I agree that there is not enough arch support. However, I am keeping them because they fit well with a wide enough toe box and my heels don't slip out. The strap near the ankle fits my foot fine, probably because I have skinny, low volume feet. I do notice that my toes get sweaty, but I wanted a closed toe sandal that can get wet, so I guess that's the price I have to pay. They are definitely cuter than my Teva Tirras, but the Teva's are more comfortable with much better arch support. I wish they made that shoe with a closed toe.

I ordered this shoe a half-size up so I got a size 8. It still feels a little loose to me and I wish I had ordered two sizes so I could be sure. But these are so comfortable I have worn them daily for a week. I like them with skirts as well as shorts. The Velcro ankle strap adapted to my ankles just fine.

I've had a pair of the Whisper sandals for years and I love them in terms of comfort and durability, but I wanted a more stylish pair that gave me same toe protection and comfort. I normally wear a size 9 shoe, but the 9 in this was a bit snug so I went with 9.5. Overall I'm happy. They are cute and are almost as comfortable as my Whispers. My arches and insteps are high. Even with that, the elastic at the ankle is not uncomfortable, although I wouldn't mind if it had a bit more give. My arches don't make contact with the soles so there is no arch support for me, but maybe it would be there for flatter arches. I find these comfortable and expect to be able to wear them for long distance walking, just like my Whispers.

I'm going into my second summer with these and love them. I can walk and hike even with my toddler on my back and not think about my feet. They are cute with skirts & dresses as well as shorts, so I can pack less shoes for vacation. I would purchase these again.

I am really liking this shoe. I work outdoors at a garden center and need a comfortable summer sandal that covers my toes, can get wet, and has support. I do not have wide feet but I do have bunions which limit my choices in footwear. I have worn the Keen Whisper in the past but I like this model better. They are also more attractive. I have received several compliments! I usually wear an 8.5 or 9. The 9 fits well.

Once again I am so disappointed. Just a few years ago I had two pairs of an excellent Keen sandal that walked me all over many miles. This pair is rather wide in the toe area, but that kind of works for me as I do like loose shoes. But I have to send them back anyway because that strap across the ankle, as so many others have noted, does not adjust. I have small and think feet and thought a fixed strap couldn't be too small for me. But of course it is. It has stretchiness to it, but no one wants the feel of the strap constantly stretching as you move. I just don't understand how these shoe companies, and I try them all, can't test their products better.

Best Sandals ever! I have rheumatoid arthritis in my toe joints and have a very hard time finding shoes that I can walk in without a lot of pain. I usually wear the Keen hiking sandals, but these seemed a lot cuter. I just wore them for two weeks walking around Europe and my feet were happy the entire time! They do not have as much cushioning as the traditional Keen hiking sandals, but that made them a lot lighter, which was nice since we walked between 8-10 miles every day. I did feel the cobblestones a bit more probably than in the regular hiking sandals, but not enough to hurt my feet. And they are really cute, I wore them with a black dress for a night out and I am planning on wearing them to work. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day and these will be perfect. These are my new favorite shoes and I plan on wearing them all summer.

I have, in the past couple of years, become a huge Keen fan. I love these shoes/sandals! I bought them first in grey from a local vendor, but gosh, when I saw them in this zippy, fun lavender-purple color, I couldn't resist. Love them! Super comfy! They run true to size - I always hover between a 9 and 9 1/2, and the 9 1/2 is perfect. I do have a narrow foot, and I would echo some of the other reviewers' input that this is probably not the shoe for women with a more athletic foot, wide foot. Very cute, airy, comfy summer sandal!

Wanted to love these shoes.. but the size is so off, I where 8.5 or 9, had to get a 9.5. I have a narrow foot and high arch, my foot keeps sliding back and too much room in the front, the back is not adjustable. Am going to take them to my shoe repair store to have the sew the back strap tighter. I wore them so too late to return.

These sandals are super cute yet comfortable and durable. My foot runs slightly wide and these fit great. They didn't need to be broken in. I've been wearing Keen sandals for almost a decade and they never disappoint.

I purchased a pair in this style at REI and I loved them. Perfect fit...so comfortable that I don't want to wear other shoes. (and my other shoes are also Clarks, Sofft and other brands that are known for comfort). The upper ankle strap can feel a little tight but it is possible to adjust. I got in a full size larger since they were otherwise tight in the toes. I normally wear 8.5-9 and these are 9.5. They aren't as sporty looking as other styles so you can get away with wearing them with pants at work (if reasonable casual environment) without looking like you're going on a hike or a river rafting adventure. I liked them so much that i purchased another pair on line, same size and style, but different color. They ended up feeling much wider and bigger than my first pair so I will have to return. Such a hassle--now I'm afraid to get them again online if the sizes are inconsistent.

These fit my 9 year old daughter who has a size 5-1/2 -6 foot...she loves them!

I just LOVE these shoes for summer/sandals! I have a pair of Keen shoes that I got years ago as a gift,so I know that they run true to size. I am a size 11 and I ordered the purple in size 11. They fit perfectly and are comfy. The only negative thing I have to say is that the straps feel a little stiff on the top of my foot,but I expect that to be because they are new and will soften up the more I wear them.They are light weight and cool on the foot. Several years ago I broke my ankle and ever since I have to wear sandals that have a back to them so my foot doesn't slide around. These accomplish that and are supportive. I really feel secure walking in them.

Lovely shoe. But the strap across the top of the foot is too tight. It is elastic and does not adjust. Unfortunately, they will be returned.

I carefully did the research on these sandals and purchased based on the reputation of the brand, the look, and the reviews. Very happy with Zappos as they arrived quickly. However, I really should have paid attention to the folks that said that you need a half size or a whole size larger. I wear a size nine in every shoe.....but these apparently. Couldn't even get my foot in it! I was ready to love these but back they went and I replaced them with some awesome Rockport sandals instead.

These run very small! I wear an 8.5 or 9, these 9s were way too small, now trying the 9.5, I really want them to work, but they seem to not fit my foot right, my feet are narrow with very high arch. I really like everything about them, I wish the fit worked.

I have foot issues. A couple of foot issues. I have one normal arch that is flexible and one bordering on high that is stuff. I have arthritis in both feet and the beginning of a bunion on one. This shoe is comfortable. It gets my doc's approval for arch support and shock absorption. I feel the footbed hugging my arches just right. If you have incredibly high arches you might want a bit more cushion. If you want a shoe that gives you an artificially high arch try Vionic. This shoe is arch "support" the way my doc says it should be. It is not an overly aggressive orthotic device. I personally will buy one in every color. True to size for me and just wide enough to work for my problem feet.

I ordered this in a size 7.5 and found that it felt a bit short and the strap placements across the mid foot was strange. I exchanged it for a size 8 which solved to weird strap placement, but unfortunately it was way too long. Sending these back, too.

I have these shoes in black, and just love them. I wanted to get them in a tan. I love the color, and, again, the style, but find the beige tighter across the instep. As soon as I put them on, they are starting to cut into my instep. So sad to have to return them.

Best shoe I have ever purchased! I cannot stop raving about the comfort and function of these shoes. They match everything and were comfortable right out of the box. Very impressed!

I love this shoe, except... The ankle strap is not fully adjustable, there is a webbing strap under the velcro strap that is just too tight. Had to return these.

Loved the look of this shoe but there is very little arch support. Had to return.

I had a pair of these from 2 seasons ago and they fit great! I wore them constantly and just tossed them to force myself to buy a new pair. Mistake. The new ones feel a half size smaller and are lacking any arch support. I really think that the pair that I got is either mislabeled (really a 6 though labeled a 7) or they so drastically changed the style that I need to size up.

Just got these in black/gray and am pleased. I am very picky about arch support in shoes and am almost always in dansko, fit flops or running shoes with extra arch support forms inside. These have fair arch support and I've made it all day in them. I like that they are narrower than some of the other styles of Keens and more dressy looking. I size up a full size for running shoes but got my normal size for flipflops or dress shoes in these and they fit great.

I bought my first pair of Rose sandals last year and wore them all summer. They are very comfortable, I like the fact that they cover my toes and are an attractive sandal. I have had no trouble with the ankle strap as it does have a little bit of stretch underneath the adjustable part. I just bought my second pair in a different color and plan to wear them traveling. Love the shoe.
