I love the Keen Rose Sandal. This is my 3rd pair of Keen shoes, and these are as comfortable as the others. I ordered my usual size and the fit is fine. These are a little more feminine than some of the others, which I like.

I love this shoe! I purchased them for a month long trip to Europe where I would be on my feet, in and out of the water, most of the time. They fit perfectly right out of the box. They look much nicer than other Keen water sandals, so I was able to wear them both to restaurants and rafting. Admittedly, I still looked like an American, but it was less in your face. My feet were never tired like I had experienced on other trips. It sounds like if you have fleshier feet then the ankle strap may be a problem, but I am pretty big boned and they were no problem for me. I hope they continue making this style, because my mom was too slow in looking for them and they are all out of her size!

The shoes are lovely but they are just not comfortable. One of the straps rubs on my toe and would become painful. Sorry but I have to return them.

I felt little arch support. The bigger problem was the adjustable strap across the instep hides an elastic one beneath it. The elastic is too tight for my high instep...a slightly odd design. The fabric was a little scratchy on my feet, too.

The materials are waterproof which is good for water activities. I would not wear these for extended periods.

I decided I wanted to have an open toe sandal. I did not like the strap across the ankle.

Though I love Keene as they fit my wide feet, this particular sandal is really lacking in arch support. But the combination of looks and practicality means I will keep it for my upcoming travels. The width is nice. For those with high arches and insteps, getting your feet in and out of these is not quite as easy as the pure Velcro strap units. There is a Velcro strap but with a rubbery cross strap underneath which cannot be detached. Keen…please start using your better foot beds in your more ‘fashion forward’ sandals!

I got one size smaller than my “recommended” size (8 instead of 8.5). I have another pair in size 8, which I love, so I knew 8.5 was WAY to big for me in this shoe. I really wanted a pair of this shoe in Navy but just could not get past the toe color, which was considerably lighter than the photos. Completely ruined the look. Disappointed, returned.

The tight non-adjustable strap over the ankle was just too uncomfortable.

Great sandal for anyone with high arches.

Bought these Keen Rose sandals for a hot weather trip where I want closed toe, supportive sandals for active days, but that will look OK with nicer pants going out to nicer places at night. My usual very comfortable, very good arch support sandals won't look good enough for dinner at nice restaurants. These sandals fit the bill very well. Very comfortable right away right out of the box, no break in period needed, nice wide toe box but heel is narrow enough to feel secure. Straps feel secure but with the right amount of stretch. I've only worn them around the house so far, so will update my review after my trip. Wouldn't normally choose this style, but it works in this situation. What I would change: more arch support; a little higher heel (I get a little back ache wearing them); and a tad less little-girl mary jane style. This is my first pair of Keen sandals (have winter boots that I love), and overall very impressed with the comfort, and the look that works my intended use.

Love these sandals - look great, feel good...just didn't fit my toes correctly with my hammertoe - hard to fit into a shoe anymore but I really wish these fit - great style, would look great with everything!

My husband and kids have worn Keens for years so I finally decided to get a pair for myself. I ordered these and the Whispers to compare. I am normally a 7.5/8 and did have to go up to an 8.5 in the Rose to get a proper fit. I thought they were equally comfortable to the Whispers and cuter IMO, so I returned the Whispers. I agree its a little annoying to put your foot through the ankle strap but once I was in it was comfortable. Haven't worn them outside yet as its winter.

I would have loved to keep these shoes because I like how they looked, their weight and even how they felt, except that the strap around the ankle was too tight. It has velcro on it but can only be adjusted tighter (not looser due to the fixed piece underneath). It would have been better to have made this a fully adjustable strap so people with wider widths could wear this shoe also.

I have a pair of these in the Brindle color that I bought a few years ago and I really like them. At that time, reviews talked about them being tight at the ankle strap. Mine were not tight at all. So, this year I decided I wanted a second color and ordered the Blue Opal. Again, the reviews mentioned the tightness of them, but I thought I would take a chance, since my first pair were perfect. Well, these are tight overall - across the foot and at the ankle strap. I can get them on, and they do not hurt my foot (or I would send them back). I can wear them for long periods without blister problems or irritation, but I do notice the tightness. I am going to keep them. I am hoping that, even though they are man-made material, they will stretch out some over time. We'll see.

I bought a pair of these 5 years ago, and they were great. So I ordered a new pair in the same size, and they’re too small. Guess I have to exchange them. I still wear the old pair on hikes and in creeks, but I’ve had to glue the Velcro parts a couple of times.

For my narrow, bunion-y feet, these are the most comfortable Keens I've tried. Most Keens are too wide on me, but these are quite comfortable and the cusion is nice. Not all Keens have the same foot-bed. Some are harder and less squishy. These feel nice and they're pretty cute... as far as Keens go. They'll work for my upcoming beach/jungle-centric trip.

Was hoping would fit more like my other keens, but seemed a little narrower and shorter than my normal 7.5.

I am usually a size 7, but these feel a little small. I am going to exchange for a 7.5 to see if they fit better. otherwise, super cute and comfy!

I wanted to love these shoes! the footbed was comfy but the "adjustable strap" is not so adjustable. it was a snug fit and if you tend to get swollen ankles like I do it will get uncomfortable. Had to send them back.

Love the beet color and flattering style. The strap behind the ankle is snug. Am keeping these anyway as they are comfortable overall after walking couple of miles, look great and my shoe repair man says he can extend the strap if it doesn't stretch out with wear.

Love the look of this sandal. Has a more feminine look compared to other similar keens. The ankle strap is fixed and I fear can become too tight after a day of walking and feet swelling. Also my little toes land somewhat between the sides straps. Reluctantly returning them.
