I normally take size 10 but, hearing this sandal runs small, I tried a half size larger, 10.5. The length of the 10.5 sandals was perfect. The width was comfortable and the strap felt fine -- probably because I have a relatively flat arch. However, for that same reason I need more arch support than the Keen Rose Sandal offers. Actually, in just a few steps, I felt my foot leaning leaning in the sandal, not staying securely upright, because of the lack of arch support I need. I tried the sandals with orthotics, but the orthotics pushed the top of my foot agains the strap and pushed my toes against the top of the shoe. Summarizing, these shoes (I tried the Magnet/Gargoyle), look very good and feel pretty comfortable if you don't need good arch support. I returned them for obvious reasons.

I have several pairs of the Keen Whisper in size 9 which I love. I ordered the Rose in 9 which was too small so I returned for a 9.5. Sadly this is also too small. Debating about trying a size 10..... The ankle strap may be part of the problem as there isn’t much adjustment. I really wanted to like these sandals. :(

I usually wear a 9 in shoes. I love Keens and have several pairs. I wear a 9.5 in these. They are a little narrower than the whisper which I have a narrow to med foot so the fit was fine. I could feel the toe covering on the top of my toes but it is softer than most Keens and after wearing they did stretch so it was not uncomfortable. Cute style.

These fit me great in a size 11; however, I am normally a size 10 so while the product I'm reviewing is indeed a perfect fit now, I I had previously ordered them from another seller in the 10 and found them to be way too short and narrow on my feet. Once I slipped them on in the size 11, however, I was good to go! I went for a hike in them on the very first day through trails, mud and water, and they were PERFECT. Although not labeled waterproof, they dry quickly and retain their shape and color. I am thrilled with them, actually! Just be aware that you may need to size up more than you might expect. But once they fit, they are an awesome pair of sturdy, toe-protecting hiking sandals that look cuter than anything else I've seen out there!

Had these in black and wore them on a 5 week trip to Europe. Love the comfort and the style is very cute. I do have a little problem when Pitt them on, kind of tight to fit your foot through the ankle area. But a great sandal...love keens

I bought these for my wife, a light summer sandal. Having purchased Keens before and having no issues with sizing these came as a surprise. Length was at least 1/2 size too small and width was unusually narrow, too narrow for normal stretch to correct. Back to Zappos they went!

Beautiful, I put them on, 5 hours later I noticed I was still wearing them! Instantly comfy, I can count on wearing the same size.

These shoes are really cute and I really, really want them to be perfect; however, I will be returning them. While they do seem a bit large, it would probably be ok, but my two reasons for returning are (1) the strap around my ankle is so snug that it makes me almost claustrophobic--and there isn't must adjustment room on it so that it could be worn looser (I don't even like snug socks around my ankles, so I know this would drive me crazy) ,and (2) the fabric that goes across the toes rubs on my big toe in a way that is uncomfortable to me. Perhaps if it was a bit smaller size, it wouldn't touch in that spot, but again, for me, I can't justify keeping them. (Plus, I ordered a different pair of Keens--waterproof ones--the same day, to replace an older pair I have worn out. I know I'll wear the WP ones a lot, so just doesn't make sense to have a pair of Keens that I'm not "keen" to wear every day!) I really did want to love these, but decided that it doesn't make sense for me, since I don't love them 100%. They are really cute! :)

Read other reviews, and yes, the strap is not super-adjustable, but not a fit issue for me. Have very hgh arches and PF, but there seems to be some arch support; a good long walk will determine whether I need to add more.

These felt quite small -- at least half a size smaller than advertised. I'm surprised others didn't mention that in their reviews.

This is my 3rd pair of this shoe and I love them! The toe box is a bit wider than the last pair I had, but still very comfy and workable.

I like Keens. I like having my toes covered and a sturdy sole. These sandals run a little smaller than the Keen Venice sandal. I get a half size smaller.

I liked the look of the sandals. I love keen Bali flip flops but needed something with an ankle strap. Unfortunately the line on the sole between the toe and ball of foot seemed to pinch my foot. I feel like this will be a problem on longer walks. I’m going to return them. I fortunately bought a second pair in a different color and the line does not pinch my foot so I will keep those. Love shopping at home with Zappos!!

Sandal was very comfortable and regular width fit my narrow heel. Strap was perfect. Toe box felt too big so I decided to return them. Thinking about ordering a half size smaller.

I needed “good”, decent looking, all-day walking sandals where my feet wouldn’t slip through. Challenging for this genre though accomplished here. I wore them out of the box, all over the Galapagos and they held up wonderfully. Very comfortable, sturdy, no blisters, and might wear again on long summer dog walks.

Bummed that these didn't work for me. I've had my eye on them for years, and finally decided to order them. Two issues: 1) the texture on the foot bed. My feet really don't like anything too textured under them and it was just nubby enough to be annoying. 2) the edge of the cloth at the very tip of the toes kept catching on the toenails of my littlest toes, enough to be annoying. So I would have kept them if there was only 1 issue to get used to ... Two means I probably wouldn't wear them. As far as fit goes, they were great (although running about a half-size small). Plenty of room in the toe box, no pinching or rubbing and all of the strappy bits are really soft. Arch support wasn't great, but the cushioning overall was better than expected. Hope this helps someone else!

Very comfortable and well made shoe. I had to return my regular size 7-1/2 for an 8, which is probably a little big, but will work.

I'm usually a solid 10 but had to order a 1/2 size up on these. The toe cap in the size 10 pressed on the top of my big toe and was very uncomfortable abter a few minutes. That said, I exchanged for a 10 1/2 and I love it. At first I worried it was too big, but I've worn it to work and hiking with no trouble. Felt secure on slippery rocks. Love the toe protection and the look.

I tried them on and about 5 hours later realized I still had them on, like I had owned them for years. Very instantly comfortable for me

I have very arthritic feet, and have not found a more comfortable pair of shoes than these Keens! I'm very active, and usually around noon, my feet are so painful, but since I've been wearing these, the pain is minimal - hurray! Great for hiking, cool, yet sturdy. Highly recommend!

I have these KEEN sandals in black, and when I saw the denim blue I was thrilled! I received them last week and wore them the whole weekend. FANTASTIC sandal, and the rubber front is perfect for protecting your toes. I love KEEN and I love ZAPPOS for having them.

They were comfortable right out of the box. It takes some work to get them on, but once done, there is no rubbing on the ankle or instep . They’re great for any casual summer outfits; I know I’ll be wearing these all of the time !
