I absolutely love these sandals. They are comfortable with fun style. Out of the box, they fit well with no uncomfortable areas. I have worn them while doing errands as well as for walks without any rubbing. True sizing for length. They run longer than Keen's Venice H2 (needed half a size larger in that style).

The 9s fit me well -- I have 7.5 wide feet that make 9s usually suitable. The problem I had with these was that I have pretty big ankles and high arches, so the straps at the toes rubbed against the lower top of my foot and my big toe rubbed against the top, plus they were difficult to get on because the ankle strap isn't that flexible and the velcro is mostly for show (better than the Mary Jane Merrell's though, where the velcro is totally for show and doesn't adjust at all). The biggest issue though is the problem I've always had with these kinds of sandals -- they make my feet REALLY hot and then my feet swell and I can't wait to rip the shoes off after wearing them for about 20 minutes. So back they go. They're really cute though, so I'm still holding out hope I can find SOME nice active summer sandal that has some style.

Size was Ok but I expected more arch support from Keen. Returning them.

I wear size 7.5-8 shoe. I have narrow heel and wide forefoot, fairly flat foot. I loved Keens' very first shoes/sandals for fit and comfort. Back then I wore 7.5 and they fit my foot perfectly. As they shortened the fit, I shifted to size 8. The shoe styles got too wide in the heel, but the sandals, at least, were still pretty good and toebox stayed wide. But now -- I don't know what's happened. Both sizing and quality are really off. I had a two-year-old pair of Rose sandals that I wanted to replace. Thanks to reviewers, I bought size 8.5 as well as 8. The toebox is tight; size 8 is way too short. The quality of the sole is still fairly supportive, but not as comfortable and definitely worse. I think I will keep the 8.5 and give it a couple of stars, but sadly will have to start looking for another brand for a new protected walking sandal. Keen seemed to think all we wanted was that silly toe bumper. I do like the toe protection, but truly, what I loved was the fit, the support and the comfort. As those go, so will I.

I have an older pair in black which I love. I wear an 8 W but since Keen does not come wide I have had good success with an 8 1/2. These felt narrow compared to my black pair. Also there was stitching that was irritating. The color was also more grey than tan. Disappointed.

These are the only shoes I've owned where random strangers come up and compliment me on them and ask about the brand. This was my fourth purchase of the exact same style and color. Not only are they cute, but they can be worn out to dinner or at the beach. If the latter, I just throw them in the washing machine and they come out looking terrific. It takes little time to air dry them but they can even be worn while wet.

These shoes tick a lot of boxes--waterproof, soles that can handle a little hiking, style that isn't hideous, closed toes with ventilation--very useful for summer adventures!

I have a narrow foot so I could never wear keen or teva. By chance i tried on a pair of these on a trip to Savannah GA. I could not believe that they fit so well and the color was great, ie goes with all colors. I wore these all day and had no issues, no rubbing, no blisters. Highly recommended!!

I love these sandals. I have nearly every color. They are comfortable and so versatile. I wear them with dresses, shorts and jeans. I normally wear 11W but the B width has plenty of room.

The Rose Sandal is comfortable and the straps and soft toe cover in the front accommodate my problem bunion foot. Some reviews commented on the ankle strap not being adjustable. The strap material is soft and stretchy and not too tight across the top of my foot so not a problem for me. I also ordered the Keen Astoria West and told myself when I ordered, I could only keep one. The Keen Astoria will be more of working sandal and will take the place of my sneakers when working outside.

I own 2 other pair of Keens (have had them for more than 10 years), and this Rose Sandal does not disappoint. The texture in the Zappos photos looks like a raised suede, but I was pleasantly surprised that the material doesn't have a high nap like the photos shoe. I am very happy with the way they fit snuggly, (unlike my other styles) the adjustable hook and loop closure strap design allows the perfect fit! The slimmer profile, is not "heavy" like the traditional hiking/water shoe. The sole is not cushioned, but somehow the form and arch support give many hours of comfort. This is a quality, comfortable, durable and fashionable casual shoe.

I am pleased with the fit of this sandal. It is much easier to get on and off than the other KEEN style, Whisper, which is also suitable for boating. It is light and not bulky. I normally wear 8M and it feels true to size. The shoe only has moderate arch support but even though I have pretty high arches they feel very comfortable and they will do double duty for short hikes and walks onshore.

The shoes look great and are very comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 and when possible I get a wide fit, these shoes fit great and have plenty of room!

I love these sandals! They fit perfectly and I do have a high instep. The fabrics are soft to feel and thus, soft on your foot. I have only worn them out twice, but both times received multiple compliments on them! I vote for KEEN Rose Sandal 100%!

These sandals are just what I was looking for, something to protect my toes, yet nice enough to wear with a skirt.

Absolutely wonderful. Walked 17 day through Spain with the shoes. They were comfortable even on cobbled streets and uneven steps. They also cleaned up and still look great.

Best shoe I have! I ordered these for our African safari and I can't say enough about the comfort and fit. I have feet that are never happy long in one shoe, but I was able to wear these with no rubs, blisters, aches or pains for 10-12 hours a day over terrain that varied from sand and water to bush veldt. They required no breaking in, which is so unusual for me! They dried quickly, kept my feet warm enough in the cool mornings and cook enough in the hot afternoons. I give this an 5 stars!

I love, love, love this sandal! Comfy right out of the box. The worst thing was the smell. They have some kind of antimicrobial coating, which actually bothers me because I'm picky about chemicals. But, I'm wearing them anyway, and really enjoying the comfort. The smell did go away after two days out of the box. One cool thing is that the sandals are machine washable. I haven't tried that yet, but the shoes say so.

Recent problems with my feet and this shoe has saved me. The only thing I would change if I could is that, like another person noted, the adjustable strap is not really adjustable -- you cannot make it looser only tighter.

First of all, I totally agree with everyone who complained about the difficulty of getting into these sandals because the heel strap is not adjustable. I am lucky to be able to get them on, but it's not easy. I disagree with the person who said there is no arch support; there's not a lot, but the footbed is NOT flat. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9. I ordered the 8.5 and loved how they looked, but they seemed a little tight, so to be safe, I ordered the 9 to compare. The 9 is slightly more comfortable but they look so much bigger I decided to go with vanity and keep the 8.5. I wore the 8.5's around outside today and I'm glad I opted to keep them. I'd rather they be slightly tight than own them and not wear them because they look big! I can't imagine anyone wearing socks with these sandals, but if that's an option for you, for sure, size up!

I like these Keen sandals because they are cute enough to wear casually but can also work as a hiking sandal. They fit a bit small. I normally wear an 8.5 and had to get a 9 in these sandals.

I really wanted to like these! I can see how they would be very comfortable on the right feet - the support was great, they felt secure on my feet, and the style is more feminine and delicate than other similar shoes. However they just would not work on my fat feet and high insteps. The ankle strap appears to be adjustable, but there is a fixed neoprene (or similar material) strap under the semi-adjustable velcro strap that was just too tight. When I closed the velcro strap, the end of it lay squarely on the top of my foot, rather than on the side near my ankle. Not a good look, and obviously the fixed strap was not meant to be stretched so far as to cause that. The toe box area was plenty wide but the straps across the ball of the foot were too snug and I could tell they would rub badly when walking.
