My first Merrell, but not my last. Right out of the box the fit was perfect. They have a good arch support and are true to size. Support light weight.

I ordered these shoes because I thought they would look cute with jeans and capris. And, they do. But they are also unbelievably comfy and supportive! I love them!

These shoes are great. They have enough support that my feet don't hurt, are light and flexible. Wide at the end helps my toes not feel pinched. Bought two pairs in different colors!

I really wanted a shoe I could wear without socks, and after a few weeks I could wear these bare. I ordered a size 10, which is my normal shoe size, and it fits perfectly without socks. I think for winter I would order a half size larger and wear them with socks. Obviously I like the shoes very much since I'm considering another pair for cold weather. I walk a lot on dirt trails and I love the enhanced feel of ground under my feet. I can also tell my feet have become much stronger since wearing these, but do follow their break-in advice if you're not used to "barefoot" shoes.

This shoe does feel like you are bare foot. It is really comfortable for walking.

This is a fantastic shoe! It is very lightweight but still supportive in the arch. Also, the styling and color are current and especially great for spring and summer. I was able to wear them all day the first time I put them on and they are great for walking.

These are the best sneakers I have ever owned. I walked a huge trade show with over 3,000 exhibits the other week and my feet never hurt. Love these and will continue to buy them over and over again.

I love my new Merrell Bare Access Arc 2. I bought the blue and lively colored running shoes are very popular right now. They are my first pair of barefoot shoes and I'm never going back. I have seen my hip, knee, and foot pain disappear. I can go miles and miles and feel like I'm walking on air. They breathe like sandals and dry quickly. They are so flexible that I can do yoga in them. The toe box is huge and my toes are very happy at the end of the day.

I LOVE Merrill shoes -- own too many pairs, they fit, are comfortable and wear well. For that reason, when a friend suggested that I might like the "barefoot" version for walking and work-outs, I purchased a pair of Bare Access Arc 2. All was as expected -- great fit, I could really feel the floor, liked the color, comfy. That lasted for about two weeks when suddenly my legs and back started to hurt. Really bad leg cramps at night. The worst part was that I had not been stressing, climbing or walking long distances. After trying for weeks to discover the reason for my sudden attack of leg cramps, I mentioned them to my trainer friend who said "don't you have high arches?" Yes! I had not realized that these lovely shoes don't have enough arch support for my unusually high arches. I will still buy Merrill shoes, but will be more mindful of the arch support of different styles These ratings reflect my initial observations, before my very high arches kicked in to ruin my fun.

Love these shoes. They are comfortable, lightweight and easy to get on and off. Great product.

I have rectangles for feet so I really love finding an attractive shoe that doesn't cram my toes in. (I almost always have to go a size up, or get wides, which then usually don't fit the rest of my foot.) So happy to see Merrell coming out with some bright colors and cute style! I have issues with my arches so completely "barefoot" style does not work for me, these have just enough cushion and arch support that I can be in them all day without pain, and they are so light that I feel like I am not wearing shoes. It did take me a few wears around the house for me to decide they were the right fit because I am not used to the barefoot style (the ability to do this is reason number 8,000,000,000,045 why I love ordering from Zappos!) I think if I had tried these on in a store I may not have bought them, so if you are new to barefoot, wear them around the house for a while and give them a chance.

Love these shoes. Lightweight with so much support. I wear them all the time! I may need a second pair in a different color!

I was hesitant to buy a pair of "lightweight" or "barefoot" style running shoes because my heels need a lot of padding to be comfortable. I thought my feet would be sore after running. Not the case with these shoes. I love them. I cannot believe how light they are compared to my old running shoes and comfortable as well. They have excellent arch support as well which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes! They are cute and comfortable. I wear them to the gym, running errands and playing around with the kids.

I love these shoes. I'm not a runner or a power walker, but I work in NYC and have to walk a lot during the course of the day. I have fat little Hobbit feet and suffer from toe pinching if the toe-box is not wide enough. These are very comfortable. Like being barefoot with support. I wore them all day today while walking around enjoying the nice weather and my feet feel the same as they did when I woke up this morning.

My favorite new shoe! The colors are just right - not too bright and flashy - look adorable on and feel so light. Highly recommend!

In love with this shoe! Comfy straight out of the box, no breaking in needed. Nice, wide toe bed with plenty of flex. These are a great shoe if you're not sure about barefoot options. I have a high arch and appreciate having the support and stability this shoe offers, but my foot still moves naturally and freely. One caveat: you will notice your muscles working differently - particularly in the upper leg - if you haven't worn barefoot type shoes before. I wear these everywhere - walking around the city, on trails, at the gym. I couldn't resist the green and I get tons of compliments.

I couldn't decide between this shoe and the Mix Master Glide so I ordered both to compare. I liked both but this shoe fit my foot perfectly. The arch is quite pronounced, but seems made for me. The Mix Master Glide was a bit more shoe and almost seemed too big, less of a barefoot feel. I've been wearing the Pace barefoot for over a year, I have two pairs, and love them but this shoe has a little more sole but still gives the barefoot feel. I use my shoes for walking on sidewalks and trails and for the gym. I never thought I would find a shoe I like as much as the Barefoot pace, but these are even better. These run slightly bigger than the Pace, but smaller than the Mix Master Glide.

I ordered this shoe for the great green color. I knew if it was a Merrell it would be comfortable. When I received the shoe I was very happy. The color is fabulous and the comfort is unbelievable! Definitely worth the investment.

These shoes are fabulous from the second you put them on. No break-in period required. Plus--the color-you just feel great wearing them!

I've bought the Bare Access Glove, which is a great shoe, but is tighter and lighter. The Bare Access Arc 2 is better on hard and uneven surfaces as it provides more support and has a wider toe box. I also like to wear thin socks and the Access Arc 2 is better shoe for socks.

I wanted a fun looking, lightweight shoe to walk in and this was perfect. Very comfortable shoe. I like how lightweight it is, and the fact that the sole isn't stiff. I use for running errands and short walks and don't know if it would be great for serious walkers. I might need more arch support. Love the turquoise color!

I love these shoes! I bought them for my line dance class and Zumba class because I wanted something that was lightweight and not bulky. Fabulous comfort with nonstop one-hour action in all my classes. They are also very foot flattering and looks sensational with all your clothes. Later I also bought the Merrell Barefoot Pure Leather Glove and it's fantasticl too.

Love these shoes! Very light weight. I purchased these shoes to replace a beloved pair of Privos that I've had for 7 years. I haven't found a Privo pair that could compare to the comfort/fit/style of the original ones. Found these in a catalog and ordered them from Zappos (for their FANTASTIC customer service)! I was able to wear these right out of the box, without any need to "break them in". Went on a 2 mile walk without any blisters, discomfort, etc. There is not a lot of cushioning, but that is by design since these are meant to be a barefoot shoe. My only change would be that it is more leather than mesh on top. My privos are all leather, which is nice in keeping your feet dry when going to a morning soccer game for my kids :) But these are more breathable. I haven't tried to wash them yet, but find it a plus that I can thrown them in the washer when dirty.
