Apparently I hallucinated a review saying these fit larger calves, looking back through the reviews now I see nothing of the sort, though it won't be the first time I convinced myself I would love a unsuitable product. I feel sad and naked now with my large muscular calves left bare in this cool, early spring weather. Will nothing ever cover them? Will no boot wide enough for my calves ever be created with enough of a minimalist sole to strike my fancy? For folks like me with short legs and kick ass calves the only tall boot that we can hoist up over our car-carriers are synthetic, urbane, tacky Jersey-Shore lookin' boots with weak heels and fuggly straps that do not keep your feet warm or dry. Zappos, Bogs, you disappoint me in this regard. I think I will shave and put on a long skirt to warm and comfort my unprotected, unthought of lower leg. In other news, for all of you adorably weak-legged people out there, these boots are great. I love Bogs, when I can get them on.

I really wanted to like these boots. After wearing Hunters for years these felt like mushy blobs on my feet. There's not much support and they are so loose on my ankles it's hard to walk in them. Back they go. Ended up choosing Kamik boots.

I'm a farmer and I wear my Bogs Tall Boots every day and I love them. When I saw they had rain boots, I had to try them. They fit very differently from the Bogs Tall Boots. They are not as tall for one, more mid calf but the biggest difference is the fit. They are a lot looser all over than the high boots and an entirely different feel. Didn't have to wait for the foot bed to stretch out. They fit right away. I have to say I do love them. They are easy to get on and off, not heavy on the foot and a true rain boot. Just saying if you're used to the other Bogs this one might take an adjustment.

I love these boots! I use them for the rain and for gardening. I love that I can just hose them off and they look new again. These boots have suffered a lot of abuse and still look new. I had and returned Hunters, they made my feet look like clown feet (I wear an 8), I like these look much better.

These boots are a cute color. They are no so comfortable for walking around New York City. I've had cheaper boots that were more comfortable. I wear them with orthotic inserts but even so... Size-wise they fit but after a while they feel short and not great.

I am a 9.5 shoe but wear size 10 Bogs. Recently, my Classic Highs ripped in the neoprene part and started leaking. I decided to replace them with the Glosh, since they are rubber coated on the entire outside and I walk in a lot of rough, woody areas. They fit just like the Classic Highs (a little loose) but I just used the insoles from my Classic Highs and voila a comfortable, snugger fit. I use these for rainy days, early morning walks in the dew and marsh with my lab and chores around the yard. They will not be as warm as the Classic High, but I think with a good pair of wool socks they will serve me year-round for most activities. I am a big fan of Bogs! The apple green is cheery on a rainy day.

These boots meet my needs. As a penguin keeper, I have to do a lot of cleaning with a hose, and my feet are constantly in close contact with water. I like these boots because they come right up to my calves and fit pretty snug around them. This helps to keep water from getting inside my boots during the work day. They are pretty easy to get on and off and I even tuck my jeans inside of them with no problem. These shoes also have a decent grip on slippery surfaces. I have worn these boots for numerous 9 hour days and I never experienced the normal, "breaking-in," period. They fit well from the first wear. These shoes are also pretty flexible, allowing me to cram them in my backpack before work. I actually purchased these boots in the coral daisy pattern from another venue and receive compliments all the time. One negative I have is the smell. There is a very strong, rubbery odor these boots have that still has not gone away.

I love Hunter boots, but they do not fit my feet well, with their wide toe box and high instep. I tried these and the Huntress, as well as the Havaianas. These fit very well. There is plenty of room for my very wide feet and high instep. There is plenty of arch support, no slippage, The fit in the leg for me was not gaping at the top and reasonably stylish, my calf is athletic. I am tiny, 5'1" and 110 pounds but my calf is certainly the biggest part of me, proportionally! This is in the size 6. The Huntress boot is lovely but in order to get the wide foot/high instep you also get the wide calf, which was much too wide for me and looked awkward. This is Certainly a little bulky in appearance though - I ordered the Havaianas boot as well and it was much sexier looking (taller and sleeker, though still nice and roomy in the foot). Even compared to the Hunter this looks a little more utilitarian. But this one is much more comfortable. It is easier to pull on and off but it also does not wander around on my foot while I am wearing it. I tried them on and then noticed an hour later that I was absentmindedly still wearing them while doing household chores. That is comfort. Quality is high. They provide great traction, solid construction in the lining and under the foot. That is important here in the Northwest where I will be wearing these a lot. I might have bought the Hunter boots if they fit better, or the super cute Havaianas if I were only going to be wearing them very occasionally. I have wide feet, high arches, and live in one of the rainiest places around. So these Bogs boots were the most comfortable, plenty cute, easy to get on and off, and built for real weather and walking.

These boots are awesome. They are real rain boots, all rubber, not part neoprene like the original Bogs, which suits me fine because I live in a warm place where I would not need the insulation of the neoprene. The veggie print is just as cute in real life as in the pictures. They are tall enough to keep water out when I go splashing with my kids, have good traction, and are as comfortable as rain boots can be. I first ordered my usual size, but ended up ordering the next size up so I can fit thick socks under and wear them as snow boots in the occasional North Carolina snow storm!

Very cute boots! However, they only come in whole sizes and they run small. I am normally a 7 and had to return them for an 8. The 8's fit but are ever so slightly large. I wish I could have bought a 7.5. There is also no arch support. An insert will fix this and the sizing though. The boots themselves are comfortable and very cute! I actually look forward to the rain so I can wear them!

These boots are really cute, but they are not for people with larger calves. I put them on, and even without pants tucked in, the sort of slouched down. I'm returning them. No Bogs for me.

I love these boots! I had a pair of the original, glossy Hunter boots but my calves are short and the Hunter boots cut into the back of my calves, where they met my knees, when I would kneel to garden. I bought these boots to replace the Hunter boots and am absolutely thrilled with them.

Bought these to replace same version from a few years ago - amazing tough and stylish and comfy boot! I wear every day to hike the pup in the woods-even in winter, and they have held up so very well. So much better than other boots I've tried that fall apart immediately. Highly recommend.

Nothing better than Bogs for wet, messy days! I actually purchased these for my son who is 11 and wears a boys' 6 shoe. However, he has a narrow foot so he isn't ready for men's sizes yet. The gender neutral style and fun color are great.
