If you have narrow feet, these are probably not the shoes for you. I ordered my usual size and my big toe hit the end of the shoe, so I returned them for a half size larger, but they felt too wide along the instep and toes, so when I tightened the laces to keep my foot from slipping around in the shoes, the top of the shoe bunched up and pressed on the top of my food when I was walking. They also didn't have any support for my arches. I really wish I could wear them because I love the way they look and they have the right kind of sole for Zumba, but they just aren't right for my feet.

This shoe looks great and had nice cushioning, but the top of it dug into the tops of my toes when I walked in it. I didn't want to risk blisters from wearing it during a class so I'm returning them.

Comfortable, I suppose, but I felt no support whatsoever. I have very high arches, so perhaps that's it....like so much so that when the New Balance people put me on their little machine to scan my footprint, the ball of my foot and heel weren't even connected lol. I did try bouncing a bit on the balls of my feet and just felt no cushion. They are super cute and very lightweight, but I need a lot more shoe than this.

This shoe has good arch support and is mostly comfortable. I have a narrow heel and these are fairly loose with even normal walking.

I loved my Dynamics for Jazzercise and was dismayed to find that they have now been replaced by Dynamic 2. I got mixed comments from friends who have Dynamic 2 so I got the Influence based on reviews that they have good cushioning. I was surprised to find that they have almost no cushioning at all! They fit well and have good support though, so I got some Dr Scholl's inserts for athletic shoes. They did not have any cushioning either so I got Dr Scholl's massaging gel inserts. They are a little better and I am satisfied with the shoes now, but I sure do miss my original Dynamics! I wish that Ryka would stop improving their shoe models I would love to be able to depend on a favorite shoe to still be available when I need a new pair!

I loved the look of these shoes, and they were very comfortable...until I took a step forward. The material in the toe box bent at a weird spot on each foot and put pressure on my pinky toe. Sadly, these were returned.

Got these shoes for Jazzercise. Really not enough support, especially in the toe area. Would probably be ok for just knocking around

Wanted to love these, but the 8.5 was a bit to small and the 9 was too big. Otherwise, they are exactly what I have been looking for in a Zumba shoe.

Cute shoes, felt good out of the box. However after moderate use for Jazzercise classes, found the overall cushioning to be inadequate for high impact aerobics. Too bad.

Got these late last year in black with hot pink trim. First pair of Ryka dance shoes. I usually use Bloch, but wanted something that didn't have a split sole.
These are comfortable and stylish. Really very attractive. However, they do not SPIN. Not good for dance classes that involve lots of turns.
Guess I'm going back to Bloch. :(

I bought these for high impact Jazzercise classes. They are cute shoes but lack the cushioning for high impact jumping.

I was very disappointed in the comfort of this show. My previous Ryka shoes were perfect for my Zumba classes. These have my feet hurting 10 minutes into each classes. The difference seems to be in the shock absorber / support.

Attractive shoes, very lightweight, but 11W was too small for my 11W foot. (I've been searching for a good Zumba shoe with support, and had hoped this would be it.)

I wanted to love these, and thought that I did but I only used them in my house, which is carpeted. Once I wore them in class, I realized a few things: the toe box is too small for me (I am a 5.5 R possibly Narrow), and too wide, the laces untie easily. They are nice & lightweight but just don't give enough support. I use these for Zumba 2-3 times a week and it's too much. No way they would be adequate for daily use. For the purposes of twisting, the sole is good.

I normally wear size 6 but my big toe was hitting the toe box so I have to exchange it for a larger size. I'm going to try to get size 6.5. The shoes are super light weight and the black/purple color is nice. The sides of the shoes don't have much support because it's mostly fabric so it may not feel supported. However, it's great jumping in them and it feels stable.

I picked this shoe because I have a pair of Ryka's that have lasted a long time. I take a lot of high impact classes and these unfortunately did not have enough cushioning in the ball of the foot where I need it most. They do look great though and fit fine.

If you are looking for a shoe for Zumba, keep looking. While I found this shoe comfortable with lots of cushion and support, I couldn't slide, pivot or shuffle in zumba class. I could feel my knees twisting! Ouch! This fit was good, I did order 1/2 size smaller than my usual size.

I need good shoes for Zumba that let me slide and turn on wooden floors without sliding away. I found these soles extremely thin, even after replacing the insoles with an athletic gel support insole like I always do, but I experienced no foot or joint pain. Overall these worked well...until they began falling apart less than 3 months later! I have worn Rykas for a while now and they fit well. My feet are not wide, but holes appeared on the sides where my pinky toes are! Crazy! And considering the price crazier still! A previous pair of Rykas began to fall apart after a couple months (sole separating from top of shoe!) so I am reconsidering if I should continue to go with this brand for future purchases. Bummer because they really fit well. I contacted Zappos amazing customer service and was refunded for the shoes. Now the search for Zumba shoes begins again...sigh.

I just received this shoe and am returning it. The style is nice but it doesn't fit. I followed the advice on the reviews and ordered a size larger than my regular size, which is way too big. My advice is to order the same size as your regular shoe size, which in my case is out of stock. Also, I want them for line dancing, and the sole seems too sticky for that. I will stick to Bloch shoes for line dancing, which I do order a size to a size and a half larger than my street shoe size.

I bought these dance sneakers for line dancing which I do about 15 hours per week. The tops of these sneakers are mesh. That doesn't give me ANY support when I make my turns so I am unhappy with these shoes. Unfortunately I wore them a couple times already so I can't send them back or I would. Now they are going to be given away after they sit in my closet for 6 months and I don't wear them. I love my RYKA Exertion dance sneakers - I have two pairs of those and they ARE GREAT but they no longer sell that model and I can't find any other Ryka's that do as well.

One shoe felt like it had more padding than the other shoe. Feels like pinching on toes as they bend while walking. Not comfortable at all! Length true to size. Overall, loved the color and look, but as far as comfort, would not recommend!

I was excited to try this shoe based on the reviews and my discovery that running shoes are not the best shoes to wear for group x classes (Zumba, U-Jam, etc). Unfortunately, after trying them on, I discovered the heel of the shoe comes up too high and irritates the back of my ankles. Maybe if I broke them in, it wouldn't be an issue, but I didn't want to risk that. Promptly returned. If you are sensitive to shoes that come up too high in the back, beware of these.

I usually wear a 10, they were too short, by a hair. Got these in an 11 as there was no 10.5 available. Big mistake. Even with orthotics, a little too loose, and the first Ryka shoe I've ever owned (have owned 4 or 5) that simply didn't have enough forefoot cushioning for high impact. Was a Jazzercise instructor for years, and did higher impact as an instructor than I do now as a student, but these just don't cut it. It's becoming a very expensive search for the right shoe. Honestly can't tell how they will be until worn a couple times in class.

These are adequate for bopping around the gym. Could use a bit more cushioning for high-impact aerobics like Zumba and Kick-Boxing.
