My previous Ryka shoes were size 8 1/2. I ordered the same size in this shoe, but I wish I would have ordered a 9. The larger size would allow for the cushioned socks that I like to wear. Now I must use thinner socks.

First, based on other reviews I a bought a half size larger (9) than my usual 8.5 and that was the right thing to do; the larger size was fine and accommodated socks. Bought the shoe for Zumba. It's good for that, light and w the limited traction needed for the slides. It is a light dance shoe and not for running or walking or other more intense uses. Good padding in the heel not a lot under the toe box as is appropriate for a Zumba shoe.

Loved my last pair so returned for another and am glad I did.

Darn things hurt and not enough padding in the shoe. I took the insert out and felt the bottom and it was much harder than a pair of Ryka's I previously purchased. Even when I added a insert, the shoe now hurts in the toe box area. I guess it was too much padding although the insert was pretty thin. Man this bites! Back to the drawing board.

I got these shoe for Zumba and other classes. I am very satisfied - my feet stay put during lateral moves and there is enough padding on the sole so that jumps are comfortable. There is not a lot of arch support so I removed the insole and added an orthotic. The fit is snug but comfortable - minimizes foot movement in the shoe. Medium width was fine for me even with my bunions.

I am a trainer who does a lot of cross-training so I need a lightweight shoe that allows me to move quickly in all directions. These shoes allow me to do that. While they are comfortable they seem to be about a half size smaller than their marketed size. I'm not crazy about how they look, but a lot of my clients are complimentary! As long as they help me do my job, I'm good!

I have worn these to about 10 zumba classes. The first thing that bugs me is they squeak on the hard wood floor. The out sides of my feet can get really sore after a very bouncy class. But since I really need an adequate arch support, I will continue to wear them. I am currently wearing a pair of Lucy grip socks with these to keep my sweaty feet in place. I think it really does help.

These are very comfortable with great support. My only complaint is that despite having the little circle under the ball of the foot, these shoes do not allow for easy pivoting in Zumba. It is a shame that they stopped making the Studio D, which were the perfect Zumba shoes.

Pothead are very comfortable shoes. Feel great, right out of the box. I wear them for Zumba and my only complaint is that they don't turn as easy as the old Ryka Studio D shoes. As with all athletic shoes, order a 1/2 size up.

I have a super-wide toe box (think the shape of a classic Birkenstock sandal) and a custom orthotic insole. Wanted to love these, but they just hurt after one Jazzercise workout.

I like these shoes but they slip slightly on the heel. I wanted a wide width but they were unavailable so I ordered 1/2 size bigger which was OK except for the heel. The next size down also slipped on my heel but I want them for jazzercise and I like the pivot point on the sole.

I take Jazzercise classes, and I bought my first pair of Influence style shoe last year. This style has been one of the best I've worn so far for Jazzercise classes- good support, comfortable, and stylish. I just bought my second pair, and will likely buy again when I need new shoes.

I actually only got to wear these shoes once, then noticed one of the pink stripes on the side was already coming off. I ended up sending them back because of that, but I did like the shoes the one time that I did wear them. I gave them 4 stars because hopefully it was just a fluke that the pair that I received was defective. I may try another pair. Haven't decided.

The Influence is as close as I've come to a shoe that provides support and performance yet still fits my narrow foot. If it were just a bit narrower in the toe box it would be perfect.

Great shoe, lighter than expected with good support. Almost feels like a swim shoe, but so far it seems to be working well.

I have trouble finding shoes that fit me right because I have bunions. These fit great, look great, and support my feet.

Wonderful dance sneaker but it runs short! I had Ryka in 8.5 before, I should've gotten these in 9. Generous toebox and snug heel. The sole is an excellent combo of padded protection, and shaping for stability and movement.

I wanted a cute shoe to wear with my athletic wear on weekends and also to do my excercise videos in. For those purposes, they work fine. I also run and would not select this pair to run in. I don't feel they provide enough cushioning. In running shoes I always order one full size larger. I did the same with these and they are probably 1/2 size too large. I can still work with them to walk in. The style is super cute. This is my first pair of Rykas!

This is a great low impact shoe for me. Lateral support is good. I prefer the I nance for high impact. Both are good shoes.

I am glad you carry 10.5 shoes. I just wish they were narrow. I love the color and support. They slide great on the floor in Zumba. How difficult do you think it might be to make narrow shoes? I know a lot of women with narrow feet and having a great workout shoe that is narrow would be awesome! These are a little wide for me, but they are the length.
