Great shoes for Zumba and other fitness dance classes. Cushioning is adequate (I'm tall so feel that extra height on my feet). Great to pivot and spin around in.

Best cross trainers ever! Great for Zumba, running the treadmill, or lifting weights. These are truly the first shoes I've owned in years that I feel I can recommend. Previously, my experience has been so frustrating. Shoes would feel great in the store, but then I would start walking the track or in my neighborhood and end up with blisters. Plus, previous shoes always felt so heavy on my feet that I hated wearing them. These are light weight, a little bit wider in the shoe box (think that's what it's called), and COMFORTABLE. I will be angry if I need a new pair in a year or so and discover Ryka has discontinued them. I LOVE these shoes.

Started Zumba using my 'comfortable for walking' Ryka Leather and Mesh shoes which were not so comfortable for Zumba. I tried several Ryka styles but found the Influence to be, by far, the most comfortable due to cushioning and arch support and no heel slippage. I don't know much about how the spin spot should operate since I'm new to this, but I find that it's not slick, actually sticks to the vinyl gym floor somewhat, maybe by design? I normally wear size 7M in a closed toe and the 7M fit perfectly. Overall, due to the comfort, I am happy with the purchase.

I've been a Zumba and group fitness instructor for 5 years. My aching feet are always searching for the perfect shoes and I have finally found them! Here are the great features: They are super light and breathable, have a bendable flexible sole, are not to slippery yet not to sticky for dancing, are cute and stylish, have a nice wide foot bed, and a pivot point. I am ordering more because the only down side is that they tend to wear out a bit more quickly than some shoes, but I wear them every day all day.

I'm so happy with these shoes. I was attending a Zumba Gold class twice a week and was having knee pain after, to the point where I thought I would have to quit. After doing some research, I decided to try these shoes -- they make a huge difference, and are very comfortable. No more sore knees!

As a physical educator, who taught lots of dance classes, I have used many brands of athletic shoes. I started Zumba last year and just got these shoes for class. As soon as we started doing pivot moves, I could tell the difference. The circular grip is amazing and the shoe is supportive and flexible. Other athletic shoes are not made for these kinds of dance moves; they grip too much which is felt in the knees. I'm so happy that I found the proper shoe for this kind of dance work-out.

These shoes are great. People have told me that these are more for zumba or dance because of the soles. I found the shoes to be a great cross training shoes. It works for my kick boxing, weight lifting, insanity, and circuit training classes. Good arch support. I don't need my insoles. I would prefer a wider front because of my bunions but it works. Overall good shoes.

Great shoes for Zumba, I can now pirouette and not feel pain in my knee. They are also comfortable with excellent toes room. Love them.

I loved these shoes but they were just a little short in the toe. They had much more arch support and cushioning than my current Zumba shoes (which is what I was looking for). I would suggest ordering a half size larger than you usually do.

I have owned at least 6 pairs of Rykas (which are my favorite brand for working out) and this is by far my favorite. They fit great right out of the box. Great shock absorption and support for high impact activities in a very lightweight shoe. I'm ordering another pair in a different color!
