These are my "go to" socks for walking comfortably. In winter they are especially nice because of the foot cushion which is soft and warm. A great boot sock among other things!

Size 11. I am an 8.5 shoe, and these socks fit really well, but are a bit shorter in height (up the calf/shin) than a typical tube sock. I might get the larger size up, just to see how that fits, as I am on the cusp of the next size. Comfortable as all heck, and my feet breathe much better in these.

I bought these socks for my elderly father, who has trouble putting his socks on his size 13 feet. They are stretchy and easy to put on, stay up, and are super comfortable. Did not shrink in the dryer. They are expensive but well worth every penny.

This is without a doubt the most comfortable work out sock and the most comfortable winter sock. It is very difficult to find socks that fit as I wear a size 5 shoe. This is the perfect fit. Thank you Zappos!

I reordered these socks after wearing the three pack I had ordered last winter. They are holding up fine but I was washing them so often I decided it would be better to have six pairs. They are great! So very comfortable that once you start using them you do not want to wear any other sock. Give great support to arch and the heel. Also to the ball of foot. All in all they are well worth the money! You may need to go up a half size in shoe or also get a wider shoe. I wear a wide size 8 so they are perfect for me. Other socks would cause slippage in heel, but these make shoe fit like a glove. I love them! I also like the postal sock for the same reason. Those I wear with black shoes since they are black. But, the six Walking Crews are white and of course I wear them with my white shoes. All ordered, by the way, from Zappos of course!

These socks are fantastic; they last forever. Only one con: I have slender legs and do have to cut out the one row of elastic at the top. Still last forever.

Love these Thorlos. I get sore feet, and these add an important cushioning layer. They are well made, and pretty thick. Thicker than the average sock, so keep that in mind. They can help make slightly large shoes fit right, or ruin perfect fitting shoes! They're also quite warm, but effective at wicking the sweat away. And I like my feet warm, even in warm weather. Those with 'hot feet' may feel oppressed.

I have worn these for several years. They are really the only socks that I wear. I have them in four colors. The padding really helps with my knee problems. I wear them along with Earth shoes.

Expensive, but worth it. Very good cushioning on the bottom. Good weight. Not too thick to wear with everyday shoes.

Where have you been all my life? These socks are great if your feet stay cold. They are great for comfort. I bought white black brown, and I love them. These are the greatest socks! Once you get used to these, you will never be able to wear regular socks again. They are so cushy compared to regular socks. That has got to make your feet feel better at the end of the day. Better than they would have without these socks!

These socks are terriffic. They provide an arch support unlike any other sock I\'ve ever owned. I walk 4 miles a day and these have improved its quality tremendously. The only thing better is the unbelievable Zappos service. I wish they sold groceries.

For doing a lot of walking on a long visit to NYC, I needed more serious socks. These fit the bill very well. Good fit, comfortable, no blisters!

Best casual socks ever - These are the most comfortable casual socks ever. They also hold up extremely well over time. I just added a new color – navy - to my collection of white, black, and brown socks that I have been wearing on a daily basis for over a year. I can't stand to wear any other socks!

Superior Athletic Socks! I have used this style of Thorlos for more than five years. The fit is perfect. I love the cushioning in the toe and heal areas. The best feature is the ideal band of support in the arch. I walk between 5 and 10 miles a day, five days a week, so I think I am in a position to judge walking comfort. These are the absolute BEST athletic socks for distance walking. They're not bad for just kicking back either.

Heaven on my feet - I have worn Thorlos for years. They are extremely durable and well padded and add a level of protection for the heel and ball of the foot. They make all of my shoes more comfortable. They are thicker than the average sock and won't fit well if your shoes tend to be tight.

The very best - These are the very best socks that I have ever purchased I’ve always been looking for a sock that doesn’t fall down in my shoe and these are them and really very soft too. No shrinkage either; I have had problems in the past with socks that shrink even when I have paid good money for them. Marie from Missouri

I've been wearing these socks for at least 10 years (not the same pair, obviously, but this style) because they are the only walking sock available in a size that fits me. I wear a size 6 shoe and the 'normal' woman's size is too big so I buy the smallest (children's?) size which fits me perfectly. I used to be able to get that size in black but it's no longer available so I'm forced to get the white color. I still buy them because they fit so well but I'd buy more of them if they came in black. I've never worn any other walking sock because they're all too big but these are very comfortable for both long-distance walking and every-day wear.

This sock has almost too much padding for me. It's extremely comfortable and soft but puts me up another shoe size because of the bulk. The regular Thorlos Level 3 Work Crew works best for me.

My husband loves the comfort and fit of these socks. The only negative was the pack of "sand" colored socks. The color definitely has a yellow tinge – more like French vanilla ice cream than sand.

The best sox I know of. I have been wearing Thorlos Walking Crew for about 13 years; they are the only sox I do wear. I have a foot that tires very soon whenever I use any other kind of sox/stockings, so maybe you will understand that I am quite selective about what goes on my feet. I can only say that I am very satisfied with Thorlos!!!

Great sox! When I was able to walk for exercise these sox were great, but after several surgeries etc. the Thorlos got pushed back in my sox drawer. FORGOTTEN! Now, after hip & knee replacements, along with bad feet/fallen arches I'm back into Thorlos and my feet are feeling much better since they help eliminate swelling and fluid retention much better than surgical support stockings and Thorlos are far more comfortable and much easier to put on. The Thorlos arch support is wonderful. I wear a lot of black so I was thrilled finding Thorlos in black since my FASHION choices are very limited, I'm forced to wear UGLY shoes. Zappos has wonderful service, the best ever!!!

Expensive socks - I normally wouldn't pay this for socks, but had a refund coming from Zappos and thought I'd apply that to try these. They are comfortable, thick, and the best socks I've ever had. They haven't been washed enough to comment on that, but by following the instructions, turning the socks inside out and using liquid fabric softener, they have come through so far in excellent condition. I also used the nylon mesh bag for delicate fabrics. There is some wear on one pair that I wore with Velcro closures. Probably from my feet rubbing together since the wear is just below the ankle. Zappos service remains THE BEST!

Best socks ever - They are a bit thick, and they look like they would be hot, but they actually keep my feet dry and cool. They are a lot cooler than cotton socks.
