I am so sad!! Hated to return these cute, comfortable sandals, but unfortunately they were too wide for my narrow feet! Long term they would not be comfortable since my feet kept sliding forward. Typical for Born shoes, the leather is so soft and supple. And I did love them!! One more time when I wish my feet were fatter!!!

This is a beautiful shoe. I ordered the yellow and they were comfortable right out of the box, so I just ordered the tan. I did spray them with waterproofing. I wear a 10 and they fit perfectly, I have long toes and they all stay properly on the shoe. They do have a strap around the big toe, which I like as it keeps the shoe in place. It is a very soft leather. I did go for a walk in them but you are not going to want to wear them all day if you will be walking miles. It's a flat shoe with a comfortable sole, but not a lot of heel and arch support. I still gave them 5 stars because it would not be fair to judge them like a sneaker or athletic sandal.

I love the color, the fit, the style....however, they were incredibly cheaply constructed. There is a very thin layer of leather glued to the lining. I felt like, as I was buckling them up for the first time, that the materials were going to separate as I pushed the leather through the buckle. Spending money on something that falls apart the first time I have to run from my car to the store in the rain doesn't seem like money well spent. They're being returned.

These are very cute & comfortable sandals. The leather is extremely soft. They fit true to size for me. I’m still deciding on keeping them due to the mustard color & how my deviated toe looks in them. I was hoping for a more mellow yellow, but they’re so soft & comfortable I probably keep them.

Immediately comfortable, fit is fantastic, and they look very stylish and modern. I’m going to wear these shoes until they disintegrate.

LOVE the "thong style" on my big toe! Sandal is entirely comfortable, and nice to look at.

My first Zappos disappointment, but the quality of the leather chosen by the manufacturer is the real issue. Fit and size were fine, but the leather was way too soft and stretched so much that my foot began to slip forward on the shoe. Big toe hanging over front edge after wearing just a few hours! Loved the style and color, so I was very disappointed.

They are really comfortable but the design of the strap that goes over the outer side of the foot should have been wide as well. It goes straight over and against the small toe. And if you have a wider foot then it feels the foot is sliding out on the side. Too bad. Returning.

These shoes are comfy right out of the box. The sole is thin but nice & the leather upper is soft - great pair of sandals - very happy with my purchase

The fit is a little weird at the widest part of my foot; I feel like it should encompass that area where I've placed the red color in the photo. Also, the heel slaps/drags as I walk, like it's too big, but it's not and I've also tightened the strap to the tightest strap hole. I'm hoping the stretch out a little at the widest part of my foot so it's not irritating and will just have to get used to that slapping sound as I walk. Sounds like I'm not lifting up my feet, but I am! They are cute, and I needed to have a sandal that wraps around my big toe as i have Morton's Neuroma and have had a bunionectomy...so...that's my review.

Super soft leather but for some reason they are awkward to walk in....my foot slips way forward in them. Keeping them but will be cautious about not wearing them for a long day of walking.

I liked the way these looked but I could tell they'd start rubbing around my toe so I sent them back.

I have wide foot and I cannot buckle the strap on these. As others have said my foot also slid forward and the leather did seem very thin.

The shoe was meant for someone with a much thicker foot than mine with more volume. The leather was nice and soft and if it had fit I would have kept it. I usually do not have this problem with Born.

I've wide feet and these shoes were too narrow for me. I really liked the style of the shoes but the quality felt really cheap. The straps were very flimsy and it feels like if I buckled and unbuckled them too many times, the leather would either crack or completely break off. Will be returning these shoes.

So comfortable! Highly recommend. Looking forward to ordering in other colors

Born sandals are the most comfortable sandals! This is my 3rd pair. They’ve got great arch support. And they look so cute!

I love these sandals. I have a slightly wide foot and the medium fit perfectly. They are a soft comfortable leather but also offer good arch support. If they are still in stock I am considering ordering another pair to have for next summer. I have worn these a lot but they still look new.

I usually am 8 or 8 1/2. I have a narrow foot and the 8 fits great! Very comfortable for walking all day.

Love these shoes, Very comfortable, fit true to size. I got the tan ones which transition to fall nicely.

This sandal is great due to it being light weight, leather, stylish, and arch is perfect, especially if you are planning to walk (Amusement park or shopping)

It was a perfect fit like the other two pair I purchased. They arrived on time, were made of quality leather, and the arch is perfect as it is not flat, which ruins your arches.

Perfect fit. The material is very comfortable. The style is not one with arch support and I did not expect any.

Born hit it on the target with this one. Very soft and stylish summer sandal. I can't feel the toe loop at all. I'm not a fan of toe thongs at all, rarely find them in the least bit comfortable, except maybe when they're flat, so i took a chance on this one, mainly because i wanted a sandal in while, and it doesn't bother me at all. I don't feel my foot slipping forward when i walk like some reviewers have described. That being said it is a slightly loose fitting sandal, i would not wear it on a walk in the woods or anything, but for a casual-to-dress summer sandal, i like my strappy summer sandals to fit slightly loosely, as that keeps my feet cooler. As long as they are light and soft and have stripes in the right places to keep the shoe on the foot, it is not a problem for me. The white is a perfect true white, and i just came back for the natural color, as that's the other perfect shade for summer. Again, these are not 'comfort' or hiking shoes in my view, so giving it all five stars for what it's meant to be.
