My favorite Chaco sandal yet! I have high instep and plantar fasciitis, so great arch support is needed anytime I am upright. These are much lighter, easier to adjust by far, and very supportive. My only negative is that the strap that dusts at the ankle is almost to long. By the time I have pulled it tight enough to be a good fit and it is maxed and has a long tail dragging out behind it. That said, I will get another pair in another color this summer.

The rough texture on the bed of these sandals hurt my feet after just a few steps. I've been going barefoot for a lot of the summer so it's not like the bottom of my feet are soft and sensitive. Wearing these all day would have resulted raw feet and a lot of pain.

Having a very narrow foot, I've never found this type of shoe that would fit me, but this one actually does. Love that I can wear them both bare-footed and with socks! They're adjustable and easy to put on, so that's a plus if you're outside getting dirty or wet. I haven't done that yet, so I can't tell you how they'll hold up in those circumstances, but they're well-constructed so I don't see that it will be a problem. The footbed is hard, so that will take some getting used-to. Otherwise, they're great.

All-around great sandals. They're possibly the only sandals I've ever had that were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them traveling without breaking them in first and had no problems whatsoever.

Love me some Chacos! And these are such a cheery summer color. Great arch support. Great for city walks, taking the dog to the beach, or trail walks. I live in them all summer long.

Very comfortable and stylish. Great summer sandal. I have several pairs of Chacos because they are great for my sensitive feet.

I bought this in a weak period. I really didn't need another pair of sandals and thought I would have to send them back as have had trouble with most Chacos. These are fabulous! The footbed is more comfortable than the regular Chaco sandals I have tried and the arch support is great, but not extreme. And the orange is very attractive. Now I have a hard time deciding which sandal to wear...these, Anhu Tilden or my Ecco Yutacan. At least they are all very different comfort/ water sandals! My children both wear Chaco and now I can, too.

Love these shoes, my 10th pair of Chacos, but had to get a size smaller in these!

Love Chaco! Love this style! Although, I do agree with previous reviewers that they do run a little large.

I've been wearing Chacos for over ten years -- some loved, some eh. So far, these are in the loved pile. The orange is much subtler than the pictures -- the video is much more color-accurate. Love the way they look and wear. I'm pretty standard size 8 and they may be a bit long -- I'm not sure if a 7 would have worked, but the straps are still just fine to keep the on tight - but if you're in between sizes, go with the smaller. Definitely recommend.

Color: The orange appeared quite "neon" to me in some of the photographs, but it's actually not that bright, which is nice - I consider it not a bad orange to have on your shoes if you're going to have orange. I was going for the most neutral color I could find. I would prefer something more like a tan/nude with a less casual pattern or a solid so that I can "sneak by" wearing a totally casual shoe with less totally casual clothes. I need arch support, and it is nearly impossible to find in a shoe that is decent for anything besides a camping trip or a dog walk. Plus, I live in a "walking" city. I do love that I can wear Chaco in the rain - most shoes are destroyed or look awful after that, but of course, these are made to function in water. Sizing: I wear a 9, possibly 8.5 in most things, esp sandals, but the 9 for me was a good inch too long. I was afraid I'd trip over them, plus it looked like a poor fit. So I'm going to try an 8. The Chari looks slightly more sleek than the more traditional Chacos. If I get the color and the sizing worked out, I'm sold.

I was disappointed in this sandal. I thought the strap system looked so much better than the original Chaco. It's obvious where you need to pull to adjust which strap, and they move so easily. But I never felt like I had quite the right fit. In order to feel secure, I had to tighten the strap across my toes so that it was cutting off circulation! They're also flimsy - the front kept getting caught under my foot. I'm going back to the original.

This is my first pair of Chaco's. I don't think they are quite as comfortable as I expected given all of the rave reviews for Chaco's, but they are okay. The arches are really high in these. Sole is nice and flexible, though the pattern on the top under my bare foot is a little distracting. Agree that these run half a size too big and the strap is a little long. I tried going a full size down, but then the arch hit my foot in the wrong place. Also, I had assumed there was a buckle, but there is not, so I have to loosen and retighten the straps every time I want to take them on or off, which is annoying.

Bought this sandal to take with me on vacation to Disney World this summer. Wore them around the house for several hours and they felt fine; a little high in the arch, but I figured the extra support would be a good thing. Wore them out for short periods before we left for vacation; again, still felt somewhat high in the arch, but they were tolerable and again I thought the high arch would be beneficial during long days at the theme parks. Unfortunately, the day I chose to wear these to the parks turned into a day of misery for me! My feet hurt horribly by mid-afternoon. The arches are *way*, *way* too high. By the end of the day I literally had swelling and bruising over the entire arch of each foot from these shoes! The rest of the week I had no choice but to wear tennis shoes because my feet were so sore. I think my feet and arches are pretty average and I have never had trouble with any other shoes before. This is the first pair of Chacos I have ever owned; while I did appreciate the water-friendliness of these shoes, from now on they will be relegated to pool-only shoes for me. These shoes might be ideal for individuals with high arches, but I do not recommend them for anyone with an average foot.
