I bought a pair of these in green and loved them so much, I bought another pair in grey and am about to buy some in khaki. I'm 5'6", 125lbs, 27" waist and the size 2 fit perfectly. I've worn them hiking (and crawling!) through the desert, full of stickers and thorns, with only a frayed thread on the knee to show for it. I also have worn them hiking in the mountains, and they handled pushing through brush and trees without a scratch. They dry very quickly and have defied staining from mud, blood, coffee, food, and random kid goo. I actually slipped and slid down a steep and sandy hillside on my rear a week after I bought my grey pair. A jagged tree stump hooked me, and though the pants ripped, they only tore a few inches and the rest of the fabric was strong enough to stop my slide and keep me hooked to the stump by my pants, which was admittedly comical, but I was grateful that I didn't continue plummeting to the ground. These pants are durable. I was upset that they were destroyed, but Zappos happily replaced them, which is astounding. I am forever a devoted customer. Style-wise, they have a little stretch in them and are very flattering. I wear them everywhere and having several inseam options is fantastic - I have a 33" inseam, so the average 32" inseams are always just a bit too short. I got the 36" with the intentions of having them hemmed, but in the meantime, rolling them once has worked just fine. There is an inner drawstring tie that's a little awkward, but I suppose could be useful if I need a little tighter fit at the waist. Otherwise I just ignore it. I was worried initially about the seams because the threads on the end of the knee pleats frayed a bit, but after months of abuse, the frayed ends never got worse and the seams have all held up. It's hard for women to find pants that fit perfectly, and I'm thrilled that I found these!
