I am obsessed with these shoes. I love the look and comfort of these shoes. I love them so much that I have purchased three pairs so far, I have two pairs in Black and a pair in Petunia. I am going to order another pair soon once I decide what color I should order next. They are so comfortable and they look great on. I have never had a pair of flat shoes that have felt and looked this good. I constantly get compliments on these shoes. They will run out of these shoes soon as everyone I know is buying a pair. I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for comfort with style.

I don’t write many reviews, so if I take the time, it’s because I’ve finally found a product I like! I have tried Tieks (great once finally broken in, murder on the feet until then) Lucky, Ugg, Naturalizer, Rothys, Root Collective, Toms, Yosi Samra, Tory Burch, and pretty much any other ballet-type flats you can think of. After comparing them all, these Born flats are, by-far, the most comfy out of the box! They do actually have some arch support (without having that “grandma”-like thick sole or anything. While I don’t usually love the fabric trim around the edges, these are hardly noticeable, yet do add in a lot of comfort to the places several flats have a tendency to rub raw, at first. These are my faves, and I’m ordering them in more colors ASAP!

I absolutely love these shoes! I have them in Navy and Panna Cotta. I have wide toes and a narrow heel, so although I need a wide shoe, the heel sometimes slips—that doesn’t happen with these shoes. The elastic around the shoe keeps it snugly on my foot, and these shoes are soft and comfortable. One thing about the Navy color; it isn’t really a navy blue—it’s lighter than navy, more like a French blue. I love the color, though. Panda Cotta is also a terrific color, somewhere between silver and pewter. I like these shoes so much that I just ordered two more pairs, Noche (Tan) and Black.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I loved the first pair and wore them for a couple years without any issues. But on this pair, the stitching along the top is coming apart after only a few months of wear. VERY disappointed given the price.

I ordered wide width and they didn’t feel wide at all. Very disappointing. In addition to that the inside of the shoe was marked with a pen stating that it was wide width. I will attach a pic of it. I have NEVER seen anything like it. The “M” was crossed of and a “W” was marked next to that. Seemed very odd to me.

I wear a 9 or 9½ and got these in a 9 in Purple. They fit perfectly, look very nice, and are possibly the most comfortable, pillow like shoes that I have ever worn. Moreover, these are the only flats that I have ever purchased that offer arch support. I first tried the comparable flats in Frye (the Carson) and they offered zero support and were not high quality so I returned them. These shoes are miles above the Frye shoes, soft quality leather, and less expensive. I have lots of shoes, designer and otherwise, and this is the only pair of shoes that I have had for a decade (other than Ferragamos which were gifted to me) is a pair of Born wedge sandals that hold up like new. Thumbs up.

I guess I should realize by now that I have "bad feet," so my experience may not be the same as everyone's, but I will give my opinion. I am 34 years old with size 11 feet, wear flats every day to my office job. First the uppers on the shoe are excellent. With flats, I usually have a lot of trouble with rubbing at the heel, to the point where my heels bleed. Or at the widest part of my foot under my toes there is bad rubbing that causes a sore or callous. These shoes have a stretchy opening, so they are extremely comfortable around the heel and top of the foot. No sore spots or having to wear Band-Aids. However, the problem is the sole. It is so thin you feel like you are wearing nothing. My feet actually hurt at the end of the day, and the front of my toe is sore as though I have stubbed it. Not sure what is causing that. Also if you have weak ankles at all, there is really no support but that is pretty common with ballet flats. For me I would have to get a pretty supportive insert to be able to wear these regularly. Someone who doesn't have foot issues might not have a problem. I was so happy with the uppers on this shoe that I am really disappointed the soles are so flimsy and unsupportive. I continue on with my search for a comfortable pair of black flats!

On the one hand - the softest, most comfortable flats. On the other: that part on the back, that raises above the ankle is SO stiff, it hurt so much that I thought I wouldn't be able to wear them. My husband said: "You need to soften it by pressing and twisting and beating up that part for a while." So I did, for about 20 minutes. I am so happy I tried it - leather became super soft and comfortable. I LOVE these flats.

I really like these shoes. This is my second pair, and they are super comfortable. However the mid brown is darker in the picture than in person, hence losing a star.

Granny shoes. Made me feel frumpy and I'm too young to feel that old. I returned them.

I wish I had known that these shoes run large. I ordered my usual size 7 and they were too big. I returned them, hoping to purchase a 6.5 but they do not have them in stock. I'm so dissapointed. I read the reviews before I made my purchase but no one was clear about whether or not they ran large. I hope to be able to purchase my size soon once they are in stock. The shoe looks and felt great but I won't know for sure until I am able to actually wear them.

I wear size 9 or 9.5. My last purchase of Born shoes were ankle booties and I needed a 9. However, in these shoes, the 9.5 fit perfectly. The shoe has a padded arch support and is really comfortable! I like them and was happy they fit so well.

Comfortable right out of the box and perfect fit! I have a somewhat narrow heel (usually do better with a narrow in flats but wear a medium in most shoes), size 8. The medium in these fits fine. Borns usually fit me great because it seems like they run on the narrow side. My other flats were starting to hurt my heel in one spot where the edge of the shoe hits. These come up a bit higher on my heel, which is perfect. The leather on these shoes is soft and flexible with a bit of elastic around the edge, so it seems like they would conform to different size feet. Great idea! They're so comfortable. I've worn them for a day at work, and they're starting to rub a bit on my heel and pinky toe, but I think that's because they're brand new. The style is a bit plain, but worth it for the comfort. Wish they came in more interesting colors!

These shoes are exactly what I had hoped for. They are super comfy and actually have an insole unlike most ballet flats on the market, and they don't show toe cleavage. The orangey color makes a great neutral and goes with almost anything. Worth every penny and then some!

Just received my fourth pair in navy. I still find this style to be one of the most comfortable shoes in my closet. Great for men or women. Its simple design gives it a nice unisex look.

This was my first Born flat shoe purchase & it will not be my last. In fact, I just ordered another pair in pewter. These are the most comfortable flats I've ever worn. I recently broke my ankle, had surgery and although I can no longer wear "high heels" flats often don't provide enough support but these are perfect! My new fav shoe!

Love this flat. I have wide feet and bunions, so comfortable flats are hard for me find. I tried other expensive brands and by far Born flats are the best! These flats cover my bunions and stretched out nicely. I will be buying more in different colors.

I ordered the color 'Panna Cotta Metallic' which showed as a rosy opalescent silver in the pictures posted by Zappos. What came was a weird mottled color with a huge swatch of metallic on the toe box. The quality seems fine but I bought them for the color which turned out to be not so good.

Amazing pair of shoes! I did have to order a half size down. (Usually I am a 7-7.5, and the 7 is a bit loose.) Love my gold pair. I have been wearing them almost every day since I got them, so probably need to buy a few other pairs. They are comfortable and stylish, and I can walk around all day without my feet hurting from wearing flats. I have 3-4 Born pairs from the last year or two, but this is definitely my favorite. Zappos customer service was very helpful in exchanging my 7.5 for a 7.

I just bought the dark brown in this style. When these arrived they seemed a little bit smaller than my other pairs of Born Juliannes. However, they seem to be stretching out to fit my feet and should be OK. This is my third pair of this shoe; I own in black and dark brown now. It continues to be my favorite and most comfortable shoe. Great for men or women.

I bought these in the blue and absolutely love these shoes! Comfort fit right out of the box with no break in period. I have a bunion on one foot and this soft supple leather stretches and does not put any pressure on the joint. I am a school secretary and on my feet a lot. I can wear these all day and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I highly recommend this shoe.

Excellent shoe, and have received many compliments. Really like Born's fit and arch support, especially the boots/shoeties. For the most part, it's almost like going barefoot; I forget I'm wearing them -- except toward the end of a long day. This shoe has a thin sole, and my feet really hurt if I've been standing/walking a lot in them.

Nice shoe - didn't suit my feet, but might work for you. I have a large foot - size 11, wide, very flat, plus bunions, so finding ballet flats that fit is a trial and error process. Often a size 11 is too long but a 10.5 is too short (though B width usually works in an 11). Because I love ballet flats, I keep trying! I ordered the 11 in this shoe and was surprised it ran short - my toes were bumping right up at the end. Also, the toe box was a bit snug. You might want to try both your regular size a half-size up (11.5 isn't offered or I'd try it). All that said, I like the look of this shoe and if it works for your foot, I think you'll find it comfy and cute. It has a bit of arch support and a nice, cushy insole. I ordered the silver which also has notes of gold/copper. It these had fit I would've kept 'em.
