The front material tends to fade after sweeting with just a few times of use. the fit and finish of the cap is awsome. Like a fine wine only gits better with age. after a few washes the cap molds to your head and is very comfortable. Great cap would not think twice about not wearing out on the water for the day, cause with the mesh back it is very cool. Keep up the good work Columbia.

My new hat is very nice stayed on my head in strong winds like there no velcro to stick to the hood of my jacket and Ihave received complements on it as well

Build quality of this hat was very good. Materials and stitching were also very good. But, keep in mind that even though it is FlexFit it still needs to be worn/broken in a bit to become really comfortable.

This cap is great! Sizing chart was spot on. The hat breathes well on warm days, and provides good protection from the sun.

It was a nice hate for a while but after about 2 months of owning it and only wearing it every once in a while all the letter just fall right off

The word "man" is not in the description but it is designed for a man's head. The circumference was fine (horizontal measurement above eyebrows going around the head) but it was so puffy on top I felt as though I should start "rapping" (80's style for singers of rap music.) I am sure this is a great cap for a man and I only wish the description had "male" or "man" in it. Sometimes things do not fit properly but like most people I keep them because it is easier than trying to get things to fit perfectly but this is too hilarious for me to wear...must return. :(

The fit and comfort of this hat are great. It's one of my most comfortable ball caps, but it stains so badly if you sweat in it. It's definitely not meant to be worn in the Texas heat. It's gotten so bad, I only wear it when I'm fishing or mowing the lawn and don't care how I look. I'd recommend going with grays if you sweat a lot.

Runs a little small for my big head.

The review of two hats. I bought a black one and a blue hat. On the black hat it fits perfect and looks good due to my mother in law cutting the fitted band and re-sewing (due to me having a small head and it fits good). On to the blue hat. I noticed that the non netted portion of the hat (the front where the logo is) that there is a big bulging outer protrusion on it which makes it look a little big for my pea sized head, but on the other side it does not. Other than the measurements of the fabric being a little off the hat is done what it is made for and that is to wear it. Just thought I'd FYI you people who tend to make "sure" purchases on reviews. It's pretty much luck of the draw on consistency of the look of the hat, unless you have a big head then it doesn't matter.

Happy with the hat, not happy how i go the hat in a bag. The hat came in flat and the brim got ruined and its taking some time to get it back to normal. If you get a hat from them, try and make sure that you get a box and not a bag so your hat doesnt get ruined.

Hat was not well made, many mistakes in production.

I hate that some hats fit better than others, even though it's the same exact style.. it should fit the same way every time you order. Plus the the brim of hat is a little sideways, so I have to turn hat to side so it will look straight.... very Annoying

Be warn that when you sweat the color of the hat will bleed. I bought a black one and a light grey one and they both have the same issue. Not really a good hat to wear if you are going to be doing any kind of activities where you might sweat a lot.

Great looking cap. Unfortunately, the L/XL size is really, really big. FWIW, I'm 6'3" with a normal sized head (or so I've thought 'till now).

I have a lot of Columbia clothes and have always been happy; however I bought this hat about 2 months ago and only wear it on the weekends and now the color is fading making the hat look bad. If your looking for a quality hat I hate to say this but keep looking.

I have been buying these hats for years, because I love the way that they fit and the selection of colors they offer. The problem is, once you wear them outdoors and actually sweat in them a little bit, they develop sweat stains which in turn severely discolors the fabric along the seam where the bill and the cap are joined. This is not a typical sweat stain that can be washed out, the fabric actually fades from the contact with sweat. If you want to spend money for a nice looking hat, be prepared to throw it away after a week or two of use. After that amount of time the hat will look horrible because they are not made to last, at all! I have included pictures, all of these hats have been washed, so this is what is left once all the sweat stains have been washed out.

Very nice hat to wear on cool/Cloudy-days only.Im very disappointed wearing them on sunny/hot days once you sweat just forget about that nice hat the color will fade.

Barely bigger than an XL. Waste of money. Completely disappointed with the fit

I wore this hat on a two day fishing trip and at the end of the trip it was no longer black it was more or less brown with streaks of black where it faded.

I bought this for the XXL size that was advertised. It came in and runs smaller than advertised. Would not buy again.
