I purchased these to run on the treadmill at the new gym at work and also transition to workplace shoes if needed (I'm a surgeon). I typically run outside in Boroks Green Silence Or Pure Drift (both also purchased from Zappos) and found the Air Max a great choice for the harder bounce of the mill. I bought a have size bigger than my usual size (which I do for all my running shoes) and these accommodate my wide forefoot and long second toes perfectly. Would definitely recommend as a versatile cardio shoe.

I love these Nike's. I tried numerous styles of Nike athletic shoes and could not find ones that felt comfortable, or that looked good on my feet. To my surprise, these are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. They have just the right amount of cushioning -- they are not flat but don't put any pressure on my arch, which is important to me as I am prone to cramping in that area. They breathe very well during hot summer days. I don't run or workout in these, so can't comment on that, but they are absolutely perfect for running errands in the city. As for sizing - they run very true to size. There seems to be good amount of toe room so if you're debating on ordering a size up (since Nike's tend to run small), I don't think you would need to in this particular shoe.

I bought these to jump start my walking regimen. They are very light weight on top but it still has a very supporting sole.

I wear these primarily for walking - approximately 4 miles per day - and trips to the gym. They have more cushioning and support than the less expensive models I've purchased in the past. Hoping that they will last longer, too.

I love these shoes! I needed a bigger toe box and a special shoe designed for my "underpronation" so that when I walk or jog, my feet are comfortable and no nails will fall off (gross!) These shoes are stylish and I get complements on them all the time- not obnoxiously bright, and very pretty.

I got these shoes to wear when I am on my feet all day (I work in a hospital). They are incredibly comfortable and have a ton of cushion and support. They minimized the back pain that I usually have after being on my feet all day. I am usually an 8 in sneakers and a 7½ in flats and other shoes. These fit perfectly in an 8 for me.

I love these shoes! They do all that they are supposed to. The also breathe nicely. Just love them and would recommend them to anyone! Cute looking too!

A truly good Nike choice - the Max Air Nike. I have troublesome feet and these were comfortable right out of the box. 9 1/2 Med. I am "of an age" and wanted comfort plus jazzy colors! I got the bright pink/black and just ordered the red. Who says you can't be "cool" when older. These are a close runner up to my older, full length Nike air. Of course it's all about personal choice, but with arthritis in the feet, these work for me. Thumbs up! Thanks to Zappos for carrying them!

I love these Nike Air Max shoes. I think that they look stylish but also have a lot of cushion with the air in the heel. The toe box gives me a lot of room, where some of the other Nikes have run narrow for me.

I purchase the grey version of this shoe and loved it! It lasted about 4 months with moderate walking. I have a heel spur and need the extra cushion. The black version lasted only a month. Very disappointed that only a color change would cause a quality change of this pricy shoe. I give this color an overall 1 star because it didn't last as long as the grey version.
