Just received this pack, well built. with quality I've come to expect from Frye. I will use it for years to come!

This bag is amazing! I have been looking for a nice all leather backpack for a while and even though this one is expensive, I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did because I love it! Yes, it's a bit heavy (to be expected though with all leather) but it has the perfect amount of pockets in all the right places. I got the color Slate and it doesn't have the logo on the outside or the little dangling metal logo but I like that it doesn't show the brand name - it does have the little embossed symbol at the bottom corner of the bag. I carry it daily and am very happy with my purchase. I expect it it last a long time. :)

As an educator, I needed something that was durable, operation along with wanting a bag that was stylish as well. Needless to say, this bag has it all and not to mention it comes w/ compliments. My only notch with this bad is that I have to readjust the straps every so often to reach the comfortable level I want on my shoulders.

I bought this for a diaper bag, and while I have not used it yet it has so many pockets to put things in I think it will work out perfect. It has pockets everywhere and all good sized to where they are actually useable.

I'm a 5ft college student and this backpack can sometimes be overwhelmingly big, but I love all the compartments and the quality of this backpack. The only set back is that the leather needs time to break in and "mold" to your body and that the straps won't stay adjusted. If you can overlook the straps sliding to longer lengths, this backpack is amazing.

Within 3 weeks of using my bag some seams began to split- one near the handle and one near the base of the back strap. It's. A beautiful bag but quality doesn't seem to match price.

I received this bag as a gift from my wife a little over a year ago. The interior lining of the rear most pouch tore within a few months and the strap attachment point on the right shoulder strap is coming loose. I would have expected more from a back of this price range. The bag works well functionally and looks great aside from these items.

I absolutely the love backpack. Hate it has issues. They took great care of problem. I tried 3 Backpacks and within 1 the stitching on straps was tearing. So sad I didn't get to keep this beauty.

The picture shows the bag after two months of normal usage. I usually just carry my laptop with it.

I purchased my first pair of FRYE boots in 1974 and in going on a HALF A CENTURY I've ALWAYS worn FRYE ! I've bought them for my wife and she's always loved them as well. As a gift, (after my father passed), I was given this brown leather backpack. Initially, I was ecstatic about it because of my love of FRYE leather and its design met all of my needs at work (I work in software). THE FIRST WEEK I used it I was complimented on its looks and I boasted about the FRYE products, in depth, to everyone in my office building. On the second week I was shocked to notice that the stitches on the left strap was loosely in AND upon giving my bag a inspection (because of the strap) I was shocked to find out that there is ABSOLUTELY NO STITCHING AT ALL IN OVER 3 INCHES IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT SIDE!! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed then AND NOW when I bring it up! It was a sentimental gift and I can't even bring myself to tell them why I no longer use it! Unless one knew the circumstances, and the FRYE products I've purchased over the years, you couldn't understand the depth of this. I NEVER expected this from FRYE but it happened! I just wish my bag was "held together" with the same stitches as the many FRYE boots I've bought over the years! I , also, wish they "stood by" such products ,(with lifetime customers ,such as I have been), BUT that is something, (I've been told), that THEY DON'T DO! Nevertheless, I had to post an opinion of my experience with this FRYE backpack ! I am DISAPPOINTED !
