To all you 5½ sized gals out there, the Blundstone Kids size 3 will fit you perfectly! I tried the smallest adult size and they were way too big, even with thick socks and extra insoles. I love these so much I bought them in both the rustic brown and black. They are super comfortable out of the box with no break-in period. I live in New York City, so having comfortable shoes is a priority for all the walking we do here. There is lots of room in the toe box, which is ok by me. My toes feel free with all of that extra room!

I am usually a women's size 5 so the 3 was a great fit at a great price. I put shoe inserts in these to make them more comfortable, and they have been a fall/winter staple. Great in all kinds of weather and I love the chelsea boot look. Would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a durable boot with a cool classic look.

First of all, a big THANKS to the woman with size 5.5 feet who reviewed these. I'm the same size and have been trying for years to find a pair of Blunnies small enough for me - and now I've found them in the kids' department! I was so happy with the black ones out of the box that I immediately ordered a second pair in burgundy, and will do the same in brown when they come back in stock. Love my new Blunnies, love Zappos, and love the helpful reviews that pointed me in this direction!

I wear a small women's size 5 and ordered the kid's size 3 and size 2. Kept the size 3 and can still fit a Superfeet arch support insole in them and my toes have PLENTY of room. They're pretty flat without added arch support. A bit on the money side for children's shoes.

I’m a 5.5 in women’s and after reading all the reviews I ended up going for the Australian kids 3. These fit great. I had enough room to add the soles and wear thick socks with my boots.

I'd also like to say a big thank you to the 5-5 1/2 sized women who reviewed these -- your reviews helped tremendously! I'm actually normally a 6 ladies (medium), so I ordered the smallest adult ladies Blunnie that there is -- OMG, CLOWN FEET -- and SO BIG! So based on these reviews, I tried the Big Kid 3. I'll be honest...I could use a smidge more overall length, but the shoe itself is pretty wide, so my toes have ample room. I also knew that I really wanted to wear these with tights (with a dress) or thinner socks for work, so it's OK. I was skeptical the first couple of wearings (like, these really are too short, what did I just do?!), but I put them on today to run some errands, and now I've just worn them all day, even to do my Sunday housework, too (so very, very little breaking in needed). The cool thing about the kids version of this is that you get a nice little removable, washable insert that I don't believe came with the adult version. I'd really, really like to grab these in another color, too. These have been a nice step up from the Doc Martens that I've favored in the past.

Adding one for the size 5 1/2 women out there. These in a UK 3 kids fit perfectly and are comfy and, even though unlined, totally warm with thin wool socks. I’m on my feet all day for work and these are comfortable. Thankful to all the other small-footed women who left reviews!

Love that I can get a kids shoe that is made just like the adult shoe! I am a size 4.5/5 (adult) and unfortunately, size 3 was too big, but I just re-ordered in a size 2.

Not much arch support, but that being said I still find them comfortable. Have been wearing them everyday for months when I take my dogs in the woods or on the street. Easy on and off.

These are really comfortable right out of the box. More lightweight than I was expecting, but they look good and are versatile for dressing up or down. I am a child-sized adult and wanted something that looked grown up. These have gotten me compliments!

I’m a woman’s US size 6, but the woman’s 510 and 550 styles don’t fit right in the AUS size 3. They’re the right length, but they’re too loose so I have to add an arch support. With that, they are too tight on my left foot by the metatarsal, and rub against my pinky toe. They are also very tight on my Achilles heel and rub them, which hurts. These, however, are perfect! They’re loose also, but with the same arch support they are perfect. No rubbing on the pinky or heel, great support, comfortable, and look great. I wish they made the kids version in more styles, like there lug and the 550!

High-quality, supportive shoes that you can tell will be extremely comfortable when the leather breaks in

Love these shoes! I have worn them in completely. I've used them as my everyday shoes when I want to feel like dressing up a little more. I was surprised that they also hold up really well when it rains. I've owned them for over a year and they still look great. I highly recommend them.

Great little shoe, worth the price! We had tried Doc Martens and they did not hold up, and the Native booties seemed too thin for our PNW winters. The Blundstones are a nice quality leather, and they are warm enough for Fall and Winter. My daughter typically wears a size 11, but we went with the 12 because she said the 11 pinched her pinky toe a little. She has regular width feet. Happy with the 12's, as they are not too big when she walks and runs, and we hope we'll be able to squeeze an extra season out of these since we went up in size a bit. They go great with jeans as well as certain dresses worn with leggings. Super cute!

I was pleasantly surprised by the fit. I'm one of those 5-51/2 sized women and already had a brown pair of Blunnies. The new black pair has a more substantial sole. All good.

These are cool little boots and my daughter loves wearing them. She said her pinky toe felt a little pinched in her size, so we sized up one size and they don’t feel too loose but do have some room to grow. Nice soft leather and lighter and more supple than expected. Expensive, but if they hold up to our PNW fall and winter they’ll be worth it.

Fantastic boots at last! I wear a 4.5 U.S. and 2 EU shoe and boot; and have gone through 7 pairs of boots to find a pair that truly fit. The quality seems good (haven't worn them but an hour), the fit is right on and not too narrow, and I like the boot sole as it absorbs (to a degree) impact with the ground. I'm thrilled!

I buy these shoes every year for my kids for school. They are the best school shoes ever. They last all year and still look fantastic by the end of the year. My kids can’t destroy them. Most I have ever had to do is add a little bit of shoe polish. I own a pair myself and after 7 Chicago winters they are still going strong. They are worth every penny. I normally don’t review anything but I cannot say enough about these shoes.

These are about the cutest shoes your toddler will ever wear. I ordered them for my three-year-old son for a wedding in San Francisco (he's the ring bearer), but he couldn't wait to put them on, so he's been wearing them to spring graduation parties. They are not only stylish but practical: so well fitting that he can run and jump to his heart's content. Expensive, yes, but versatile and extremely well made, so they're completely worth it. I love them so much I'll be ordering another pair when he outgrows these for everyday use in the colder weather for years to come!

We've discovered that this design isn't optimal for high insteps and wide feet. My son struggles to get in these rain boots because the goring is very tight, but we haven't found any alternatives that fit him. A note here: the goring is tight in many brands, but we discovered that Deer Stags is one exception. Once his feet are in, he says they fit fine. Not a favorite, but he works his way into them on days with heavy rain.

I loved this shoe and it was wonderfully comfortable-- except for the spot where the front gusset, the upper, and the lining all came together in a lump of stitching directly over the tender bony bump at the top of my instep, causing me excruciating pain. Bummer.
