Really great shorts. Compression but they don't make the bottom of your thigh bulge like you've squeezed into something too small. They don't ride up and they are not see through. I have several pairs that I use to ride my bike and run in. I just slip a skirt over the top when I get to my destination.

Good length, comfortable, nice waist band that flatters. Legs don't ride up. Happy with my purchase.

I bought these shorts for lifting and running as I find most others a bit too short (I am 5'10") and they are perfect. They stay in place and are the right length to prevent any chafing. I was unsure about what size to get due to the tightness of the fit but my normal size seemed to work perfectly - I would say they are true to size. Probably my favorite piece of workout kit at the moment - they wash well (though I have been hand washing them after each work out they look like they will be fine in a washing machine too) and hold their shape.

These are great! I was concerned at first because they do not have a tie at the waist - but no worries - they stay up wash after wash. They give great support and are comfortable to spin/cycle in. I bought a second pair.

These are soft, fit perfectly - and they don't ride up! What else can you ask for? I bought two pair and will probably get more.

Love 'em! I got these shorts to wear under skirts...while bike commuting (note: they are not traditional bike shorts). They work perfectly for this. I ordered a Med. I'm 5'7", 138#. Just got 2 more pair.

A++ for practicality, comfort and price. Anyone who works out should have a pair of these! Fit is true to size and as others have mentioned these will not ride up!

These are the best available compression shorts for running and gym use. They are light weight, have a pocket, and have no annoying zipper in the back that digs into your skin when doing mat work. I wish they would still make the slightly longer length. Like the wide waist band.

BUY THESE SHORTS. Fit: I bought a medium. 5'7", 145, and I carry all my weight in my upper half. My butt is as flat as a pancake and I have chicken legs. These are just slightly longer than where my middle finger hits my thigh with my arms at my sides. Getting into them the first time was a bit like stuffing a sausage. If you are bottom heavy, you might consider buying your normal size and a size up (thank you Zappos). You cannot see through them. Function: I ran four miles in these in 85F weather and I will now never run in any other shorts. No chafing, no riding up, happy muscles. And I stayed as cool as one can stay in 85F/sunny. Style: These will not win you any beauty contests. If you are tall, I'd suggest a longer shirt (I paired it with the fly-by tank, and I'd even prefer something an inch or two longer). I gave them 5 stars for style anyway because they are so freaking functional. If anyone from UA is reading this, I'd love these in gray.

I ran in my 1st race and got chafed in my inner thighs. I got on Zappos and ordered these shorts on a Wednesday. They came in on Thursday. They fit great & I have not had any trouble with chafing.

Love these shorts. I just switched to wearing these type of short for running. Love that this give support in the stomach area...also I am pretty tall (5'8 1/2") and these are long enough for me. They also don't ride up. I bought three different types of these in March and this was the pair that I liked the best so I ordered a second pair. I am either an 8 or 10 and I ordered a large so they would not be super tight.

I got these to wear for my second Tough Mudder next month. I am looking forward to seeing how they perform but I am confident that they will be good. I wore 3" Adidas Team Performance Compression volleyball shorts last year and they worked well but were just barely long enough for me to feel fully comfortable. I got a large in these and they fit perfectly; I wear an 8-10 in most pants and have 43" hips and 29" waist. They are just long enough to cover my larger thighs comfortably and they do not feel like they will ride up at all.

Fit true to size and very comfortable. Great under running shorts if you like an extra layer of moisture wicking or have larger thighs and shorts ride up. These don't ride up at all. Light enough for summer and warm enough for winter. I have the Under Armour "boy short" cut of these and they are great as well.

I bought these to try using when I swim laps. I didn't know how well they would work. They actually are just what I wanted. They stay up and they don't chafe. I've been using them for a few weeks now and so far they are holding up fine. I don't know what the long term effect of the chlorine will be on them. All suits break down over time, hopefully these will last as long as a regular swimsuit does.

I like these shorts. I tend to like under armour products. These are well made and are holding up.

Perfect for high intensity interval training. They stay put and don't crawl up or down. Lightweight and comfortable.

Selected these 7" shorts to wear for running/racing for better mobility and to be cooler, wearing over capris. I have thick thighs, so I did chafe right above my knee when I first wore them for a half marathon. That was my fault, as I should have used body glide there. I also noticed the sweat stains afterwards. Not pleased with that, but they are comfortable, and I'm still satisfied overall.

When the description says compression, it means it! I had a little minor lower back surgery about a week before I got these to wear. They were tight enough that it made the surgery spot hurt since it was pulling the skin. However, I could push them down and it worked fine. They're really pretty excellent. My only gripe is that the key pocket is a little awkward to use. But, having a key pocket is wonderful!

These shorts are great for the gym. I'm a size 6-8 and got the size medium. They're dark enough and there's no seeing through. I use them as regular workout clothes (not under shorts/pants) and think they're fine. I only with they were 1-2 inches longer.

I use these for running regularly, and really like them. I had originally purchased them to wear underneath other running shorts, but it was too many layers so I wear them on their own. They are compression, so don't buy them thinking that they'll be loose. They are tight, but not uncomfortable, and they stay in place while moving.

These shorts are justo kay. They have a weirdly located seamabout 3in from the top. And while the legs fit fine, the waist is a little large. On the plus side they stay in place and the legs don't roll up.

These are comfortable and good tight fitting shorts but they are NOT true compression shorts. I was very hopeful to find compression shorts for a low price but there is no compression webbing or support in these which true compression shorts provide. I will not send them back and wear them for some workouts but if you are buying them as compression shorts (if you are a runner and want true compression) these are not labeled correctly.

Chafing alert! I was excited to try these compression shorts since they're not booty shorts. I'm a woman of size (Xl) but still run and need something for warm weather. Alas, these are not my favorite. I've worn them on a few runs (with different undies each time to make sure it's not the undies) and the seams tend to chafe. So heat+running+sweating+these shorts=ouch! Ok for days when it's not terribly hot or I'm running 3 miles or less. But not for long runs without painful consequences... Otherwise they do seem a nice heavy quality. They are a slick type fabric.

These run small. I usually wear size Med in workout/yoga pants. I took them out of the box, and I knew that looking at them that they would be too small.
