I was a bit concerned by the other poor reviews but after wearing these shoes for a couple of weeks, I'm pleased with the purchase. The shoes are just as light as 'barefoot' style shoes but much more supportive. The shoes are more vibrant in person and are astoundingly light and breathable. I'll wear these a lot but wonder how durability will be given the ultra-light build. Recommended!

This shoe is a great value for a basic running shoe. It is not very durable, I've had mine for about 5 months, ~150 total miles on flat surfaces. I took them for two trail runs and the left forefoot started to separate from the sole. Surprising that construction is not stronger! But, I'll try some shoe glue or order another pair as the price is dropping.

This is the second pair I've purchased. I bought the first pair a couple of weeks prior and wanted to get another before the styles changed. I was shocked at how different the shoe felt from the first pair I ordered. They felt a full size smaller and a couple of letters narrower than the previous pair. I was stunned. I bought the shoes because they were inexpensive and I was tired of paying $125 for shoes. If you buy a pair, try them on and be prepared to ask for an RMA. The first pair feels good, and I wear them. The second pair will be sailing back to Zappos soon. I am giving the the shoe an average rating because the first pair was fine, the second dragged the first pair down in the rankings.

I bought these shoes based on the name, price and reviews. I am disappointed with the comfort and support level provided by these shoes. These are decent but you can feel every rock under your feet. I like more support. I have take these out on two trail runs so far. Maybe better for just around town. 3 stars.

I will only buy New Balance, my feet hurt with anything else. I will have to agree with a previous poster who said that these are half size too small. However, my feet were fine in them. This model sports very this mesh that does dry rather quickly, I have not had them long enough to determine durability. The price was certainly right. The ankle cuff is lower than I like, again though, I think it will just take some getting used to. I discovered these through the Zappos app, and I am going to be buying from Zappos for quite awhile. Thanks, Zappos!

None. New Balance only!

Normally, I take a size 9EE. This shoe was too wide & the left shoe actually was slightly longer than the right (my left foot is larger than my right). The tongue does not have an eye loop to thread the laces thru it, to maintain the tongue in its proper position. The glue used to hold the sole to the uppers was showing on the uppers. I almost always wear New Balance trail shoes because they have wide widths, which usually are true to size. This one was not up to the normal quality and fit.

Too narrow. Not a 4E. What happened New Balance? For years your shoes fit me very well. Now all of them are too narrow.

It is 4R but narrower than other 4E NB shoes I have worn so my toes get pinched. Not ideal for wide forefooted people.

I did order these but have only had them a little over 30 days and the tread is starting to fall off already. One of the lace holes has also torn. Overall very comfortable but lack quality.

These New Balance Shoes look great, however only three months in and the mesh at the top of the sneak is ripping. Not very well made. Unfortunately I purchased two of the same model in different color combinations...same thing with the other pair

Lightweight, and not too garish in appearance...but the soles felt too "foamy" in a cheap sort of way. Didn't feel comfortable for me with some test walking around the house.

Love how this shoe feels. Love how it looks. But on day 3 of wearing them, the tongues are slipping off to the outside. They do not have a mid tongue slot to cross threaded laces, which exacerbates the problem.

This is not a trail shoe. I have hiked trails for many years, wearing, mostly, NB 10.5, 4E's. There is little to no cushioning, which I would think would be important. I hiked 4.6 miles on mostly gravely trails, some rocky areas, and the bottoms of my feet have never hurt so bad after a hike, and still two days later, my feet feel it. Nice looking shoe, probably a good just hanging out shoe, but, certainly not a shoe for walking in for very long.

I have worn many New Balance shoes; these are by far the worse New Balance shoes I have ever put on. Very surprised they are called New Balance.

I usually love New Balance, but these shoes didn't even last 5 months. Poor use of materials. Not anywhere near the most comfortable New Balance either.

I should have listened to the other reviews. I am loyal NB buyer over 20 years. A 10.5 4E is my size, maybe an 11 from time to time. This 10.5 4E was not even close. Once I took out of the box I could tell. Maybe an 8 C would be closer sizing. Checked the inside of the shoe. Way way off. Going to have to go to the New Balance Chicago Orland Park store which I hate to do but have to try on before I buy something again. If NB sizing is lost, I'm in trouble no one else comes close. Disappointing.

I had just about given up on New Balance after they changed sizing a couple of years ago. I ordered these shoes and they are light weight and reasonably comfortable, but with out the old "fit like a glove feel". After 5 runs, not very challenging runs at that, the tongue on one the shoes came out. Either the tongues had been glued in (yuck) or the stitching was so pure that there is no longer any evidence of it. What a disappointment to see a great product so completely take a dump. No more New Balance for me.

I was not happy with this particular shoe. When it arrived it appeared to have been returned before...things happen....the other pair I ordered were great!

I bought these for my 9 year old son, who wears a wide shoe, they lasted 7 days before the end cap on the toe started splitting and now look months old. We always buy New Balance and never had this trouble. Lucky for us Zappos Customer Service is amazing! With boys we go through a lot of shoes, most of them New Balance because they offer wide.

First off let me say I love New Balance shoes, I own many pairs. These shoes are very comfortable and have great traction. I wanted to love these shoes too but the left one is falling apart. I have only had them for a little over a month and they currently have only been used in a gym. I hope that this was an isolated incident.
