These boots are hot! I love them so much. That said I must admit that I had to send 2 pairs back for defects so I think they might not be the best quality. I do think they run a tad big so I ordered a 7.5 instead of my usual 8.

Love these boots! Worn them to a couple TCU football games this year and get tons of compliments! Very comfy and perfect Horned Frog purple!

This makes my 3rd pair of Dan post boots. I have 1 pair of sheepers that I wish I would have brought from Dan Post instead. This boot has very soft leather and the insole is very soft padding. Great boot!!!!!

I’m madly in love with these boots. The color and fit are perfect. I get endless compliments on them! The one thing I’ll warn you about it the bottoms are very slick (that’s how cowboy boots are made), but they’ll gain traction with wear. You also need to break them in a bit before they reach the ultimate comfort level. Wear longer socks so they don’t rub. But other than that, they’re incredible.

Love these boots! Haven't walked around in them enough to say if they are comfortable but so far so good. They feel a little big in the heel and I put on an extra pair of socks and I'm glad I took another reviewer's advice and ordered a half size down from my usual 8 1/2. If I didn't want to wear them out tonight, I would think about trying a 7 1/2 to see if they fit better although I think that might be too tight. The color and style are awesome!

These boots are awesome! They arrived just as I was on my way out and I changed my entire outfit so I could wear them immediately. They are fun and flashy, I love love love them. Comfortable from the moment I put them on...and the style is perfect, the toe is just pointy enough but not so much that I feel like an elf when wearing them. The quality is great. I was really looking forward to these boots. I followed inch size recommendations and ordered half size smaller. I could not even get my foot into the bottom of the boot. I do have a large calf, but these are rediculously small around! Sorry they do not come in a wide width, I might try again.

Order one size smaller than you normally wear. Runs big.

Ordered a half size down as western boots run a bit large in the toe. I just LOVE the color of these cool boots and finding purple accessories to go with them. My first Dan Post western boots, will be wearing them for a long time.

My first pair of cowgirl boots! The color is beautiful, stitching is very nice, and they are super comfortable. Definitely run a little larger, though - I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size based on previous reviews.

I was window shopping when I spotted this purple boot and immediately bought it. I have narrow feet and wear a size 8.5-9. I ordered a size 8.5B. It not only fit but was also comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them a lot over the past year with no issues. If you love purple and don't mind a really pointy toe (aka self defense toe), you will love this boot. It was my first, but certainly not last, pair of Dan Post boots. Love them.

The 9 (which is my size) was too big; the 8½ is just right. The return process is easy, quick, and friendly. I would recommend these boots and this site to anyone!

I love these boots. Dan post are the best. I have 2 pair of Dan Post boots. The sole is leather too so they are great for dancing in. They fit perfectly and I get tons of compliments on the color! Zappos was the best place to buy them. Low price and free shipping. What more could you want?

These boots are amazing! I purchaced them for my wedding, but couldn't wait to wear them. Figured they'd need to be broken in, but they're super comfortable right out of the box! It's my first pair of Dan Post boots, but won't be my last.

I love love love these boots.... they are perfect in color and style! Unfortunately they will not even think about going over my wide calves.....soooo sad to return them. Will continue to shop for more.

Returned because I didn't like that the reinforced toe area was so noticeable, and felt it would only get more prominent with wearing. Otherwise, they were nice boots.

This is the second pair of boots ordered. The first pair were so defected with black marks and red spots, I hope they never send to another customer as they should be trashed. The second pair was much better but still has a faded red spot and black line. When I order boots or any other shoe: I expect it to be perfect, not seconds. Thankfully the Custimer Service was wonderful and worked with me. I appreciate their kindness but they need to have a talk with this distributor. Dan Post stands for something so their products should be high standard. Does Dan Post know about those? The company in the USA? Yes, I do my homework.

I wear a 9.5 in Corral and 9 in Ariat. I ordered a 9.5 in these and had way more room than I should. When you put a boot on, it should "pop" as your foot goes down onto the footbed, but my foot slid right it and it was definitely way too loose. I wear thinner knee socks with all my shoes, so if you wear hiking socks or such, your mileage may vary. I also expected this to be a little more Lavender in color, but it's definitely purple - think Grape Koolaid spilled on a countertop. I own a pair of orange and a pair of turquoise, so I'm not afraid of color, but I think a lighter purple would have popped under jeans.

I love my first pair of Dan Post boots and expected to love these as well. However, the width of the boots was different - the right one was narrower than the left by at least ½" and my right foot is the smaller one. It was very uncomfortable and looking down at them, it was obvious that they were different widths. I am so sad that quality control is still hit and miss despite the price.

Well, they are purple. I don't know what I was thinking but I think if I was 10, these would be adorable. As a mature woman, they seemed a little too "Barney, the dinosaur". Cute, but I exchanged them for a pair more appropriate to my maturity. That said, if you are looking for quality made, purple boots, you cannot go wrong with these!

I choose these boots as a gift for my sister's wedding outfit. They arrived, and looked as if they had originally been green leather, poorly spray-painted gold! The leather coloring of both boots were in very poor condition. I was really upset that Zappos let these boots slip by their quality control personnel, as they were obviously not anything like the boots pictured on the website. They were also definitely not a medium size, as they were listed. Bad call, Zappos!
