The Ravenna 4 is my running shoe. I had been wearing the Adrenaline 12, which I picked out myself based on the Brooks website shoe finder. When I got serious about running, I went in to my local running store for a gait analysis and proper shoe fitting. It turned out that I only have mild pronation and needed moderate support. The Adrenaline gave me more support than I needed, which was why they felt so stiff and clunky when I started running. I tried on a few different pairs and of the three finalists (Brooks Ravenna 4, Mizuno Wave Inspire 9 and Asics GT 2000), I liked the Ravenna the best. All 3 shoes were the right shoe for mr (moderate support for mild pronation), but I liked the plusher forefoot of the Ravenna the best. The Mizuno Wave Inspire was too firm for my liking and it was also too snug despite going up a size. The Asics GT 2000 was in the middle with a touch more cushioning in the heel but it didn't feel as good as the Ravenna, and frankly, I think Asics shoes are butt ugly, especially the pink, blue and black GT 2000. The Ravenna 4 was just right and looked good. I felt like Goldilocks. The Ravenna is now my exclusive running shoe and I rotate 2 pairs. I do a lot of running on pavement and my feet don't hurt at all now that I have proper shoes. My moly complaint is that I wish the Ravenna came in a wide. I am able to get a got fit by going up a full size but a wide shoe would've been even better.

I LOVE these shoes! I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for a while. I have not liked the adrenaline after the 11's. They felt like I was wearing bricks on my feet and no cushion at all. I starting researching and ordering different shoes and happened upon the Ravenna 4. I have already ordered another pair! Very comfortable, light, and cushiony. I normally wear a 6 1/2 in regular shoes. I ordered a 7 in these and there is plenty of room. I have flat feet and the arch support is great!

I have Plantar Fasciitis and have spent a lot of money on various types of sneakers to help with my condition. I was experiencing severe pain to the inner aspects of my feet and heels. I have worked in the health care industry as a nurse for years and spend long hours on my feet. However, every pair of sneakers I had purchased did not help to rectify the pain and I returned them to the store. I was just about to give up until I bought a pair of Brooks Ravenna 4's. These sneakers are so supportive, well cushioned, durable and can last all day. My feet feel amazing and pain free. After suffering with this painful condition for so many years, it feels so good to finally live a normal life and not worry about how long I can last on my feet before I need to sit down again. Currently, I work 10 hour+ shifts and could go another 10 hours on my feet as long as I am wearing these wonderful sneakers that have changed the quality of my life forever. I would strongly recommend these sneakers to anyone for any reason.

I run about 50-60 miles a week. This is my 10th pair of Brooks Ravennas. These are the only shoes I can count on for avoiding injury.

Best shoes I ever purchased! I am literally on my feet from 4 a.m. to about 9 p.m. They are very comfy and look good too! Thank you Zappos for making purchasing and returning items a breeze!

I like these running shoes. I had a previous version of the Ravenna so I wanted to try these and they feel just as good. Didn't require me to break them in too which is a plus! No blistering or sore spots on my feet either.

When my Ravenna 3's went to heaven at the Tough Mudder, I bought the Ravenna 4's. Although I like the 3's style more, both are absolutely amazing. Ravenna's are by far the best running shoes I've ever owned and they are amazing no matter what terrain I'm running on.

Perfect! I've been wearing Brooks Adrenalines. I loved the 11, the 12's were okay and hated the 13s. They were bulky and my feet felt like I had bricks on them while running. I sprint run periodically an I am in decent shape. I can honestly say that these sneakers fix all the problems of the Adrenaline 13s and more. Truly the most comfortable sneakers ever. I love the extra cushion in the heel and extra room in the toes. I'm debating buying another pair just to have when these ones are done.

Great shoe! I have a neuroma in one foot and this is the only shoe that I can wear. I wore Asics for more years than I can remember and they gradually started bothering my foot with the neuroma. I tried on every brand and style before landing on this one. It's the ONE. I bought three pairs.

I went through a nightmare trying to find shoes that I could walk in all day and not have my feet killing me. I work in a warehouse from 9-6 and am always on my feet. It seemed like every shoe I tried on was too tight or too loose on some part of my foot. I finally found these bad boys and they were amazing. Comfortable, fit right, nice colors. The only downside is they're not really made to withstand warehouse work, so I've bought 2 pairs in 2 years and am about to buy a third. The shoes every year is pretty spendy, but the comfort makes them worth it.

These are my favorite running shoes. I was gearing up for a half marathon relay. (my first run)and had gone to a store to buy a pair of running shoes. I had always worn Asics but the girl recommended that I try Brooks. They are the most comfortable and supportive shoes that I have run in. I ended up going to the Zappos sight and ordering two more pair in different colors. They run about 1/2 size smaller than my other shoes so be sure to go up in size.

Very comfortable and great arch support. I have an over pronation and these shoes really helped ease my workouts. No more back pain and lots of pep in my step!

This is really a great shoe, better than the Ravenna 5. The sole gave great cushion. But in the end it wouldn't work for my foot. The 6 didn't give me the support I needed but the 5.5, my actual size, was too small. The other shoes I've tried including Nikes were accurate 5.5s. It has a wide toe box which is comfortable but in the 6 allows my narrow foot too much movement. I didn't find it as flexible as the Nike Air Max for exercising and the Nike was comfortable while keeping my foot from overpronating. I have flat feet and I would say it had good arch support. If your feet aren't narrow you would probably love it.

Love these shoes. Colors are great. Fit is great. Only downside is they are compressing way too fast and as such won't last very long. I'm not keen on that in any shoe. Need to make shoes that will last for a year, not 3 months, then have a better plan for recycling.

I absolutely love these shoes! These are my first Brooks. I bought them because they resembled an Asics style that I have enjoyed. The fit is comfortable and there is lots of cushioning for these narrow 58 year old feet!

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Ravenna! I had the 3's and needed a new pair so I went with the 4's! So glad I did same comfort as the 3 so glad I ordered these! They send an extra pair of black laces in case the neon yellow is a little to much for you! I get compliments on the looks of these all the time!

Great arch support, lots of cushion. I actually wear these for my Insanity class, and not to run. They provide a lot of cushioning.

Ok, these are not the most attractive shoes I've ever purchased, but they are excellent for running! Brooks carries some of the best running shoes on the market in my eyes, especially for somebody with foot/leg pain. Great support, lightweight, would recommend. Note: I always purchase my running shoes a half size larger.

After reading the other reviews, I decided to go with the Ravenna 4 and I'm glad I did. I run about 15-20 miles a week and also use them for spinning. I was experiencing some foot pain with my old shoes, and wanted to try Brooks (which I've never had before) because they were highly recommended by other runners. These are great! Very comfortable, supportive but lightweight. They look nice too! I bought up a half size as I always do with running shoes. Great service and a good price from Zappos as always.

Colorful, comfortable and a perfect fit for my 8 1/2 feet right out of the box! Not only do I like them, I've gotten a lot of compliments on them -and since they have Seattle Seahawks colors, I'm really in! I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely purchase again.

Great shoes. Comfortable and well made. I like the iridescent touch to the color scheme. Wish it had a little more arch support, but I have high arches and usually need more.

As always, a superb product from Brooks! And, as always, I wear a size larger in Brooks than I do in most shoes. That's consistent. Have the Brooks shoes in various styles and colors, but this is one of my favorites!

I love how comfortable the shoes are! I felt like I was running on pillows and was able to run faster. This is the first brand of running shoes that I am committing to! I like Reebok, NIKE, New Balance and Adidas but LOVE these Brooks. Very comfortable and light, worth the higher price.
