Best pair of running shoes ever! I'm a brooks customer for life now! So comfy I wear around the house rather than take them off!

Loved the original PureConnect. I enjoy the look of the PureConnect 2 much more. They seem to be made slightly better. They run a half size small.

Wonderfully light shoes with moderate support but still good feel. Slightly more shock absorption than a minimal shoe in the heel. Love them, will likely get another pair. Only downside is they appear to wear very quickly.

My high school son is very picky when it comes to shoes. He's in shoes all day at school walking all over class to class. He likes something that is comfortable & not too heavy or clunky. He's always been an avid Asics lover. We decided to take a chance on trying these shoes on. These are PERFECT! We didn't buy these from Zappos but from a store in our area. He tried them on & instantly fell in love with them. He said they are extremely comfortable & a great for his 10.5 size feet. He's had these for a few weeks now & they have held up beautifully. They still look brand new. A great shoe at a good price!

This is the 2nd pair my husband has had. The sleek and slender styling of these shoes are perfect for a narrower foot. Light weight and great for our hot Texas climate.

Excellent shoes, I have run in the PureConnect 1 and 2s, and they are both extremely light with great support. Would recommend to any serious runner.

I was very sad when Brooks discontinued my favorite Green Sience in favor of developing a Pure Project replacement until I slipped my foot into the Pure Connect 2. I had the same "Oooh Yeeeah" feeling upon first feel as I did with the Green Silence. Soft, supple, perfectly conforming to my arch and foot shape. So sure of its comfort after just two runs I broke rule #1 of marathoner: "never wear a new untried shoe in the marathon that you had not trained in". I wore my new Pure Connect 2's in the Disney World Marathon last week. Not only did I run my fastest marathon to date but I did it running away after mile 20 when my feet are usually hurting. Finished with strong feet and the littlest next day soreness ever. Dream shoe! Had them in time to race due to Zappos' exceptional service and speed. Very comfortable. My only complaint would be the durability of the soul especially near the toe. These seam to wear down much faster than other shoes.

These ran a full size smaller for me. So be advised you might want to order a bit larger than you normally would. However, Zappos return policy is great and there was no problem getting the correct size. Besides that the overall look and feel of the show is great. Great transition shoe for switching to minimalist.

These are sleek minimalist shoes. You feel like you can run like the wind-bouncy too. Problem is you will not be getting much support and it feels like you could turn an ankle. The design is very cool - no tongue, just the inside half of the shoe wraps into the other. Very minimal shoelaces. Might be better as gym shoes.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they were a bit too narrow for my feet. I normally need a wide toe box and these were just to narrow for me. If you have normal to narrow feet, these should be on your short list.

Good, solid partial-minimalist shoe. I have two sets of the previous PureConnects and I actually like those better. The width on these seems extremely narrow. I ordered a half-size up and I still feel rather constrained. I think this feel is caused by the added arch support band. Overall, I still think they are better then any other semi-minimalist shoes on the market.

I've owned 5 pairs of Brooks PureConnect (PC) shoes. My first pair of the PC2 will be my last unless Brooks addresses (or reverts to the old) the lacing system. The PC2 is a step backward for the model The upper is lighter than the first but I feel the construction is less stable. And the larger vents do let in quite a bit of dirt/water/debris. Thankfully the sole is constructed the same, which is important for fore/mid foot strikers. Overall, great shoe for minimalist style runners who want a fast, light shoe. My hope is that Brooks makes an effort to revise the lacing system and then let the shoe be; the original was an instant classic!

I have two pairs of the original Pure Connect shoes. The PureConnect 2 felt a half to full size smaller and the toe box seemed more cramped. Overall style is better than the originals.

Very disappointed. Initial impressions were great. Fit and arch support were good as was the lightweight design. The disappointment came after just a couple of weeks when one of the lace "eyelets" broke. Made from 3/16 inch piece of nylon ribbon it was secured by only 4 stitches. I have seen this type of system fail before. Come on Brooks! Can you add another 5 mm of ribbon and a few more passes of thread to ensure this system doesn't fail? I really tried no to crank on the laces, but they still failed. Now my new shoes are junk.

The shoe looks very cool but my foot is supposed to be about size 11.5 and I read to order a half size larger. I ordered a 12 and it was just long enough. Also I don't think of my foot as being very wide but this shoe seemed exceptionally narrow for being a 12. It fit more like a 10.5-11.0. I had to send it back and try something else. I thought it was very light and was disappointed because I really like the brand!

With very light use, these shoes tore in two places on the upper mesh and the bottom sole also tore in two places and I do not even run in these. Had they been made well, I otherwise would have loved them, as they are very light and very comfortable.
