I'm happy with these shoes. I have a pair Asics GEL-Scram that I use at home/weekends, but i needed a pair for my gym locker for my weekday morning workouts. These fit and perform really well, but are slightly more rigid that the Scram version. I use them for outdoor bootcamp 2x/week plus in the gym for cardio, Spinning, weight training, BodyPump, etc. I recommend them, but it did take me a couple wears to get used to them, because I was thinking they'd be the same as the Scram. If you want more bouncy, flexibility-go for the SCRAM, but if you need a more rigid shoe, this is the one.

I love Asics as a 20-40 mile a week runner. I have about 5 pairs on rotation currently. I read ratings for trail runner shoes and for price venture was great to try trail shoes. I love them and have in every color now and rarely wear any other Asics on the trails. Great shoe at great price.

I love this running shoe. It is very light weight, and has the perfect amount of padding in it. The arch support is beyond superior. I do not run in running shoes. I buy them because I am an avid walker. Every morning for 1 to 2 1/2 hours with my dog Tarura. Upon returning home after walking in them this morning my feet were not hurting at all, even the bottom of my foot felt terrific. I have tossed my L L Bean trail walkers into the garbage can. I do not know how the running shoe will work out after 4 or 5 months. I purchase at least 3 pairs of running shoes a year. Tip: if you wear these with thin athletic socks, they will fit excellently.

I am a New Balance convert. I have wide feet and New Balance always had a great fit for me.. until recently. NB seemed to get more narrow, stiff and uncomfortable. I tried a new brand hoping to find something that wouldn't hurt my feet. And I love these shoes! I could have gone on a 3 mile walk right after putting them on. No squeezed toes or heel rubbing or blisters. I wanted sneakers that didn't scream Sneakers! And the color of these is perfect to wear with jeans. I like them so much I might have to buy another pair.

I have wear 11W in regular shoes and 11.5W in athletic shoes. The 11.5W was perfect. Shoes were well made and comfy-cozy. I'm retired and I have been wearing them all day around the house. They look great with my athletic wear as well as jeans. The shoes were ordered on a Thursday and arrived at my house on Monday! Thanks Zappos!

I love these sneakers-so super comfy. I walk dogs for a living and I want to buy another pair. I just noticed today that the right sneaker is way more faded than the left. Not sure when this happened or how and just noticed today.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit me just right because I am a 10.5 with a slightly wide width. After reading the reviews, I decided to give these a shot. I ordered a size 11 with a wide width and they fit perfect! I'm normally a Nike girl, but these fit a lot better and my feet feel great after a long day of running around in a medical office.

A month in as an owner of Asics Gel-Venture 4's and I am very happy with my purchase. Whether walking or running, my large size 11 feet are supported, cushioned and safely green lighted. Since white gets nasty so quick, I like the multiple shades of gray to even out the green (bright but not too much). This is my eleventh pair of Asics, so maybe I'm brand biased, but I have never had to break in any of my pairs - they just fit right every time. Highly recommend especially since if your feet aren't as happy as mine, you can ship them back to Zappos!

I love Asics and have had many different pairs and have always found them to be very comfortable.This shoe is no exception. The sole is firmer than some of the other Asics models that I've had, but I found these to be very comfortable anyway. They have great arch support which is important for me because I have heel spurs that bother me without a good support. I am on my feet all day at work and these get me through the day. I do find this shoe, along with most Asics, to run a little narrow. This works for me because I have skinnier than average feet and can wear a medium width. I really like how they look and bought two different colors, since they were so reasonably priced.

These Asics GEL- Ventura 4 are a great shoe for training here in Hawaii with all the different type of terrain we have. The big Plus was the customer service and fast dependable delivery from Zappos.

I'm usually loyal to New Balance sneakers for my gym shoes, but wanted to find something a little less expensive and with a different look. This is my first pair of ASICS and they are pretty much as comfortable as New Balance that I'm used to.

These are okay. Not really comfortable for long periods of time. Also, find them not to breath very well. So, my feet get hot in them. Won't buy them again.

These are cute shoes and fit well (size 7 is a size 7) but when I run longer than a mile or two, the left shoes gives big blisters in my arch. I've tried twice, and won't try again. Fine for walking around, or short cross training sessions. Not for running.

These run seriously small! My regular size is 11B and I go up to 12W in sports shoes to wear cushioned socks. I'd need a 13 in this shoe and even that might not work.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever had after wearing and running in them for less than a week. They felt pretty good at first but when I hit the road for my first jog I stepped on a pebble and thought that the sole felt pretty thin. The next thing I noticed is that the arches started rubbing pretty bad. I have only put on six miles in three days worth of run but I also wear these for work. I am a physical education and health teacher so I stand a lot. I cannot wait to get home and take them off. Also, I am not a fan of the black color as dust and dirt make them look horrible. I wore Asics years ago and they were great. I just wish that I could send these back or upgrade. At this point it looks like I am out the money.

Not enough support or cushioning. My feet are always tired and achy after wearing these all day. Also, shoe laces are really short. Note that I wear these for running errands, etc., not actual exercise.

This shoe does feel a bit snug on the sides, but not uncomfortably so. It is just a very supportive shoe - great if you are on your feet all day every day! I love them!

Awesome! Fit great, feel great! Excellent arch support, very good for my freakishly high arches. I needed to exchange the footbed with my molded arch supports, and lace differently, but that's what's normal for me. Love them!

Love these shoes...I have bought them several times. They are bright and just perfect. I have a wide foot, and they still fit great.

Great sneaker for a great price! Perfect for running and cardio exercising. They have great support and cushioning. Asics are always my go to sneakers and they never disappoint.

I bought these for summer walking and short hikes. They are comfortable and fit well. Very pleased.

This shoe is awesome. I walk at least 4 to 5 miles a day and they have great support for me. I need a little stiffer shoe and these meet my needs. I always buy Asics but was in Marshalls and saw a pair of New Balance for less money then these so I bought them. The New Balance ended giving me knee and ankle pain after 2 weeks. That's when I ordered the Venture 4 and I'm so glad I did. Guess I won't be making that mistake of buying anything else but Asics. Also thanks Zappos for your great selection and fast delivery.

I love the feel and the look. Very sturdy shoe that I think will have a long life. However, when standing for numerous hours my feet do get a tad sore. This shoe has amazing grip as well! I get tons of compliments!

I'm on my feet all day at work and these shoes are wonderful! I love Asics! I have wide feet and get the wide size and they fit like a glove. Lots of support on those long days and stylish too! Would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone.

I am on my third pair of these Asics as they are my favorite walking/hiking shoes ever! I walk or hike 3-7 miles a day with my puppy on all sorts of terrain and my feet are always comfortable and blister free. I wear a 7 in most shoes and the 7½ always fit perfectly in Asics. There are great color combinations to choose from. Comfort, style and a great price. You cannot go wrong. I am going to order two more pairs as I am afraid some day they will discontinue them and with all the walking and hiking I do, I need to replace them about three times a year.
