Not a formal dress, by any means. I bought this not knowing it was t-shirt material. It is still very cute, and I love the fit.

I love the dress. It is glamorous and comfortable. I'm only 5'3" so it is slightly long on me but that proved to not be an issue when wearing it because I can maneuver it on my middle body because of the overlay and how it hides everything. The red is a true red. I love it.

I love this dress! It is very flattering. The only bad thing, is that it is a little sheer but that can be fixed wearing good underwear.

If you're looking for a comfortable yet stylish dress, you've come to the right place. The one thing I took issue with is that it runs a bit small. Nowhere else in life am I a 3X, but in this dress. I first ordered it in an XL and a 2X and they were both too small. I hit the jackpot with the 3X so I ordered it in more colors. This would also be an easy bridesmaid dress option.

This dress is absolutely adorable! I am so happy that I purchased it. My only gripe is that I wish they sold this dress in a shorter length. I am 5'3" and I had to take it to a tailor to hem it several inches and that cost me an additional $20. Therefore, I give it 4 stars.

Very flattering dress as it hides a multitude of sins. I wear a 14 and it is form fitting but the v-shape of the top makes it flattering. I am 5'3" and even with 4 inch heels will have to take it to the tailor to have at least 3 inches taken off.

The only disappointment in the dress is that there is no elastic at the waist. The dress is narrow at the hips, which for me is fine. I plan to wear it in the summer around my pool as a leisure dress. As I cannot wear a strapless bra, the over sized collar covers a multitude of sins, without a bra.

First off this is not navy, it is dark plum. Second it's beautiful! I'm 5'7" and 180 lbs. I got a large. Fits well, it's long, but I can belt it and pull up a little. Overall I love it!

I bought this dress for use during a long weekend attending a friend's wedding in Palm Spring. It's lovely! Comfortable, chic, and beyond reasonably priced for the quality. It can be easily dressed up or worn casually. I'm 5'6" and normally wear S/M on top, M on the bottom. It was flattering, and I think would look good on many different figures. I like it so much I might purchase another in a different color.

I love the look of this dress but found it to be far too long and very see through. You'll need a something under it if purchasing the white which is a huge bummer because the off shoulder look doesn't work with a slip or cami underneath.

I had to return this dress because it's very narrow around the ankles. The black dress I ordered was fine, fit like a normal dress at the ankles. But the striped one I had to hobble like a mermaid

I bought this dress in three colors: black, white, and rose. First, the black dress I received was the wrong dress.. Second, the white is more like an ivory/off white color, which I didn't mind, however the material is soooo thin that anything you wear underneath will show and have visible lines. Third, the rose color is like a bubblegum pink color, and not as soft or somewhat muted as in the photo. Very disappointed.. Maybe the black would have worked, but I was sent a totally different black dress than what I ordered. Sad I have to return all three.

I really wanted to love this dress--its soft and stretchy. But the bottom portion is too tight and shows everything you want to hide. I suppose if you have a perfect figure, it would be okay, but if you are trying to conceal anything, this dress will not do it, even with the top portion...you see every flaw on the sides.

I was blown away by all the positive reviews and was really excited to wear this postpartum; however, it's very tight fitting underneath the hanging fabric and you can really see everything there. I expected the main portion of the dress to be much looser and more forgiving...I even went up a size. But this dress is very form fitting, and then when you add the stripes, I'm afraid it's not very flattering. I'm not sure if I will return, but wanted to make sure you ladies understood how this dress works!

This dress needs to come with an instruction manual. After about 2 minutes I gave up trying how to wear this dress but maybe I was being impatient. Also the dress isn't that long. I'm 5'6 and ordered a small. The straight line hem means that your feet come sailing out, which is not cute. Seems like this dress worked for others.

I loved this dress...the style, the color etc but ended up returning it. it ran small through the body of the dress and was not flattering. Wish it would have worked, I believe if I would have ordered a larger size, the cute top wouldn't fit!

Love the look. Also bought the khaki one. The fit was so different. Loved the soft drape of the khaki. The striped one was like wearing a tight glove - I ordered M in both. Hoping exchanging the striped for a L will work. Actually almost indecent how tight the white striped one was.

Loved the style of this dress. Especially for those of us with a "little in the middle" to hide. I am 5'8" and 129 lbs. I ordered and returned a small and a medium. The small fit perfectly on the top but the body of the dress (chest to ankles) was SUPER tight. It was difficult to take anything other than small steps and was inappropriately tight for a 59 year old. So I returned the small and order medium. The medium was too large on the top and seemed almost identical in tightness in the body of the dress. I was so disappointed. Oh well, I guess I will keep on shopping. :)

This dress seems like it would be very comfortable to wear and I really wanted to like it. However, I ordered it in White and expected a white dress. It's not, it's cream colored or ivory, not a true white, which was what I needed. It drapes nicely and hides flaws, but when I opened it, it was extremely wrinkled. I tried hanging it for a week to see if the wrinkles would straighten, but not so. I love Zappos, but I am returning this dress. I'm afraid if I take a chance and press it and then don't like it, I wouldn't be able to send it back.

This is a very cute dress that nicely hugs your curves in all the right places...I am 5' 7" and 132 lbs - the small was perfect. The length was at the ankle so flats or heels could be worn comfortably. This dress is, however, very heavy for a cotton maxi style and probably not the easiest to pack given the extra fabric of the drape. Further, to wear the dress off the shoulders as shown in the pictures, you will need some fashion tape to hold it in place as it tends to roll back up the shoulder into an exaggerated "crew neck." The maroon color is lovely and should flatter most skin tones. I ended up returning the item simply because of the neckline being too bulky and moving up the shoulder too much. I would definitely consider other dresses from this brand. Good luck!

I thought this might work for my post-maternity body. Too clingy and the top was awkwardly large on my 5'3" medium framed body. I do think it would be super cute off the shoulders during the spring and summer months.

Great, thick fabric. The problem was that the dress was way too long, even with 4 inch wedges on (I am a little over 5'5").

I am about 5'8" and weigh close to 145 - I have two young kids - this dress covers my Mommy gut. The fabric is nice, and it looks like it will travel well. I ordered the Navy but it is more of a royal purple tone.

This dress completely overwhelms my frame (5'5" and 102 lbs). It also makes me look like a wizard! I think that if you are taller and broader, it might work but on me it just looks like I have a giant Snuggie blanket on.
