Shorts are nice. They're true to size (32W), but as usual they believe that if your waist is small everything else is small (hips/legs). This makes for a snug fit. I also learned that board shorts don't have a mesh liner in them (I'm a little behind the times, I know). So you're more or less just going commando in a regular pair of shorts meant to be worn in the water.

Bought this to wear in Hawaii. There's a convenient pocket which sits on the right side and zips shut. There's also a looped elastic bungee cord, about 2 inches long, which you can loop your keys around. These shorts do not have the under-net but I prefer to wear an undershort rashguard...you can get that on Zappos as well. Overall, great looking item and my girlfriend loves the way they look too!

Fit at the waist, but was very narrow through the hips. The crotch hung a bit low too. Unless you are narrow hipped or have no butt, I would not recommend this board short. Also, even though it is advertised as 21", it still ended well above the knee (I am 6'3", though). Other than that, the material was very good and the style was nice.

These are more "old man" swim trunk than board short. Don't get me wrong, i am an old man but I'd rather people noticed the gray temples than swim trunks that are a little too short and a little to tight. Sent them home.
