I love Ecco and I really hated to send these back. I loved the material. These felt high quality. But I need over the calf and these are crew-under the calf. They just won't stay up. Only over the calf socks wills stay up all day. I can't sit at a meeting, cross my legs and half half of my white leg glowing from under my pant cuff. They should state clearly on the description that it's under the calf crew sock.

The socks are the best. They are so comfortable and hold up in the washer and dryer very well.

I will now begin a review of a product that shouldn't be able to bring a smile to my face, "Ecco Socks Dress Cushion Mercerized Cotton". These socks are awesome. No kidding. When I put the first pair on this morning, I literally smiled and said "wow". Dead serious here. They fit perfectly, have plenty of cushioning and don't slide down my calf halfway through my walk to work! In fact, they didn't budge all morning! Granted, they are expensive. But they are worth it. Best black socks I have owned. Thick enough to provide cushioning, stretchy enough to make putting them on a breeze, they won't budge all day and they look nice. So, if you want my opinion, buy them!
