I ordered these sandals and wore them several times out and about. They were really comfortable and I liked the look. There really was not a breaking in period that was needed. Last weekend, though, I wore them in the water for the first time. I got dye all over my feet! I thought it might be something that would happen just the first time I wore them - so I went into the water again the next day. Same thing happened. Let me be clear too - I was not doing much in the water except running after my one year old in the wading pool. I e-mailed Zappos to see if I was wrong in assuming that these were waterproof and they refunded my money. I do not think they should have had to do that - but I am grateful and want to spread the warning.

I've been wearing Teva's since they first came out and I've ALWAYS fit a size 8 in their sandals perfectly. These are a full size too big and the heel strap is stiff and uncomfortable. It hurts just standing in the sandals so I can't imagine walking in them. I have a bit wider feet and these are too wide for me. AND I was sent one brown and one black sandal (I ordered black and it even says brown on the box!) so I'm not impressed by the sandal or the person that sent them. They are going back and I'll probably be looking at different brands.
