I am a huge fan of Teva sandals especially for my boys who are rough on shoes. My older son is pretty picky about shoes. Last year, he wore Teva sandals and loved them. This year we bought the Teva Barracuda. My son tried wearing these for the day and a blister formed under the plastic loop on the front of the sandal. These aren't cheap shoes so I thought I would try them so the money wasn't wasted. I tried wearing them and found there is a hard piece of plastic under the front loop that does rub on top of your foot. I usually love Teva but am terribly disappointed in this style.

I walked around for a day and got sores that took over two weeks to heal after wearing these. It seems you need to wear socks with them, but who wears socks with sandals?

I loved Terra Fi 1 and Terra Fi 2. Terra Fi 3 was junk, stupid heel pad fell apart in no time. Tried Barracuda. Lasted longer than Terra Fis in really rough terrain. Grip slightly down in some conditions. God price. Please don't change them.

Got these for the beach and they are prefect for that. No fabric to get wet or leather to bleed on your feet. Perfect beach shoes.

Needed summer footwear for the pool bu have challenges... wide feet and drop foot. So I ordered a man's size, with the help of a Zappos consultant. These are perfect to get to and from the pool.

These are lightweight, waterproof, and appear to be durable. There is a plastic bit that seems to rub on the little toe; we're not entirely sure how big of a problem this will be. Otherwise they are very comfortable and fit well.

I need a reliable sandal to wear on a rafting trip down the GC. These were available at retail here in NZ. As I was traveling to USA I did a search and got these through Zappos for less! They delivered to my hotel at no charge. What service! The sandals performed great and were nice and light to stuff in my pack when we hiked out.

This seems to be a good solid Sandal, but it is sized really below the listed numbers. I do not know why, probably to save money. I ordered my size 14 and 3E width, but both were short and they don't make bigger.

If you are looking for a minimal sandals (zero-drop, very flexible, with great ground feel) look elsewhere. These sandals are Teva Northridge wannabes. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on the Teva Northridge. While the sole looks minimal compared to most sandals (and they are on the thinner side) - they are quite firm, offering no ground feel at all. You cannot fold these things in half like truly minimal soles.

Got these for my teenage son because I liked the look of these and I love Teva's. These, not so much. He wore them once to the beach and that was all he could take. They rubbed his ankle raw from the little plastic ring that the strap loops through. Don't waste your money on these.

Right out of the box you can tell these are a cheap pile of junk. You can get better sandals at Walmart for 1/4 of what these cost. They are so cheap and flimsy they look like knockoffs you could buy in Tijuana.

I'm a huge fan of teva's "Toachi" water sandals; wear mine almost daily for water aerobics. Hoped that this style would serve as a lower-cost alternative, but oh no it didn't. Very wide (I have narrow feet but all my other Tevas manage to fit okay. These: not). Where the Toachi provides a nice bouncy feel with comforting arch support, this style is thin and flat. Toachi yes. Barracuda no.
