I've been wearing the Shadow since the 80's. They are perfect for my flat, pronated, horrible feet that need tweaking with orthotics, foam and other devices while still giving a very cushioned baseline fit. They are uniquely adaptable to all my needs because the sole is removable and very flexible while the shoe itself it the lightest I've found with these attributes. Love the updated black/gold version I just bought.

The quality of the Shadow is very good. However, the color of the Pink/White variant is not true to the pictures. These shoes are not actually pink. The leather on the Pink/White is a dark peach, and the mesh is tangerine.

Not as comfortable as I expected but OK.

Orange not pink... :-(

I’ve been wearing Saucony Jazz for years and figured these would fit the same but they don’t. They fit tight on my high arch and were a smidge too narrow.

Cute but runs small

I liked the shoe but it slipped off my heel when walking, front of shoe was perfect. Sadly have to return it.

A tiny bit too small, makes more sense to get similar sneaker but 1/2 size up. Returning box today.

My foot is a little wide so I was hoping this size 9M would fit. It didn't give me quite enough room at the toes so I'm returning it. It was very nice looking and I especially liked how two different laces were included - gray and pink. Just didn't feel great on my foot.

These shoes seemed to have no cushioning. No arch support that I could tell. Sent them back.

I agree with what another reviewer wrote... These seem different than any of my previous Saucony Shadow Originals. It's like they are being manufactured differently with different materials. They were my favorite shoes, and I keep on wearing them even though they are worn out. I Have been waiting for the colors I have to come back, but I saw the black and iridescent and decided to get them. One foot feels good and comfortable even though I m not sure I like the look of the materials, but the other foot feels "off" somehow. It feels like there isn't enough of a sole underneath. Maybe a narrow width shoe got mixed in with the medium width? But they look alike on the outside. I don't know what is going on, but if you have been wearing these for years and are a fan, you might be disappointed in these.

The shoes are uncomfortable. They have little cushion or support. If only they felt as good as they look.

The colors are great but I was thrown off by the odd construction of the sole with the thick white piece cut in the the black chunk. Husband and I agreed it looked a bit orthopedic. Too bad because otherwise they are very cool shoes.

Look amazing but the heel sole is HARD and it was uncomfortable to walk after ~8 blocks due to feeling extra pressure on my heels.

Love the styling and color of this shoe. The thick sole, although very comfortable, was too high in the back and threw my foot forward. The length of the shoe fit my size 10 feet but the B width seem a little wide. Returning shoe and will try the other retro styles they have.

Likes: very cute, as pictured on Zappos website. Dislikes: so very very uncomfortable and stiff, like walking on concrete blocks. Also runs very small. I exchanged for 1/2 size larger but should’ve gotten a full size larger. But this shoe is too painful to wear no matter if I got the bigger size or not. Returned.
