Order a half size larger than you normally wear -- I ordered the size I usually wear in all shoes (eg. Merrell) with an orthotic, and this shoe didn't have room for my foot let alone an orthotic. The rocker sole is not as pronounced as I had hoped it would be, and the arch support is only moderate. In looks, it somewhat resembles a Dansko shoe.

I wanted to love these, but they just didn’t quite fit right. The length was true to size, and I liked that they had a narrower heel and wide forefoot box. In that sense, they were very comfortable. The problem was around the arches. It felt like there was no fabric/insole touching the entire inside part of my arches, the part that is totally underfoot, even in to the center of the bottom of the foot and the metatarsal area. Even though they felt comfortable, my ankles felt like they were falling inward and I could see that causing long-term postural problems, knee, and arch pain. So back to Zappos they went.

I wanted a slip on for day to day chores. I need the wide width and heel support. This style had a sharply angled toe box that was uncomfortable for my feet. The shoes were well made and had good support but the fit was not for me.

These fit really well and the left shoe was really comfortable, however there was something wrong with the heel of the right shoe, so I will have to return them and order another pair.

I like the shoes they just run quite big. I have returned them and will reorder a half size smaller.

Beautiful shoes but I have a hammer toe and they weren't comfortable for me. Every ones feet are different so they may be exellent for you.

I work in a restaurant and these are great for being on your feet for up to 12 hours. I'm disappointed because I got them in March and the leather is tearing across the top on the right shoe. If I order again maybe I'll get a wide because when I work a few long days in a row my feet get a little swollen. Don't know if it's worth the price if they're just gonna tear again though.

I search high and low for work shoes that can withstand 12hour shifts and more. So when I read reviews I was excited for these. It took a day to break them in. Second day, I imagined maybe my feet were too hot? I shrugged and said it's probably the weather. Third and fourth, hot and sweaty feet. The thing is, my feet are usually ice cold, even in the summer so for my feet to get hot and sweaty-can't imagine what others must feel. I feel terrible about returning what I have worn already but if it's being offered, I sort of have to. I'm sorry. I need to be able to work without thinking about how uncomfortable my feet are.

Best working shoes ever!!! Seriously my last pair lasted so long and were so comfortable!!
Got sent the wrong pair of shoes. So I had to wait 3 extra days, even though I paid for over night shipping. They said they would refund the shipping charges, but didn't. Boo! :/

I used to love these shoes for the great support they had. Sadly, they have changed the footbed and the support is no longer as good. It is also not removable so the option of using an insole is taken away. Bummer because the leather was nice and supple and did not hurt my feet.

I purchased these shoes for work and I did read the other reviews and some stated that this particular shoe wasn't as comfy as the style for last year. I did notice that the left shoe felt tighter than the right shoe and by the end of the shift my big toe and left foot were hurting. I even tried them without socks and my toes were still touching the front of the shoe and I'm a true 8 1/2. I did exchange them for the other PRO in a size 9. Hopefully this will resolve my issue. Anyone that works in a kitchen in the f&b industry knows how important it is to have shoes that are comfortable, because you're on your feet all day.

Footbed was relatively comfortable but the upper was where the problems were. The leather is very stiff (and darker than the photos for Chestnut). They cut into the underside of my ankle bone on the outside. I have flatter/fallen arches and the upper was tight/rubbed across my medial instep and the inner side of my foot. Also they made my 8.5 size foot look HUGE. I need new non-slip shoes for waitressing and I prefer brown slip-ons, which is why I tried these, I really wish the Keen utilitarian shoes came in colors other than black. The Timberland sole seemed great, stable and grippy but I won't know in practice because I am sending these back, I'm not willing to get blisters and raw spots while on my feet for 9 hour shifts during a break-in period.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and have really helped with the back and foot pain when I have to work long days days.
That being said, this is the second pair that I have owned and both have had the non-slip sole come off. I will not buy this shoe again.

I'm a size 6 and got 6.5 for socks. They don't have sole support. It feels like you are walking on hard surfaces at all time.

I bought my usual size. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe to try it on. Not "wide" at all. I will order a bigger size.

The quality of this shoe is not what it has been in the past, it was too small all around and there was no arch support as in the past.

New version, like other reviews have said. I Loved what the shoe was a few years ago. I think I wore a women’s 7 wide, they were great right out of the box. I ordered a women’s 7.5 W this time and they’re so hard to get on and hurt my feet

I have been purchasing this shoe for since 2009. This pair was a little disappointing. The quality of leather has changed for the worse, which prohibits the shoe from meshing with the foot. I sure wish I still had my old ones.
I used to recommend the shoe to friends. I will no longer make that recommendation.

I bought these exact shoes 6 years ago, and they were wonderful. What has happened to them? Size is off, the leather did not feel as soft, and unable to pull out the inserts to replace with Dr Scholl's. Sadly they are going back.
