I initially bought the shoe in my true size but the shoe fit just right with no room for my feet to move and breathe. I also found it a bit tight across the the top of my feet. I returned the shoe using 30 Day Guarntee. I purchased the shoe a half size bigger and all is well. Shoe is comfortable and can withstand a day on the nursing floor with no problem. Thanks.

These shoes brought me through long hours of standing in medical school and surgery residency years ago but in the past 2-3yrs I've noticed the shoes aren't the same leather quality. They tend to crack where the foot bends. They definitely do not last as long as they used tostill a very good shoe but just disappointed with the change in quality especially at this price point.

I've had them back in the day and they were the best pair of work shoes that I've ever owned, lasted for years and were supper comfy. Sadly I had to return them as they felt snug and I wasn't sure if they'd break in fast. I'd definitely recommend to size up at least half size. Other than that the insole are as comfy as I remember

Its a good shoe. Comfortable with good arch support.
However the leather upper scuffs easily. I've been wearing them for a week and they already look "well loved".

When I got my shoes I was excited to try them on. I normally wear an 8 wide and it's been a while since I've purchased Timberlands. When I went to try them, I could barely fit my foot in. It was really tight. Had to wear them for about a week without socks to stretch them out and still do. It's a snug fit without socks, so I'm hoping it will stretch out a bit more so I can wear socks and, with winter around the bend. All in all, they are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I've ever worn, and my back doesn't hurt like it does when I wear other shoes.

I know these are great shoes. My friend bought same pair and thanks me for showing her these shoes. I know when I get the right size, I will be pleased as well.

I ordered these and a pair of Shoes for Crews Energy to wear in the kitchen for 8 hours at a time. When I tried them on, I thought the Timberland Pro would be the way to go. Well, when it came time to wear them, my back and legs were shredded after standing in them all day. I wanted to kick myself. So I ordered the pair of Shoes for Crews Energy with the rocker sole and OMG what a difference. I think because it is a softer sole it gives more. I am now stuck with a pair of TP shoes I will never wear again unless Zappos lets me return them. I guess people who are a fan of Dansko shoes they will be a fan of these Timberland Pro but not me. I like the more plush, “ride” of the Shoes for Crews!

I bought these to wear in my veterinary teaching hospital and so far they are very comfortable and my lower back pain has significantly decreased. I can stay on my feet all day without pain which is so much better than before these shoes. The cons: these shoes squeak! Oh my gosh, you can hear me coming from a mile away. also, these are about a full size too small in length. I am normally a 7.5 narrow/medium and sized up to an 8, but if I wear thicker socks my toes touch the ends. I dont know how long they will last but they have been working well for 2 months despite the horrible squeak.

Would have given this shoe a 5 star but the left shoe was defective, there was something sticking out and poking my foot. Other than that it is a comfortable shoe. Felt very stable. I wanted to exchange it but my size is out of stock so had to return it and bought a pair from Timberland (Zappos has a better price!). All in all, it’s an excellent shoe.

I wouldn't necessarily say it feels "too wide" even though there is a little bit of extra room for my pinky to rub on the side and after the first couple wears I didn't notice anymore, but it definitely aesthetically looks too wide. I absolutely love my XP pros from Dansko, but its safe to say they aren't the most attractive shoe and are a bit tall for someone who is already 5'8", so I was hoping these would feel just as comfy but add a bit more elegance to a function shoe and I would say for the most part it does just that.

I have a very high arch so I could not get my foot into this shoe. Once my foot was in the shoe it was amazingly comfortable and the fit was good but I could not take the pain of getting it on or off.

I'm a die hard Dansko fan and although they are comfortable and have much more of a variety of stylish colors to choose from, these Timberlands are a great choice for people like myself who's ankles roll to the side when walking. I've had it happen several times with me and even fell once in the Danskos and the extra soul design of these Timberlands I don't foresee this happening. They are also cheaper than Danskos (original price which I never pay) so that's another plus. Worth a try.

I had to ship mine back because my toes hit the front of the shoe. It was too short in length. I normally wear a regular width 8.5 for shoes, but I feel I would need at least a size 9. Sadly, there were none of the larger sizes available. It's a good looking work shoe and would probably be comfortable, in the right size. I shipped it back with the enclosed return label that was in the box and still awaiting the refund.

I typically wear running shoes when at work, but as a front line nurse during a pandemic having a easy-to-disinfect shoe became a priority. I tried on 3 other brands before deciding on the Timberland Renova. I find them comfortable to wear while standing for hours a day, and I really like the look. I have mild bunions and the toebox is roomy enough to give my forefoot space to spread out while still being comfortable for my narrow foot. I do slip out of the back (as I do while wearing Dansko clogs) but it's comfortable. The cushioning feels good; I needed only 1 or 2 days to break them in. My one quibble is that they have started to squeak - not sure why this happened but I have read in reviews that it's a problem others have had. It's a little annoying. I am a size 10 and they fit very well with thin socks (compression stockings); if I wore a thicker sock my toes would hit the front, so I would say they run a little small.

The feel comfortable on the toes but a little tight on the top. I just have to break them in because I love the shoe for the support the have on the feet. You can wear them 18 hours a day and still wear them the next day. They have good support. I have plantar fasciitis, and it hurts so much putting my feet down on the floor in the morning when I get out of bed , but with these TIMBERLANDS the pain is barely noticeable. I love the shoes as a nurse, I would recommend them for all nurses

My first purchase from this brand. I was impressed. I felt there was sufficient arch support, I felt a good amount of air cushion as I walke. With my thick socks, they had a good snug. Comfortable for my aching feet. They seem like they would last a long time. Very good quality and slip-resistant.

Tried them on as soon as they arrived. Very comfortable fit, but I typically wear 9 or 9.5, ordered 9.5 and they were slightly snug on my big toe. Ordered for a size 10 with customer service and they should be perfect!

I have ordered one in white and it fits perfectly but for some reason when I ordered the one in black the size seems to runner bigger. So when I'm wearing the one in black I just wear thicker socks and so far so good. No complaints, I stand in one position for a long time before I get a break and these shoes have been great for my feet.

I've seen many great reviews on this shoe and thought these would be great for my clinicals and future career as a surg tech. So far so good. They do feel a little tight but I feel like once I break them in they'll be fine. If not should have gotten a size and a half bigger (ordered 9.5). They are comfy. I gave a four due to the possible tight size and they came with a little black scuff on the left inside shoe. I'm not one to complain for little imperfections but I got the white shoes... thankfully it's small enough it's hard to see.

My comfort or lack there of with this shoe is my fault. Just make sure that if you have a wide foot order a Wide or the shoe will not fit. If your shoe size is normally a 8.5(like mine is) with this particular shoe, go a half size up. This quest to find the right shoe is nerve wrecking, but I will try again. I think this is a great shoe...when it fits.

I usually wear a size 10 Wide but these were too long so the shoe was too big. I exchanged them for a size 9 1/2 Wide but they are also too big- my heels slip out as I walk and there is a finger-width space between my heel and the back of the shoe. Perhaps a full size smaller than I usually wear would work. I really wanted these to fit. I love the style (Naples) and quality of the shoe. The color “Infield chaos” is a beautiful rich brown with a bit of red.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance- they come in wide sizes
