This is a nice basic boys dress shoe. My son usually wears an XW width and he was able to wear this wide shoe from Florsheim. They fit true to size, I just ordered the size he usually takes in New Balance athletic shoes and they fit just right. The overall workmanship and quality are good. Recommend and would buy again.

Nice looking shoe. My oldest one used these all through elementary school. These were the only shoes that would hold up as he plays soccer and kickball all the time. I did find these to be smaller so I will be exchanging them.

We were disappointed with this shoe, both in terms of comfort (stiff and tight) and fit (my son seemed to be between sizes). We had much better luck with the School Issue Brooklyn, which looks nearly identical, but was far more comfortable (softer leather, more padding around the top of the shoe, and easier to get on), a better fit, and more affordable. We've had good success with the durability of School Issue over the years as well.

These shoes are handsome! My 11-year old has hard-to-please feet. He has flat, XXW feet, and always has a say about shoes. Not with this one. I told him to try it on and see if they fit well and if there is any problem with it. After a while, he said they actually did not need breaking in and that it was really comfy. I was surprised. I even tried it myself because we had the same size of feet. He was right -- and this was M not W! Can't say anything yet about durability or if they scuff easily, but coming from Florsheim, I think (hope!) those will be non-issues.

My son outgrew the first pair of these shoes before he outwore them and we ordered him same pair in his new size. He had the first pair for a year. The shoes are excellent quality and stylish for a kid who needs a wide cut dress shoe. Very comfortable too as he wears them for hours at a time running around and no complaints.

Shoe looks good and seems comfortable. My son will only wear it infrequently for special events, but he said that it fits well. I bought the wide because of the other reviews and it seems good, even though he doesn't usually wear a wide.

I needed boy’s dress shoes in a wide width for my sons. I bought the Hush Puppies, Florsheim Kids, and School Issue to compare (the only options in wide width). Both boys picked the Hush Puppies as most comfortable. The insole has great cushioning. The Florsheim was a close second choice. The School Issue had a very firm insole with minimal cushioning, and the leather looked plasticky.

Really nice shoe! This shoe fit my grandson's Little Kid size 10.5 W foot beautifully. The shoe is constructed well, it has a comfortable, supportive insole, and the leather looked like it would polish up well - if it got scuffed. Although my son and I preferred this shoe, my grandson preferred the Hush Puppies dress shoe. The Hush Puppies had a little more cushioning in the insole. This is a very nice dress shoe and I would recommend it.

Shoes are great, my son got alot of compliments. They are soft and very classy

My son never ever wears dress shoes, but we had to get a pair for a couple of upcoming events. He currently wears a size 3 XW New Balance sneaker that he's reaching his limits on (probably needs a 3.5 XW soon). After seeing many small sizing notes in this shoe's reviews, we settled on a 4 W and it seemingly fits very well. Again, he's only used them for a few hours at one event, with another upcoming, so not tested for long school days or such, but look good and feel good for our needs.

Great looking shoes. My 9 year old wore them all day and he says they are comfortable. I did order him a 1/2 size larger and a wide since he has wide feet. The wide isn't that wide. The shoe looks great and feels great.

Another high quality shoe for a little boy. Unfortunately, my son needs a double wide. He can't even get his foot into this one.
