My son needed dress shoes for a school concert. These are perfect -- softer and easier on his feet than the usual leather/faux-leather stuff made for kids. If your kids hate dress shoes because they're uncomfortable, here's your answer.

I love buying boy's shoes! I am a middle-aged woman who wears an 8 in women's shoes. The boy's size 6 fit me perfectly. They are comfortable and lightweight. I bought the white bucks and a gray pair. I have to put an arch support insert, but that's true of most of my shoes. The shape of the toe box is a little more square than I would choose, but that's probably why they are so comfortable.

I'm a 54 year old woman who looked everywhere for white bucks to wear with a seersucker suit and my other summer workwear. I couldn't find any anywhere! Then I remembered women can generally wear "big kids'" shoes, so I decided to give it a try. I wear a women's 8-8.5, and these "big kid/junior" shoes fit GREAT! Excellent support, wide toe box, which I greatly appreciate to accommodate bunions (lol). I won't hesitate to try this dandy shoe sizing trick again in the future. I am thrilled with my purchase!

My son loved these shoes immediately. He wore them for a piano recital and is going to wear them to his 5th grade prom. They are dressy but still have a laid-back, casual vibe, so they can be dressed up or down. Very sophisticated!

My son tried on three pairs of shoes, including a Johnson & Murphy pair. Florsheim wins again. They look great, but I knew that would be true. My son wore them yesterday for several and actually said they were "comfortable". That's big for a kid who lives in sneakers.

Shoes looked great and felt great on... once we GOT them on (Oy!) The back of the shoe was soooo soft, I needed to use a shoe horn to make sure the backs didn't tuck in as the foot went in. Loved the laces. Teaching the kids how to tie them... it's a lost art...(sigh).

The shoe is perfect. My 8 year old grandson is making his First Communion, and will wear them with his seersucker suit! Perfect!!

My son does not like "dress up shoes" but has no choice since he has to wear them for certain occasions. These fit the bill since they are comfortable, attractive, and most importantly have a padded bit that touches his Achilles' heel. He won't wear shoes that are stiff around his ankles, no matter how much memory foam are in the sole. He's a sneaker kid. Since these are slightly padded there, these are his favorite dress shoes. I tried to get him others, even from Florsheim Kids, but these are the ones. So I just buy the next size up when we need it. I like that they last and wear well, and the darker colors don't show much wear since scuff marks on the toe are inevitable.
