These are beautiful boots and I am so sad to send them back because of the bunion on my foot. The leather is the softest leather of any boot I've ever tried on. I also tried a similar style Lucchese. It was beautiful too, narrower, and considerably more expensive. I normally wear a 9/9½, but these boots run small and the 8½ is the right size for me (had they been wider in the ball of the foot for my bunion foot). Normal feet would be fine!

Really liked these boots. I normally wear an 8, ordered a 7 1/2, which I kept. I think a 7 may have also worked. They are very comfortable, and I only had a tough time getting them on the very first try. They have stretched and loosened a bit, and the tan color is better/darker than the photo. I have a wide foot, high instep, and am a runner with a developed calf. They fit great. Very happy with them.

I love these boots! I wasn't sure which size to get (I'm usually a 9-9.5) due to reviews saying it ran big, so I got an 8.5. Had trouble getting them on at first, but now they fit perfectly. Heel slips a bit, but from what I read heel slip is normal in a brand new pair of cowboy boots. Got the tan and love them!

I bought these as a Christmas present for my wife! She loves them, period. They are a bit slick at first so the soles need to be scuffed-up a bit on a rough sidewalk or pavement.

I love my Stetson boots. have been wearing them ever since they came in 4+ weeks, even walk my dog in them. Family is hoping for a change. Ordered several sizes (thanks to Zappos return policy) and kept the 8, I usually wear a 9 1/2. Amazing comfort and support. Highly recommended.

A beautiful pair of boots. Very comfortable. Just got back from a trip through the west and rode with them in Idaho and Montana. I'll wear them next to a party. Another reviewer mentioned that they ran a half size large, so I ordered a 7 1/2 rather than the 8 I usually wear, and they fit perfectly.

These boots are fine quality. The leather lining is like butter - so soft you really will not even believe it. I sized down half a size and while they fit for length and width, the heel slipped significantly and my pinky and fourth toes rubbed a bit. They also looked like the toes pointed inward, and I do not have weird feet. So I am reluctantly returning them.

On the suggestion of some of the other reviews I ordered this half a size smaller. I always wear a size 8 so I purchased a size 7.5. The second I opened the box I could tell they would be a little tight, which they were. Since I did not order my actual size of 8, I cannot tell you if they run small. I can tell you though that these boots will have to be returned, I know the leather will stretch and all but they were uncomfortable just walking around my house trying them on. Secondly, these boots have excellent craftsmanship. They are indeed handmade (in Mexico apparently, I was expecting it to be the US considering their hats are made in Texas) and are hand stamped with a number. Third, the color in the above photos shows these boots are having more of a red hue. They are in fact more yellow than anything and I would have liked them to be a bit darker color. Still on the fence if I should try a different size or just return them all together. The quality seems to be exceptional for the price and when you're spending this much that's always a big plus
