I'm very picky about my leggings. I've been wearing them for a few decades now, whether they're "in style" or not. After reading the reviews here about these Splendid French Terry Leggings, I thought I'd give them a try. Received them today, tried them on -- and instantly breathed a little sigh of relief. I don't have to return them -- because I love 'em! They fit perfectly. Comfortable. Not too long. Snug, but not too tight. Solid, sturdy material that's soft to the touch. (By the way, I am 5'8" and weigh 130 lbs. I ordered a size large.) These leggings are definitely a keeper.

Perfect leggings! These are not transparent at all (any reviewer who says they are has them confused with the modal leggings) They are a bit thicker than the other Splendid leggings but not hot or bulky in any way. Retain shape all day and are so comfortable -- ideal fit too! I wear a 6/8 pant, 28/29 jean and I took these in a M which was perfect. Gave them to all my girls for Christmas and now these are their favorite leggings too!

Obsessed with these perfectly opaque, soft, comfortable leggings. They are not super thick, but not see-through either. If you live in a colder climate and end up wearing leggings often, these are a good buy for the price. Highly recommend!

BEST LEGGINGS EVER! IM 5'8" 168LB ORDERED X-LARGE....

I love these leggings. I am usually a size 2-4 but I bought a size medium just so they'd be extra comfy. I think I could have stayed a size small, instead of the medium I got, because they are really high waisted on me. But, they are the comfiest leggings I have ever owned and they are thick, so they are not see through and perfect for fall and winter.

I wanted to get a pair of leggings that were warm enough to wear in the winter. I almost didn’t get these because they are more expensive than what I would usually spend on leggings, but I’m glad I did! They are a thicker material, and fit snug but not too tight and they aren’t see through. I wouldn’t wear these in freezing weather but would recommend these if you wanted a pair more geared for colder weather.

I absolutely love these leggings. If you told me that I would love a pair of leggings at this price I might have said that that is crazy, but these leggings are so soft, so comfortable that I am buying a second pair.

These leggings are awesome. Splendid leggings have a tendency to be transparent, so these thicker leggings totally solve over exposure. They're soft, flattering, and cover up a myriad of figure flaws (especially the black). This is my third pair. Comfortable enough to sleep in. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because they tend to pill, but still great leggings over all.

I am becoming a big fan of Splendid clothing. Their pieces are well made and incredibly comfortable and soft. I purchased these leggings because I love to wear leggings with boots during the winter months but my regular leggings weren't keeping me very warm. These leggings are soft and super comfortable. I do wish the waistband was a bid wider in order to provide a bit of tummy support. And another reviewer was correct in mentioning that the back of these leggings is somewhat transparent. This, however, does not bother me too much because I never wear leggings without something that covers my backside. They are also a bit longer but I don't mind that either because it provides for a bit of movement during the day. If you're looking for a warmer legging that is super comfortable, I recommend these.

Very nice leggings but too warm for my purposes. Wanted something a little loose so i bought the XL but they still fit like proper leggings.

Great leggings. Material thick enough to wear in public. 5'7" and plenty long for me. Very comfortable.

Really great fabric feel. They are long but that works for me at 5’9”, 160lb, got the Large and I’m happy. I also bought the small for my daughter who is 5’9” and 114lbs. Nice length for her as well. Might get more.

These are the leggings you've been looking for. Soft, opaque, not shiny, nice fabric, flattering, don't loosen up.

These leggings are great! I am not a fan of leggings, prefer sweatpants but have been trying to get on board with this trend. These leggings may convert me...they're soft, material is perfect, right amount of warmth, not itchy.... I ordered a medium, I'm 5'6, 130 pounds. They're keepers!

These are the best leggings I have found so far - thick, soft and warm. They are great for fall and winter. They are long but if you have long legs like me, size up. I'm 5'6" and 115 pounds and prefer these in a medium.

I love these leggings! I think I had gotten a pair at Costco a few years and had been looking for them ever since. They are casual and my everyday house pants in cooler weather. Very soft and the waistband is comfy. I’m 5’ 5” and they’re a bit long. I just let them bunch a bit at the ankle. I don’t mind this, as they’re soft and it doesn’t look weird. It would be easy to hem them.

These leggings are just the right weight, not too heavy and not see through. They weren’t on sale, so were pricey, but the fabric is very soft and I think they’ll wash well.

Super comfortable, Fit well but I’m only 5’4” n a small was a bit long but still worth keeping!

These are basically perfect leggings: very comfortable and opaque. I love them so much that I am going to buy a couple more pairs before winter. I am almost 5'10, ~125lbs and bought a size medium.

I am 5, 6" and a size 10 in most things. I got these in a large and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and slightly warm. I wore them to yoga and the gym and they do not bag anywhere. Great product.

These leggings are great! Not see through at all. I wore them in NYC recently where it is freezing, and they kept me warmer than wearing jeans! They are so comfortable and soft and keep their shape so far. I am going to order another pair!
