I received this jacket in the mail today, and I'm sending it back, unfortunately. First, it's not really black . . . it's like a charcoal grey or so. Second, it's sorta stiff looking. Lastly, for the price I expected something better. I will add that it feels warm . . . thick enough yet lightweight enough for spring/fall weather. It's not all that relaxed in fit, it's semifitted.

Love this jacket! I have had it a few months and typically only wear it in the cold. However, I was headed for the mountains this weekend and grabbed it. Needless to say, it was a life saver in the chilly temps overnight and in the mornings. :) It is light weight enough that it easily packs, warm enough for Fall and Spring temps (even in June!), is REALLY comfy (like wearing a little blanket), and cleans really well after a long dirty weekend! I am in love with this jacket :) Also, fo us tall girls, it is the perfect length!

This TNF RDT300 is very warm and cozy. I wore it shoveling show in 17 degree weather with only two light layers underneath. The hardest part was picking size but Zappos makes it easy with free shipping/returns. Maybe this will help, I'm 5'4, 158lbs, apple shaped, size 12 and I bought the XL and am happy I did. May have fit in the large but wouldn't be able to layer. I have TNF Denali in large and I can't layer under it. That might help someone for sizing. I got the black and as others have stated it's more of a very dk grey. If you want black, don't buy this one. Love the jacket...I'd get another just because! Not sure about the two toned ones.

My only qualm about this jacket is the color. It is more like dark gray and not a true black color as it was described. Other than that I love it ! Keeps me warm when I want to be outdoors on cold days (45-50 degrees).

I love North Face...the fabric is super soft, but the color is not a true black is more like an ashy black. I ordered a S and it fitted me perfectly, the sleeves were a little bit long but it's okay since it can cover part of your hands. I'm 5'3 and 130 lbs.

Very soft, very comfy. Only complaint, sleeves are super long (but this can be good to cover hands in cold weather).

Great jacket! Very warm. I am 164 lbs and 5ft 5in and ordered a large which is the perfect size. Super comfy. I would recommend to anyone.

I love this jacket. As others have said, it is more of a graphite than a true black, but I read the reviews beforehand, and knew what I would be receiving. It fits well, it's durable, and it looks great! It is one of the warmest fleeces I have ever owned, and I simply don't want to be without it!

Love this jacket! I have a puffy North Face coat and this one works as well. I have tried 5 different style North Face jackets and this by far is the best. The fit is the most flattering and more importantly it is so comfortable while keeping you snugly warm. Just to caution, at first I ordered the black (so cute) but with this type of material dog hair shows up easily. I exchanged for the white because you can't see it.

I love my jacket. It is true to size and very comfortable. Not quite as warm as I thought it would be but still love it. Shipping was great and super fast. Will buy from Zappos again.

Excellent 300 weight fleece jacket. Very soft. Great to wear indoors in winter and outdoors as an extra layer under a windproof shell.

I'm 5'4 125lbs and I bought an xs. It is quite snug, hits at my hips (perfect!) but I wanted to be able to wear it under jackets so this is perfect for me. But it means I can only wear a thin shirt underneath. However this fleece is super warm, amazingly soft and I've already washed once (on gentle cycle inside out) and air dried, an it washed really well. This is such better quality than the Columbia jacket I ordered and subsequently returned because the quality was lacking. I will definitely be ordering this again!

Love this jacket. I probably could have gotten a size small. The medium is long in the sleeves. Can't believe how warm this jacket is, and I live in Minnesota. Great buy.

I bought two for Christmas and we are so happy with them. I bought my daughter a large which fit her in through the shoulders although she wears a 12 in misses. I have narrow shoulders so a medium fit my shoulders but was a little snug elsewhere being we are about the same size. A good incentive to lose weight. This jacket is so warm but yet lightweight and comfortable as well as complements a small waistline. The only con is the color which is more of a charcoal rather than black but to me it's not a big deal. This is my favorite jacket and I like it much better than the newer styles of North Face. Super fast shipping and great customer service from Zappos keeps me coming back!

I searched all over the internet for a larger North Face Jacket.I even logged into The North Face page. I could not find anything larger than an XL. I wish the world would understand not everyone has a perfectly round body. I logged onto Zappos and found exactly what I was looking for. A size 2X pink and black North Face Jacket for my granddaughter Abby. I was very pleased in the time it took to ship especially duing the holiday season. My granddaughter loved the jacket and I am very pleased with the time and effort Zappos puts into serving their customers. Also I was amazed this morning to receive this email and asking for my review. I was very excited to learn there is a year return policy on my product. This jacket is perfect for fall. I haven't experienced winter in it yet, but I can layer it if I want to. Very cozy!

Literally the best fleece jacket I've ever owned. I own 3 Columbia fleece jackets and as soon as I received my North Face jacket from Zappos I immediately compared them. Well, let me tell you that the Columbia fleece jackets don't even compare to the North Face fleece jacket. The quality of the fleece used in this North Face is heavier and it seems to be more durable. I've worn my new North Face a few times, and it has kept me warm each time. I wore it this past weekend when I volunteered at a local festival, and it just happened to not only be cold but also very rainy. I would say that the temp was in the low 50s. The jacket not only kept me dry but it also kept me very warm and I had on nothing but a tank top and a cami underneath my jacket. Meanwhile one of my coworkers complained about being cold...and she had on a Columbia jacket and a scarf. I don't think I would wear this jacket by itself in the winter as it tends to get very cold in Ohio, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fall jacket or looking for something to keep them warm underneath their winter coat.

Love this jacket. The color is bright and fun. I am looking forward to wearing it this fall. It is cozy, soft and warm. The fit is good. I am 5' 3", 105 pounds and the xs is a great fit.
