They are nice and shiny. However, the top layer (the shiny black layer) is peeling off along the side and edges. You can't polish the shoes to restore the layer that is peeling off. I bought these in May 2013 and noticed the peeling in September 2013. I feel like that is not that long for shoes to be breaking apart.

I'm in the restaurant industry and on my feet 8-10 hours a night. The style of this shoe is perfect, not too classy yet professional since I wear a shirt and tie. Very lightweight and very comfy. I've had them for a year this month and thinking of buying them once again. After a year, the only wear is on the bottom of the shoe...they're slowly becoming non-slip resistant. Great shoe.

Funny thing actually, I meant to order the Florsheims of the same style; however, I am enormously pleased with this shoe. At 6'10", 300lbs, I take my shoes pretty seriously.

My second pair. I still use the first pair but it is showing its age. Have had them for over three years. The new shoes are not as shiny as the old ones.

For the price, the shoe is an excellent purchase. Good design, comfort, and fit. The leather is not premium (less pliable than expected) , but then the pricing is reasonable hence this is a bargain deal.

These fit perfect, true to size. This brand/style has been my go-to work shoe now for about 6 years. I'm glad Zappos continuesly sells these or else I don't know what I would do!

Love the shoe. As a Realtor we often have to shed our shoes for walkthroughs so these slip ons were one of my very first purchases long ago. I wore out a pair of size 9's and ordered a replacement S9. The new ones were too tight so returned and ordered a S9.5 which fit better.

These are great shoes especially for travel. I fly about 250,000 miles a year and these really keep your feet comfortable on those long days at the airport.

Very comfortable. This is my second pair. Wore the others out. Can be worn with jeans or dress pants. Very versatile. I have since purchased the same shoe in brown and like it as well.

Nice professional looking shoe that is VERY comfortable. My back thanks me for buying these. Sole is of a softer foam composite material and looks a little grey-ish when dirty. Overall great shoe and would buy again.

The sizing system is a little bit on the smaller size so generally I wear an 13 extra extra wide but was not wide enough and ordered a14 xw(4e) my foot fits. I work in a kitchen so something with no laces was appealing. Says slip resistant. Just not in a kitchen. Lol. After a month wearing it the comfront technology is loosing its love to be comfront. Also it's starting to bubble alittle bit.

I work in the F&B industry and got these shoes for work. The Bleeker St. are super light weight and they break in easily. They have good soft padding around the top rim of the shoe so they don't rub against your foot that much. The insole on the other hand is not comfortable at all. The shoes were initially very slip resistant but week after week they become less slip resistant and I've only had these shoes for about a month. Overall I wouldn't buy these again and I will be going back to my regular Dockers Society.
