All around great mid/long distance running shoe. I started wearing the Kayano after a knee/IT band injury and have been in them ever since. Worth the money, the support doesn't break down as quickly as other brands I've tried. These run small -- the only pair of size 8 I have worn in my life (usually a 7 in regular shoes, 7 1/2 in athletic shoes, and I wear a Kayano size 8). Maybe not quite as cushy as the 18 but the flash looks like Pegasus and unicorns.

First time wearer and couldn't be more pleased. Over-70 gym nut who needs wider toe box and cushioned soles has found her match in the Asics Gels. This after years with New Balance which do not come near these in comfort and performance.

I love the Gel-Kayano running shoe. I have been wearing since the early days. The 18 didn't seem to be a durable so hoping that 19 will be more like the previous ones.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and had been trying to walk more. I went from a high quality walking shoe to another Asics running shoe. I was having so much pain that I wanted to quit. My husband does not own anything but Asics so he got me into the Kayano. These shoes are so well cushioned they took away my foot pain. They "fixed" my over pronation. I walk straighter with less back, hip and foot pain. I put these on and feel like I am walking on cushions but not so soft I fell like I am slogging through mud. I will buy many more of the Kayanos.

Pricey but worth it! The best sneakers I ever bought. For my bad feet (tendinitis, bunion, flat footed) they are so comfortable. Like walking on clouds.

I love these shoes! I have only been running for a few years and have worn Nike Zoom Vomero but the Asics Gel Kayano 19 are so much more comfortable and supportive. I like the cushy feel in the heel area. These did not need any break in time. I put them on for the first time and immediately ran 5 miles with no problems. I only wish the fun, bright colors came in a wide width. The gray is a little boring for my taste.

I like these shoes. I am a big fan of the ASICS Gel shoes and have had several pairs. I have a heel spur and these shoes enable me to continue walking for exercise. The shoes are well padded on the inside and the sole. They were comfortable immediately. I did require a bigger size then usual. Had to send the first shoes back. I just wish I could have bought a different color. I really wanted some of the bright ones, but they didn't come in wide widths. ASICS needs to give more color choices.

The Gel-Kayano is usually my go-to running shoe, but for some reason, I decided to try the Gel-Kahana 6 instead of the Gel-Kayano 19 on my last shopping trip. What a mistake! After a couple of months of running on the treadmill, I started having some serious, worrying knee problems. I immediately purchased the Gel-Kayano 19 from Zappos in an attempt to save my knee, and from my first step in this shoe, my knee pain reduced significantly. My knee is still a little wonky and stiff and recovering, but it never bothers me during a run in this shoe.

These sneakers feel great, feel so light and comfortable! I did have to get a half size larger than my other sneakers but with Zappos that was no problem. Yay Zappos!

I tried on several pairs of sneakers/running shoes, and these were the most comfortable. I don't run any longer, but I always walk fast. I recently wore these on my flight to Hawaii and they were super comfortable. They are slightly narrow for my foot, but I purchased 2 pairs and kept the widest of the 2. I love the colors (black/pink/green) and got compliments. We went zip lining and they were covered with red dirt. They washed up perfectly - I am very happy with them! The only thing is that I would have preferred to have wides, but they only make wides in the grey/blue color and I don't like that combination. I checked with the Asics myself and the only color they offer wides in is the blue/grey color.

I really like these. Have the support I need. I did buy inserts to put in though to give more stabilization - but I'm about to order a 2nd pair!

I'm very hard to fit and hard to please. After trying at least a dozen brands in at least two different sizes, I came back to my old favorite. Asics. You get what you pay for. These aren't cheap shoes, but they're worth it.

Great fit and comfort. The wide width really helps with my foot issue--Morton's Neuroma. Would definitely recommend these. My orthotic for arch support fits well in the shoe.

I am disapointed in that I ordered the Asics Gel Kayano 19 in my normal size of 9.5 wide and it ran small.

Lightweight, comfortable, and great support. I'm an Asics Gel-Keyano fan, and this new offering does not disappoint.

My wife loved the shoe. On the second wearing the eyelet broke while lacing. I am more than confident Zappos will fix the problem. Go big Z!

I have been a New Balance customer for years - decided to try a change - these shoes are awesome. I wear a true size 13 and they feel wonderful! Would have preferred a more toned down color scheme.

Best running shoes ever! Comfortable and ready for running right out of the box. Zappos is the best!

I loved them! They provide good arch support, nice toe room, as good as it gets for my feet! I did add more arch support! There is room for insoles.

I'm relatively new runner but I LOVE these shoes! They are so feather light. My feet and ankles do not roll in them at all. They give excellent support for the arch as well. Well worth the investment for me! And I get a lot of compliments on the look of them too. :)

I love this shoe! It fits so well and provides great support. I walk 10-13 miles/week. I actually underpronate, but this shoe feels neutral. I wear a 12N and these shoe are so much more streamlined than the Mizunos I was wearing. My feet look at least a size smaller! Hooray!

Love these shoes. This is the 4th pair of Asics Kayano's I have owned. Like the new bright colors. I am a casual runner doing the occasional 1/2 marathon or 10 mile run. I usually buy a new pair of running shoes every year and Asics never let me down. Zappos is also awesome as I know I can always return them free if they don't work out!

This shoe is amazing. I am training for the Bellin Run. This shoe is amazing. You can take out the cushioning (although it didn't say that in video). This is an amazing shoe! Good job Asics, I love them!
