At first I loved this shoe. Great arch support, cushioning, adjustable and not too bulky. But alas, there's a seam that rubs against my lower heel that just irritates too much for $100. I could put a bandaid on my foot each time, but would I? Sent back

I really wanted this Ecco style to fit well and be comfortable since it looks less clunky than the Yucatan style, but the metatarsal support on the right foot was too uncomfortable for long walks. I returned the shoes.

This is my second pair of this sandal. I was happy to throw the old ones away when the new ones arrived. I wear these as my walking shoes all summer long where it is too hot to wear a sneaker and socks. These are very supportive and work great for the job that I want them to do. I wear a 39 in Danskos and a 39 in these fit perfectly. They are not the most beautiful sandals around but they are great for your feet when you are on the go.

Length seemed true to size - I normally wear either a women's 10 or 11 and an 11 fit me length-wise in these. But they were too wide for me, unfortunately. I have normal width feet - sometimes I even buy men's shoes - but I'm having a hard time finding sandals that will fit snugly for light hiking. I had high hopes for these Eccos based on someone else's review, but they were just shy of having enough adjustability. Lovely color and otherwise very comfortable.

I loved the sandal but the sides are gapping and it was a little bit too short for a size 9. Ecco really should have half sizes. Would have definitely kept these shoes but the gapping and being too small does not justify the price.

Disappointed in the footbed, too mushy and no support especially for Ecco and the price. The sturdy rubber sole kind of makes up for it. I wear a shoe size 7 but have always found Ecco on the big side so I ordered a 37 as usual and it fits great. The color Moonrock is really nice, much more neutral than in the picture, like a dark gray or pewter. I'm only using it to kayak so I will be keeping it, but if it had a decent footbed I would absolutely love this sandal and buy more. It lacks the comfort I expect from Ecco but it's really cute.

Too bad...this shoe is perfect in every way except the middle side of the shoe (between the adjustable straps) buckles a little and looks sloppy. Just a poor design flaw. Had to return them even though they felt great on!

These shoes are very cute, and I love the color but...being an older person with various foot problems they do not work for me. They are comfy, but have no stability, and even though it looks like they have an arch support it doesn't work. They also gape on the sides at the small toe. I have tried on the Ecco Yucatan in stores and those seems to be a bit more beefy, with a better arch, and the sides did not gape. I wish I could wear these because I like their look, but I will have to be returning them.

I've spent a lot of time trying to find a comfortable walking sandal. My left foot has a bunion and an injury to the same area, as well as a condition which affects the arch of my foot. I like the color and outer material, the three adjustable straps, and the inner and outer soles of the sandal. Unfortunately, on both feet, the piece that covers the bunion area rubs and irritates the skin. :-( I've covered it with moleskin, so it's less abrasive, but it's still a problem. There's no way I could tell this would happen until I had been walking for awhile and I have no idea if others are having the same experience. Otherwise, I like the sandal.

Ordered the wonderful periwinkle version of this sandal but despite the 3 straps for adjustments, couldn't make this style work. Too much volume, too much stretch in the fabric liner. Well made and lightweight but wide everywhere. Too back. Hope ECCO continues to make sandals in this color!

Thought the indigo/light purple doesn't look anything like the picture and is actually more like a faded light purple, I liked it...it was something different. The sandal is very lightweight and comfortable with fully adjustable straps. It's not as clunky looking as others I have tried. I was hoping for something with more arch support. My big toe extends over the edge on the side and the outer side gaps... which others have noted as well... so unfortunately it's going back.

I had hoped the adjustable toe strap would accommodate my bunion, but it is very narrow. The design clearly intends the strap across the forefoot to be fully closed. They are no more comfortable or "forgiving" than if it was a single solid piece. I really hoped they would work, but back they go. I really appreciate Zappos free returns when I try to find shoes for my difficult feet.

This is a beautiful walking shoe. The style is perfect. The fit is perfect too. BUT... The synthetic fabric used for inside lining of the straps and the rough stitching felt like sandpaper on my feet. I had to return these shoes and bought Cobb Hill Fiona instead (very similar style, same perfect fit and great SOFT fabric on the inside).

Not a bad sandal but like the other similar styles the front toe strap does not adjust and does not provide enough width adjustment. It needs more arch support as well.

I wore my previous Ecco sandal, the Yucatan, for many years (hiking in desert and mountains) until they wore out. I ordered the Sport Cheja for a change, but while it feels comfy and looks cute (I got the Shadow White), I am returning it. It is missing one very important feature that the Yucatan has: the stretchy fabric "under strap" across the toes that reinforces the adjustable Velcro strap on top. This is essential for me, as I have E width feet complete with bunions, and without the elasticated fabric strap, my feet would burst through the unsupported Velcro top strap like the Incredible Hulk on a rampage. For average or narrow width feet, this shoe is probably fine, especially if you're wearing it just to walk on city terrain. But on a twisty-turny hiking trail, I need more reinforcement. As always, Zappos' service is the best in the retail universe.

Nice looking sandal, but the 39 is more of a size 9 than 8-8.5. Had to return them. Three stars because I could not really wear them, but it seems like the footbed is less cushioned than other sandals of similar style. The MoonRock/Emerald color is attractive. If you like this style but need to fit a true size 8M, consider Clarks Morse Tour.

I really was hopeful that these sport shoes would be good for my feet, but after trying them out for a few days, I walked in them for 2 hours and my feet were in such pain, and the next day I could hardly walk. Even though they have some support, I probably need a higher arch.

Way too narrow and I don't have a wide foot. It's a shame because they were comfortable in every other way. Wish they made these in wide width.

The white color was nice but this shoe runs quite wide. Unable to compensate for extra width by tightening top strap. Thinner sole than the Yucatán model. Returned them.

Was very disappointed in how hard and painful the sole was on these sandals. I could not wear them, even with an orthotic. After having read all of the positive reviews, I was hopeful that these would work with my metatarsalgia, but I had to return them. In addition, the forefoot strap was too short to accommodate my orthotic.

These just don't work for me at all. I tried walking just one mile in them and couldn't wait to get them off. I find that for me, there is zero arch support. And the front straps rub uncomfortablely. They sure are cute but that's about all. I wish I could return them.

I've had foot pain my whole life, and suffer from occasional bouts of plantar fasciitis. The only shoes I can really walk in all day are my Asics running shoes or my Zamberlan hiking boots. I bought these sandals not expecting to be able to wear them for all day walking, since I can't do that with any sandal, but I was expecting to wear them for short walks and maybe an afternoon of shopping/errand running. No such luck. After about 3 hours of running errands, my feet were absolutely killing me. They seem to have no arch support at all, and I think that may be the problem. Even the next day my feet still hurt. If you have really bad feet like me, pass on these. I bought a pair of Keen sandals at the same time, and they are much more comfortable.
