I got these because I have trouble with two calve tears and the last one took three weeks before I could run. I wore these on my first run after recovery and have ever since. They feel great and I do not worry about calf tears any more. I tried the Zensah Ultra but they were too tight for my taste so I returned them. I now wear them every day, all day because they are so comfortable. I have worn compression socks in the past but could not wait to get the off at the end of the day and eventually stopped wearing them. I am on my feet a lot at work and will continue using these.

I am 5'3", and my calf circumference measured outside of the small size. I sized down anyways because I am so short, and I am glad that I did. Since they are compression sleeves, they are supposed to fit tightly. I can tell after I have worn them for a long time or several days in a row that the elasticity in them is a little bit loose, so if I had gotten the bigger size they might not be tight enough to serve their purpose. Obviously if you fall within a size range, go with the size that fits you. But if you are between sizes, I would definitely size down! I am ranking the style as four stars because they are not meant for making a fashion statement. They do look sort of goofy when you are out and about, but a common sight at running events. I like that these are just the sleeves and not full socks like other compression products. I am picky about the socks I wear when I race, so this gives me the freedom to choose my socks and also receive the benefits of compression. It is also nice when I do not want to wear socks at all, like when I am recovering around the house.

I ordered these to provide some compression when working out and when running. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. I ordered based on the size chart and they fit perfectly. I love the vibrant purple color and use them very often. I plan to purchase another pair in pink soon. They're a bit pricey but are good quality and comfort.

I love these socks! I am training for a marathon, but the stitching on the top has come undone.

I ordered this after enduring a partial tear of my right gastroc (in calf). had heard good things about compression sleeves, so I thought that I would try. I am glad that I did. It got me through a long photo shoot that I could not cancel just days after the injury. It is really kind of amazing how much support you get out of such a simple thing like this. It is worth it.

These compression sleeves have been quite good. I regularly use them for my mid-distance training runs (15-20 miles) and have noticed a significant improvement in recovery post-run, even from some particularly tough trails. As for compression, they are quite mild, but appropriate for my usage. Not only that, but the red and purple are pretty fun.

Good. If you have short legs they are a little long because they are not women's sizes. I still like them and they work good.

These are amazing! Hubby and I wear them on longer runs during training for marathons, and on the marathon itself, as well as afterward, and they really help keep your legs from feeling so worn out!

I use these after run recovery for compression of my calfs. They look dorky when worn with running shorts but I will probably try wearing them when I switch over to long pants for cold weather. Zappos' order and delivery service rocks!

I wear these to help with my circulation - as I get dizzy a lot and have leg pain due to pooling of the blood in my legs. These do help somewhat. I would definitely order larger rather than smaller if you're on the fence about size. I ordered the biggest size, and they are still small on me. I'm tall and slim - but not extremely tall, so I just wonder how these could possibly fit a tall man/big man. Also, the price is really high. It seems like they take advantage of the fashion-consciousness of the runner crowd, which is probably categorized as "affluent" in their marketing demographics plans.

My husband bought me some of these as I started training for a 5K but got really bad pain in my shins and calves. Big difference! These help hold my lower leg together, so to speak, and so I don't feel as much muscle tightness and pain while running. But they're still flexible and not too hot.

I would say that I recognize the main benefit for my recovery time or my before run time. I ran with them for the first time today and my legs felt heavier, but perhaps I need to get use to them. However, before my run my shins splints felt calmer and ready to go. So,all-in-all I would say that they are a benefit to my routine.

At 58, everything is starting to hurt. Recently starting having calf and hamstring pulls that happen a mile into a 5k. Bad enough that ended up walking and then taking weeks off. Compression sleeves seem to work. I may feel slight pain but nothing like without them. Zensah brand work fine and well worth the cost. Wasn't sure of the advertising but mine came as a pair not a single sleeve making purchase a good deal.

Wow! These are great! Shin splints in my left leg that no amount of RICE or exercises made go away. Not wanting to give up running, I ordered these. The pain is still there, but with the sleeve it's tolerable. Definitely worth the money. Thanks!

I love these compression leg sleeves. I'm on my feet all day long and don't like wearing the compression socks because they make my feet sweat, so instead I wear these and my legs feel great, not tired at the end of the day.

I purchased these sleeves with hopes they would help with circulation but I barely feel any compression and they tend to slide down. The sleeves seem short to me as I prefer them at my ankle rather than above it and right below my knee where these fall about half an inch below preference. While I do not care for the fit, they are comfortable and keep my legs warm. If you are looking for compression, I like CEP much better.

Thumbs up from a distance runner! These compression sleeves are great both for running distances or for recovery. They seem to help with soreness/stiffness the next couple of days after a long weekend run.

These are super fun! Granted, they didn't do exactly what I wanted them to; my shin splints were actually so bad that I had to take up a different workout other than running. But even then, I love them while I'm biking! I wear shorts and hate it when stems or branches hit my legs, so these work great for that, while offering a bit of support. And not to mention, I love the color! (I got the bright pink.)

Yay! After a full week in posterior tibial tendonitis (a.k.a. shin splint) pain I opted to try the compression leg sleeves from Zensah via Zappos. After one night of R.I.C.E. the inflamation had shrunk more than 50 percent. It feels so good that I was tempted to do a 5K this morning but I didn't. At this rate it should be completely healed by tomorrow or the next day. I plan on wearing these everytime I run and to bed. They are super comfortable to sleep in too. I got a full size smaller and they fit me perfectly. I am 5'4 with a 14 inch calf circumference. Worth the money! Love the neon green color.

Great for long haul travel. Just did 10,000 miles and wore them a lot. A very good buy...not too tight, comfortable and well made.

Zensah compression sleeves are the best. For extra compression....you should size down. If you are prone to calf cramps or shin splints, give these a try. I ordered them in the morning from Zappos and the next day. I received them. Can't beat the service.

These are the best things ever invented makes legs feel light and energetic and helps end shin split pain and any soreness quickly I want them in all the colors!
