I ordered two of these - one in the 28 and one in the 29 - just in case. I am keeping the 28 and agree with the other reviewer, the fit is a little bigger. However, for someone that is petite and hourglass/athletic (think cheerleader build) these jeans are perfect. They are a little more roomy in the thigh but not huge or hanging off and the fit in the backside is great. I have other Joe's Jeans cuts and honestly think I like this fit better.

Wonderful jeans. Perfect rise to prevent muffin top. This wash is a beautiful dark color and the material has the right amount of stretch. I wear these at least once a week!

My new favorite jeans. I am 5' 4" and 112 lbs. and the 24 waist is perfect. A little more room (and comfort) than the Bridget and after a full day of wear they still look good in the rear (I was worried that they would get too loose and baggy). Flattering jeans. I Just ordered a second pair and hope Joe's will continue to make these!

Jeans are great. Perfectly proportioned for petite size. They run a bit big so had to return the first pair. Problem is that was the first week of august and I still don't have my refund money. Have already called Zappos. This is taking way too long. Not happy about it!

I've had my first pair of Joe's Provocateur in Ryder for over two years, they're my favorite jean. Glad to see Joe's started making them again. I've had other pair of premium denim that are almost TOO super-soft and stretchy. These are soft, but more like a jean. I will be wearing these all the time. I did have to return the first pair, as other posters have said they do run bigger than my other Joe's Provocateurs. I usually wear a 29 and had to size down to 28. Zappos was great handling the return.

My new pair of favorite jeans, I love them so much I am tempted to order a second pair as a back up. Very comfortable fit, soft material, perfect length for heels, and a beautiful wash. Pocket placement has a slimming effect.

I am 5'6" and 125lbs and size 26 fit perfectly. Love the wash and the slimming cut - perfect for a low heel or cuffed for a flat.

Great pair of jeans that are actually a petite length! The fading and whiskering is nicely done and the rise is just right (right under naval, no butt exposure when bending or sitting). I ordered both a size 28 & 29. The 28 was a perfect fit, though I knew they would stretch out a little. I have plenty of size 27 jeans that are a little too snug right now :( so I wanted a slightly looser pair. I am 5'3, 127 pounds and have muscular legs. These jeans are a little too long for flats, but they are the perfect length to wear with low heels and wedges. After a gentle washing and drying, the inseam is 31 inches. They do stretch out, so if you are uncertain about your size you might need to order two sizes--the one you usually wear and the one smaller.

I love these jeans. I'm 5'5" and after washing the length is perfect for low heels. The fit is great. I do not think the thighs are baggy at all. I have pretty average thickness thighs -I weigh 128. What sets these apart for me is that I like jeans with a higher rise so they don't feel like they are always falling off and I like a darker wash with not much whiskering or much fading. These have both. The fabric is very soft. They do run very large. I find this with Joes in general and with this fit in particular. I ordered a few pairs of CofH and in a 28 they were pretty tight and I likely would need a 29 but in these I was able to comfortably get into a 27. The 28 was pretty good too but I was afraid of stretching.

Yep. they are a little fuller cut. I have an athletic build and a larger frame and these fit perfect. Less fullness in the buns than the honey booty. These are a better fit for solid frame but less buns than someone that loves the honey booty. Love that there is enough rise so that your buns crack doesn't show when you squat down!

The pants are comfortable and nice fabric. But they are much larger than size suggests. The leg opening is 17" which is 7" larger than the skinny version or the 15" leg opening of a Hudson jean. I usually wear a 27 in jeans given my thicker legs. I took a 26 in these jeans and they were still too big. You take at least one size smaller than normal.

Really liked the color/wash of these Joes, but seemed a little too baggy through the leg. Had to return.

I ordered these in Size 28 and they fit amazingly every except for my waist. There was no way they were going to stay up without a belt. I love the wash and the fit in the legs, rump, and thighs. But I do like my jeans to stay on. I would have exchanged them for a size 27 in Ryder, but there were none available.

I found the rise on these jeans not be high enough, not a typical length for midrise. The rise needed to be an inch higher (have to have a midrise or I get bit of mushroom top). They were though flattering in the bottom and wash/color very nice. The material was a little itchy for some reason. Along with these jeans I bought a pair of a different brand that were half as much, rise perfect, very flattering, and super soft. With that to compare it too I couldn't justify the price at all and had to return. Overall they weren't too bad and I probably would have kept them if they were a third the price.
