I really liked these boots. I got the green ones and I loved the color. They are super cute. They are as comfortable as any other boot I have. The only reason I returned them is because I have smaller calves and they were just too big at the top, my legs looked silly sloshing around in these boots.

These are gorgeous boots in a beautiful reddish burgundy color. However, sizes larger than 7, on which the published dimensions are based, are an increasingly larger circumference at the top opening. This definitely decreases the boot's appearance as it widens at the top. It's no longer a straight leg, slim boot as is pictured. This was very disappointing. There are many women who wear larger than a size 7 who have slim/normal calves. I'm still debating whether to return them. Also, there's not a lot of support in the sole. Adding a gel insert for the ball of the foot helps a lot.

I expected these boots would be awesome, based on others reviews. my legs are quite thin and muscular and the width around the boot shaft was miserably WIDE. I am a true size 11 and the fit of the shoe part was perfect. I ordered it in the green color which is more or less an olive drab/khaki. They were beautiful, but best for thicker legs. Back they go. :(

I love these boots in the picture sooo much! I wish I could keep them but they are too roomy around the calf. I feel such a cute boot needs to be more slim fitting. Otherwise adorable!

I love these boots! My sister in Olympia had a pair and I fell in love with them. I got many compliments on these. I bought them in red.They are the most expensive footwear that I have ever purchased. My only complaint is that the buttons near the bottom have worn off very quickly. After only two or three wears (never in snow or rain) the leather on the buttons has come off partially. That makes them look worn out and I do not know what to do about it. I would think that they would be very hard to match color-wise. I believe it was from crossing my legs at the ankles, which I do often. But otherwise, they are comfortable (and I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that are comfortable after a couple of hours). I can wear them all day with no trouble at all. So I will keep them, but I really want to find a few buttons to replace the damaged ones.

These are beautiful boots and pretty comfortable. I have worn them for a full day, at work and running around with my kids and my feet felt great. That said, they run a bit small and the toe box is snug. I wear a size 10 and I can't wear regular boot socks with these so I wear thin trouser socks with them and it's fine.

I bought these boots in red and absolutely love them. Only complaint is that after only a few wears, in dry weather, the leather on the buttons started to wear off. I'm sure it's from crossing my legs, but I never expected that kind of wear and tear in such a few wearings. I don't know if anything can be done to remedy this, but these are the most expensive boots I've ever bought and I feel they should have held up a whole lot better. The rest of the boot is fine and beautiful. I love the color, the feel, and the fit. Very comfy and I get all kinds of compliments.

This was my first Miz Mooz boot purchase, but have friends who love this brand. This boot is adorable! I get compliments whenever I wear them! One thing worth noting is my calves are pretty muscular from cycling, and with skinny jeans on these boots barely zip (I wear a size 6 in this boot). So make note of the calf circumference in the dimensions. However, since wearing them the calf has stretched out and relaxed more, and it does have a small elastic "V" section at the top for a little wiggle room. Overall amazing boots, will buy this brand again!

I've had these for 3 winter seasons now and they are really great. I have the red pair. The leather is nice, but not fantastic - a bit stiff and grainy, but for a reasonably priced boot the quality is fine. They fit totally true to size, I am an 8 and that's what I have in these. The arch support (as others mentioned) isn't fantastic so I can't wear these two days in a row or my back takes a beating. All in all, I'm very happy with these for the price. I always get a ton of compliments on these.

Comfy boot. Runs a bit big. I normally wear 8.5, but found it too big in this boot. Size 8 was perfect even with socks.

I LOVE the look of these boots, and wish I could have them in every color. Two cons: first, walking in them is like walking on cement. They were a little tight initially with a cushiony insert, but that didn't last long at all. Otherwise, they were perfectly comfortable. Second, the shaft is a little wider than listed, I think. I totally ignored this and wore them, anyway.

This is a really cute boot. The detail with the folds and buttons dresses this easy-going, casual boot up and it looks great with skinny jeans or leggings and a sweater or even a cute little skirt or dress. I have worn them just about every day since they arrived. The fit was just ever-so-slightly large, but it worked out perfectly because a gel Dr. Scholl's foot/arch liner fit in and made these boots fantastic to wear all day long! (Being comfortable is extremely important to me.) The first day I wore them we were out of town for the weekend and it rained the whole time. The color on the top of the boot at the toes seemed to wear off and I was happy upon our return home that my husband had shoe polish that took care of that issue. I have had to touch them up a few times since in that same area. Other than that, I am happy with this purchase and have received many compliments on these boots! Have a great day!

Scratches very easily. I barely wore them and the scuff marks made me question the quality. Exterior has a cheap appearance.

Miz Mooz are my favorite shoes because I have difficulty finding boots to fit my narrow legs. (I am 5'1" - 105 pounds.) Their boots are typically narrow to fit my legs - unfortunately these were about an inch too wide at the top. The quality is fabulous - still wearing two other pairs from 4 years ago. No wear showing.

Love these boots! I bought them in red years ago and they are still in perfect condition despite frequent wear. Bought the grey pair about a year ago and the quality isn't great. The color has scuffed off in many spots and the teeth of the zipper have torn off the zipper tape. I'm disappointed that Miz Mooz quality seems to have gone down...

Gorgeous boots, beautiful leather. But the footbed? Super hard, zero padding, zero arch support--utterly lacking in love for a working woman's feet. I wish Miz Mooz would match their fashion acumen with some consideration for practicality and comfort. I want to wear these boot every day, but even with insoles added, they just feel bad.

I thought these boots looked pretty good - unusual style and color (navy). But after getting them, I just could not justify paying this much for boots that really looked more like cheap boots. They were also extremely roomy around the calf even though they were not listed as wide.

I love the style of these boots, and they're very comfortable. They are, however, very wide in the calf. I had to take mine to a cobbler, who took several inches off the backs. (They were measured with jeans tucked in.) If your calves are wide, you'll love these. If not, you probably won't without alterations.

These boots were very stylish and seemed comfortable but my calf was swimming in it. Unfortunately, it had to go back. Such a bummer.

These are worth considerably less. They are super cute, have a nice roomy round toe-box, and are nearly flat - that is the good stuff. I have had them for a while now, and have to say that the quality is pretty poor. The footbed is flat and hard, making them less comfortable than you think when you try them on. Insoles help some. I cannot believe that they are real leather. Up close, it is cheap shiny stuff that flakes and scuffs off over time. The seam across the top of the foot is hard and unyielding, and also lets water in when it really rains. That said, they really are very nice looking - I get compliments on them all the time. I just wish that they were more comfortable and held up better.

The color of the boot is not as it appears in the picture. In reality, the boot is more raspberry colored, darker and tending towards burgundy/purple. The heel looked different too. Simply black rather than a brown and black tabby.

I have these boots in red and love them so much that after a few seasons, I decided to also get them in green. I ordered my original red pair through a department store's narrow calf boot category. When I observed Zappos was advertising the narrow circumference of 13", it seemed like the green pair would also fit very well. Unfortunately, after ordering 2 pairs, it is clear that the circumference is 15", which is significantly larger than advertised. In addition, the leather on the second pair was of low quality, appearing and having an odor consistent with plastic. I have 4 other Miz Mooz boots of various styles, so the quality issue seems to be an aberration (although unacceptable just the same), but the fit issue is incredibly dissappointing.

I was looking for a boot to replace my well-worn Miz Mooz Casablanca boots. These are not them. The Bloom has the same roomy toe box and low heel, but the shaft is truly knee-high, and runs large. I wear a size 9 and the shaft circumference is 15.5", without stretching the elastic one bit. I ordered these same boots on Amazon just to see if there was a variance or that maybe I had received the extended calf version by accident, but I did not. A second pair of size 9 Blooms were also 15.5 around the calf. So the shafts gaped and with the buttons and folds along the outside edges of the boots, these made my lower legs look like tree trunks. The shaft also is not tapered enough to be snug in the ankle, so although it looks like it would be a close-fitting boot from the pictures, it actually fits more like a round-calfed riding boot. I'm going to try the Monica style to see if it is a sleeker fit. The quality of the leather of these was fine, which was heartening because I have also tried the Miz Mooz West boot and the leather on those was so thin that I was able to see the seam allowances over the whole boot and glue paths over the heel, which made them look cheap. For me the Bloom boots were true to size, but the shaft was just too big and loose so they are going back.

I was so disappointed to receive these boots in the mail! I am an average/thin woman, and these boots were enormous around my calves. Such a bummer that this style has the option of "wide calf," but not "narrow calf."

I had been eyeballing these boots for the longest time. Although I read so many mixed reviews I decided to finally purchase them when the grey was back in stock. When I received the boots I was unfortunately disappointed. The grey leather had a slight sheen which I could have lived with but the leather was thin (poor quality?) like others had mentioned and the circumference around my calf was way to big. I have skinny legs and prefer my boots to sit closer to my leg. My friend bought the green ones some time ago and hers looks great...did something change with Miz Mooz over the years? Regardless, they sadly went back.
