This does what it is intended for. Positives: the sea green is a beautiful color with just enough white to make it pop; it carries a lot of things and is easy to pack; Very adjustable and user friendly. Negatives: There is not a padded slot for your laptop and iPad, Zipper is difficult to use, especially on the top, and for the size of the backpack the organizational pocket is quite small.

This bag is very hard to get items in and out. Zipper needs to go lower so the bag opens up more for easier access.

Over all its a good pack. I liked the High Sierra Tactic better. Love the flexible suspension straps.

Bought for my daughter going into middle school. It was too small, could not fit a binder and a lunch box in it. She loved the design and the color, too bad it doesn't come in a bigger size.

Nice bag, but those shoulder straps..... It's just not comfy, and forget about slinging one strap over your shoulder on the run cuz it's just not possible. Decent bag for the price, but it needs an overhaul in the strap design. I returned it.....

If you are on a budget or don't want to spend much money, this backpack is pretty good. It has a nice style and has a lot of organization and compartments. I was giving it as a gift and thought it looked/felt on the cheap side so I returned it. The material fabric is cheap and stiff. But again, for the low price, it may be a good option for some.

Although the small accessory pockets are nice and the straps are comfortable, the overall feel and make of the backpack is cheap. I ordered the Black Threads/Red Lines style and it looks gaudy in reality. A big disappointment. I've had L.L. Bean backpacks all my life and they are excellent. I thought I'd try something new, but, I'm definitely going back.

Cute but broken after 3 weeks of LIGHT use. We bought because of all the cute patterns and the extra space for snow clothes in the winter. My 1st grader came home embarrassed that her decorative keychains fell off her backpack walking down the hall because the metal part of the front clip fell off... we've only been using it for a single folder and her lunchbox and the part that broke was hardly being used, so I'm not confident how it will hold up when we need to put more in there.

I bought this for my 8th-grade son's school backpack. He carries about 30lb+ worth of textbooks and a Chromebook, etc. We ordered this because his last High Sierra had excellent durability, support, & quality and lasted for a whole school year. We expected the same, but this one has a lot LESS durability, support, & quality. Shoulder strap looked cheaper and fragile. Maybe this is good for hiking or travel, but not for heavy-duty school use. We thought about returning and get a swiss army type backpack. Don't recommend for school use.

The seam on one of the inner pockets completely was not sewn on. Did not want the hassle of sending it back so I am attempting to glue it. It was very disappointing

Like bag when it first came. Was able to get everything I needed in it. First time the bag was uswd on a trip one of the seams started coming apart. I wrote to company about replacement or what I needed to do to see about making things right and still have not heard back them them. It has been a month ago.

I was very pleased with Zappos very fast service but very disappointed with the back pack. The material was extremely flimsy and cheap. I bought a different backpack with canvas instead. I'll keep this just to take to the gym or sleepovers. If you need something sturdy, this is not the backpack.

this is a terrible backpack. i bought it for school and within the first week multiple pockets ripped, not to mention there's absolutely no space in it whatsoever. if this backpack doesn't work for a high schooler who doesn't even carry textbooks how would it work for a trip?

On the 5th day of buying, the bottom strap tore out. I was just using it for my school. Never carried more than 5 lbs. I also complained to high Sierra but no one responded. I am really disappointed from high Sierra this time.

I bought this for my 6th grader. It ripped at the seam within two weeks of school. We had it fixed and now it has ripped another time in a different area. I would not recommend this particular backpack.

I had a similar High Sierra backpack that my dog unfortunately chewed up. I therefore ordered the new one, & found it to be poor quality compared to my older one (not so old...purchased the 1st one in April this yr). There is less padding both in the back & on the bottom. The fabric itself isn't what the older one was. Tried to return it, but by the time I paid for shipping it back, 1/2 of my investment was gone...Not happy
