These are fantastic! I have bought a pair for my boyfriend, my son, and ordering a pair for my other son.. They wear them when they ride their motorcycles. Light weight, but sturdy. They hold up really well. So glad I found them on zappos!

I got these in the sand/suede color. They are a first rate military boot. They are deceptively light and incredibly comfortable. They feel more like a nice athletic shoe than a traditional military boot. They are comfortable enough that I would wear them when not working. I wish however, that Adidas made them in green suede, so I could buy and wear them for work in the US and not just overseas. You will not be disappointed!

I have walked seven miles at a time in these boots without any foot or ankle discomfort. If they can do that for my oddly shaped feet and awkward gait, they should be stable enough for anyone. And despite the sturdy look and feel, they don't get too hot or feel too heavy after hours of wear. These don't have to be part of a uniform to be a good choice: if you're looking for more than a walking shoe but not quite a boot, this is your footwear.

These shoes are sturdy and comfortable. Usually priced much higher, this shows you the value of Zappos. Plus, if you are a V.I.P. you get it next day. I am in Heaven. The next day thing for free is unheard of on the internet. Thank you, Zappos!

Excellent boots for guys on duty that are required to be active. These are very light and do definitely feel closer to an athletic sneaker than a traditional duty boot (which for most of us is a good thing). I work in Booking at my agency and sometimes have to perform nearly 100 clothed pat searches a day as arrests are received, meaning I'm up and down and on the balls of my feet a lot, so comfortable shoes that allow one to have good freedom of movement as well as support where you need it is a huge plus. Also, since roughly 90% of our Use Of Force incidents occur in my assigned area, boots that work great for performing Subject Control techniques and mixing it up a bit are key, and these are the best I've found so far. Really, if I had to I could train and hit the gym in these if I had too without it being a big deal; these boots are legit high-speed/low-drag, not at all clunky like lots of are used too. The GSG9.7 at about 7" is the right height for LEO duty too IMO, the 9" GSG9.2 is probably better for dastardly ropes out of helicopters, but from the everyday "real world" these are great. These breath and fight off sweaty feet excellently, though if one was on foot patrol in the winter in a colder area, heavier technical socks would be a must or they might not be the right choice. If there's one negative, it's that the leather on the toes, while not rough, has a texture to it that means that these aren't as easy to put a knock-out "squared away" shine on as some others, takes a couple polish sessions to get them looking less "Tactical" and really great looking with a Class A uniform; if Adidas went to a more polish-friendly smooth leather toe these would pretty much be as good as can be.
