Just tried these on and really like them. I have a 16 1/2 circumference calf and never thought I'd find an attractive high boot that fit comfortably but these definitely have room to spare. Toe area feels good, haven't walked around in them much yet but padded insole is nice and squishy. They are very plain, which I like, and are super easy to get on. no buckles or laces or tugging to pull up. They look like legit riding boots as opposed to the Gabriella Rocha boots which are softer and more slouchy. These come up a bit higher and are smoother and way more flattering than the Rocha wide calf. It's my first pair of riding boots and I'm so excited to wear them.

Love my new boots. Never being able to wear tall boots before because of wider calves...I am so excited with my purchase. They look and feel great and I should be able to wear them and tuck in pants.

Finally found a boot that fits my 17.5 - 18" calves! Note that they are widest at the very top. I have big ankles & calves and the left boot (my biggest leg) just zipped over my lower calf, but it did zip! I have a slightly wide toe box & narrow heel & these fit just right. The shoe part of the boot is very comfortable. The soles will need some scuffing before wearing on anything slick. The leather is nice quality & styling isn't clunky like a lot of riding style boots. I will definitely be able to wear these with skirts. Overall very happy to have found these boots!

Wow! Every year I struggle into some wide-wide calf boots and go through the process each time I wear them of warming up the leather by walking around with them half-zipped, inching the zipper up, and finally encasing my big, muscular calves in them with NO room to spare. Then two things happen: 1) I never wear them to places I might have to unzip them, like to the doctor or the airport, and 2) within a couple of years the zipper pull snaps off from the struggle. These boots are different. They are Fitzwell quality, gorgeous, AND truly wide-wide calf. I wore them to the doctor just the other day, and easily unzipped them and put them back on afterward. And I'll be wearing to the airport next week, knowing I can get them back on after the security line without a major production. Plus, I'm guessing I'll be wearing them for many years to come since I'm not having to pull and twist and manipulate the zipper to get them on. Amazing!

I just received these boots today and I absolutely love them! I tried so many different boots but could not find any that would fit my calfs. These are perfect! The heel is the perfect height. The foot is a bit large but I plan on putting insoles in them so they will be a perfect fit. I wish that I had found these when I first started searching for boots.

This boot is great if you have extra wide calves and my calves measure 16" and they are way to loose around my calves. I am reordering wide not extra wide.

Finally found a boot that fits my large calves! Unfortunately, the shoe part seems to be about a half size too big. Have to return them, but will be trying a half size smaller.

I love these black boots! They are definitely extra wide calf and I'm happy that they leave me a couple inches of room for jeans, etc. I also have the Romantic Soles Lynnea in brown and those are snug but doable for me. These Fitzwell boots provide a few more inches of room. These boots have everything I was looking for wide calf, sleek look, not slouchy, small heel, comfortable!

I ordered this boot because the calf measurement for my size appeared to be a good fit for my large, muscular calves. I have always had difficulty finding a good fit, but these are generously roomy, and I can even tuck in my jeans. The leather is very smooth, and stiifer than I expected, but this actually keeps the boots from wrinkling at the ankle when worn. I ordered a haalf size larger than my shoe size and a wider width so I couldd wear my warm wool socks with them. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My calfs are 17" and I can never find anything that fits these boots are amazing and i can wear them with skinny jeans. They are excellent boots!

My mom got me these boots as a birthday gift. I have a really hard time finding knee high boots, as I have a super meaty calf. These boots are great! Super comfortable, it's still a little snug on my extra wide calf, but, they zip. They look great, and the heel is a great height and a little lift without being a high heel. I love them!

They boots look kind of cheap. But I've tried so many pair of boots to find some that fit my calf that I kept them. These are actually too wide for my calves - I can put them on and take them off without unzipping. Note that they also are taller than most boots.

I am 5"6" and have a 17 1/2" calf - so have spent years trying to find boots that fit. This pair zipped up easily, it's a big wider at the top than my calf, so there is room to tuck in jeans. However, the foot felt tight and a bit narrow. I normally wear a 8 M. So - I have to return them. If the foot was a touch wider I would have kept them.

I ordered these first because I wanted a simple riding boot. I usually wear a size 9M or 8 1/2 W so I ordered a 8 1/2 W. The boot is nice looking and the leather doesn't look cheap. Unfortunately, the very top of the shaft is very wide. I have wide calves but my legs taper back in. These boots made me look like I had pirate boots on. I ordered the Rose Petal Sammi Wide Shaft in a 8 1/2 WW and those boots fit much better. The very top of the Rose Petal is not as wide as these but they still gap a little.

I really like these boots, they are very cute and look sharp. The only thing is they felt much larger in the footbed than any other shoe I've ordered in my size (8.5 W) and a bit "bony" (like you could feel the footbed construction under foot). I put in a double thick foam "pillow" and that did the trick but beware of the hard footbed.

These run very true to size. I had to send them back because they were actually too big for me. The calf, though, was very large - bigger than the listed measurements.

I loved the boots but the 16" circumference measured 19" much too big even with jeans tucked in. Otherwise I loved the boots.

I never find a boot wide enough to fit my calves actually a 17". Well, guess what. I purchased this boot 19" to ensure it fit and it was just as the description described 19" so it was too big. I place another order for a boot 17". Other than that the boot was perfect, very stylish.

These boots run true to size, and gave me plenty of room for my large calves. The top of the boot flares out instead of fitting close to the leg, but I do not mind this. It's a very comfortable heel height and the quality of the leather is nice. Easy to get on and off and good looking. I am happy to find these because there are so few options for a girl with large calves.

I'm so happy I got these boots! I have 17 inch calves and these go on so easy. No fighting with the zipper or anything. They are plainly styled, but that's what I was looking for. I normally wear a 7, but exchanged for a 7.5 because the 7 was pretty tight. I think the leather will loosen up with more wears.

I have an extremely hard time finding boots with a shaft wide enough for my huge calves. These are very wide in the calves. I don't even have to unzip them. These look kind of cheap, but they are comfy and they fit, so I kept them.

I didn't keep these. They were *almost* right, but just not good enough. First off, they are VERY slippery. When I first popped them on I nearly killed myself walking to the next room. I routinely wear an 8.5 in almost all shoes, so I ordered an 8.5 in these. They were almost too snug to be acceptable but I think they would give with continued wear. They are definitely wide-calf boots, they fit my 18" calves just fine -- unfortunately, they bow a bit out at the top so you end up looking like a pirate. I wasn't impressed with the pirate look and this was the only reason for my return. I can get over the slippery sole, I can get over little arch support, but the way they bow at the top just wasn't flattering at all. The search continues.

Very disappointed in this boot. The WW was the perfect size for my wide calves, however the poor quality of the boot made me return them. For this price, I would expect leather, but the shaft seems like a cheap imitation of leather instead. Also, the sole is extremely slippery, even when walking around in my kitchen. Can't imagine trying to walk in these on an icy winter day.

I'm 5' 3" and bought 7W. They fit mid-calf but were huge at the top. Also, the heel was hard plastic.

I liked them but the leather looked a bit cheap and plastic (even though it was actually leather). I like the leather better on the Fitzwell Valencia. Also, they were very big and wide. I ordered the same style and width as last year with Fitzwell and they were alot bigger. I had to send a few pairs back before I discovered my new size. I have an 18 inch calf and they fit me with LOTS of room to spare.
