These are very light weight and comfortable. I ended up having to go a half size smaller for my 7 year old and got 12.5.

These are great kids' shoes. My daughter plays hard in shoes and these have consistently held up. They are expensive, but each pair lasts the 12 months that we need. This is our fifth pair.

I bought these for my kindergartner for school. They are great, sturdy, well made shoes. They are easy for her to put on by herself. She wears a uniform and these were a nice alternative to the light up or blinged shoes. She received lots of compliments and was very proud of our choice.

My daughter loves these "fast shoes." I love that these fit wide feet and provide the foot support my daughter needs. Her last pair in this style lasted 6 months.

We've used Tsukihoshi for about 3 years. They are easy to get on and off, have a nice adjustable fit, and hold up well to lots of wearing and washing. Not too bulky and light-weight.

We love this brand. Have another style that has been worn for 6+ months and still in good condition. These are cute for pink-loving girl.

These are the best children's shoes! I only buy Tsukihoshis for my kids. They are washable and last forever!

My daughter told me her toes felt like they were too pushed together in the front, so I guess it was more narrow feeling than we expected. She’s had “stretchier” shoes in the past that she’s loved to death so it might just be where the leather crosses over the front of the foot in the front that isn’t as soft/broken in yet that she’s reacting to. Otherwise, it seemed like a good fit. For example, she tends to complain about the way sneakers feel against the back of her ankle, but she thought these were comfortable there. I personally didn’t realize this had glitter on it, so I was a little relieved she didn’t like them and wanted something else instead.

Loved the shoes my girls loves them too they are a sparkle red. Very comfortable.

We liked these but felt they were a little too glitsy for second grade. They're great, durable, and comfortable, and we loved them in K and 1st grade...

Love this brand, but this particular style is a more snug fit than some other styles. Its still a great shoe and if you've tried other styles that fit your child a little too big, this one is the style for you!

The shoes are very light and sturdy. They are on the wider and bigger side. I'm taking 1 star off because the blue mesh did not held up in a few spots. It's been only 3mo, and the shoes look run down. I had the Tsukihoshi Speed for my son and they have been used for twice the time with as much or more use, and look better than my daughter's Tsukihoshi Glitz. Other than the appearance, the rest is holding up.

Big difference bt the size 13 and 13.5 13.5 was huge and closer to size 1

My daughter had the purple ones a few sizes ago when she would have been too little to really comment on how she liked the shoes. We just tried a new pair (the gold and coral which are even flashier in person) and while she liked the way they looked, she complained that they were hard and uncomfortable. They do seem pretty rigid - which provided good support when she was learning to walk, but now that she needs something for running around the park and playing, it doesn't seem great. We are returning these and going with the Racer style that her brother has - they are more lightweight and flexible. Note on size: we downloaded the size chart from Tsukihoshi's website to get sizing for both kids, and in both instances, we need to size down a full size to get the right fit. Son measured a 12 and needs an 11, daughter measured an 11 and needs a 10.

My daughter has a narrow foot. These gapped quite a bit on her.

My daughter has to force her foot into the shoe because the elastic bands that look like shoe laces don't stretch easily. This style seems narrower than the Tsukihoshi shoe styles (wheel and euro) that I've purchased previously. Tried this style (glitz) because my 4 year old wanted a shoe that looked like it had laces instead of the "little kid" shoes with the big Velcro. Disappointed with this shoe because it's hard for her to get it on/off by herself. I'm going to try to return this. It's too bad because the shoe is really cute. In the photo you can't tell that the shoe has a glitter like look to it. My 4 year old loves the way it sparkles!

These sneakers weren't quite as amazing as expected based on other reviews. These were very very roomy, run large - both length and width, so I think well suited to kids who need a wider shoe. Also the quality wasn't as expected based on the price. Returned.

I had high hopes for these shoes because of all the positive reviews and the style. Unfortunately, my daughter only wore them one day before they started falling apart. She is hard on her shoes but I expected more for the cost. Returning.

We love Tsukihoshi shoes for our kids. Unfortunately, it’s only been 5 months and the sole of my daughter’s shoe is falling apart for this particular pair of shoes. This has not ever happened before.

I have a very active daughter who wears these to school 5 days/week. She puts holes in the instep side of the shoe around the toes within 30 days of us buying these shoes. We keep buying them though because she has a very wide foot and they are the only shoe we can find that properly fits her little Fred Flintstone block feet. We just overlook the holes or patch them with duct tape. Pretty disappointing for the price!

The shoes were great and loved by my daughter but two months later they look 10 years old. They just fell apart. We bought a second pair and the same thing happened. They didn’t last one season and my daughter isn’t exceptionally hard on her shoes.

Even though I traced my granddaughter's exact footprint as described elsewhere on this website, the shoe was obviously a size too large. Her shoes kept falling off as she was running here and there.
