This is a great looking dress, but like many other people have said, it is way too long. I'm 5'6" and put on 2.5" heels and it still touches the floor. If it were about 2 inches shorter it would be the perfect length for me. I may get it hemmed because I fear tripping on it.
I like that it is very soft (like a t-shirt), but I was hoping for more "formal" material. It's a pretty dress and I love the way it hangs, but it's not the "fancy party" or "prom" or evening gown I was hoping for.

6'1, 170lb and I ordered large. I wear size 8-10 on top and 12 on bottom. I was mildly surprised at the snug fit at the bodice though the hips are fine. Usually with this silhouette, I wear a large with room to spare and can sometimes take a medium depending on the brand. It is a bit high waisted, but I have a long torso. I am an almost B cup so the deep neckline does not show anything off. Any bigger and there would definitely be cleavage. I took a chance given all the comments about length and it is just about perfect. Another 1/2 inch in length would work better, but I can still get away with it in flats. The fabric has a solid weight and drapes nicely. Very slimming and no sign of bumps and lumps.

Very long - I'm 5'2" and had to take it up about 4 inches on the bottom. Also very low-cut, so I closed up the neck a little bit as well. However, I think the dress is fantastic. It's hard to find a maxi dress that's flattering and doesn't add padding to the stomach area. I'd definitely recommend for curvy girls.

Nice dress, drapes nicely, may cling to imperfections but if its a dark color its not noticeable. It's VERY long. I got the large because I have a large chest. I am not short and not tall-- average 5'6" and the dress drags on the ground. Will definitely need to get it hemmed and I imagine the medium is not much shorter.

This is a great dress, very comfortable. I wore it to an outdoor wedding May. As others have noted (and I didn't believe until I tried it on) - this is very long. I had to have a least 4 inches taken off. The deep v in the front is very deep and I also had that tacked up a little at the same time. I am 5'8, 145 lbs and I bought a large.

This dress is a gorgeous color, mine is Poppy! It was ridiculously long and had to be taken up, although I had 4" heels on. I am 5'10" - if that helps. As mentioned in another review it is a heavy dress, but doesn't feel heavy when on. If you're tall - you will love it! Otherwise, it is costly to alter it after already spending close this much!

I was hoping this dress would work. I tried it in four fabrics, but couldn't get past that it was just too much fabric for me. I felt like I was drowning in it. I am 5'2", 118lbs. and ordered the XS. I am a 0-2 on top and size 4 on bottom. The dress just doesn't work on a very petite figure. The extra long length didn't bother me as I usually have to get everything hemmed. It is a quality dress and I would still recommend it to someone with more curves.
