I have a huge problem finding shoes. I waitress and am on my feet 8-12 hours at a time. I have bunions, too. Most shoes make me want to cry within an hour or so. I have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes that felt great in the store and killed on the job. It is common for my feet to hurt so much they literally go numb by the end the shift. I got these in the mail yesterday and wore to my second shift of the day (my feet were already tender from the first 7 hour shift!) These Arcopedico's are INCREDIBLE! They have a perfect fit, are very lightweight, comfortably accommodates my bunions AND my exceptionally high instep, and are cute to boot! Even my 20 year old daughter commented that they weren't nearly as ugly as the shoes I normally wear to work!

Pros: Very comfy, orthotic-friendly, more flattering than I expected. Cons: Runs a full size small, laces are very impractical but can only be replaced by cutting them out. Full review: I wear a 7.5 in most other brands and these shoes in a 38 were borderline small without my orthotics and way too small with orthotics. The 39 fits perfectly with my orthotics. The toebox is nice and roomy, and the shoe is more narrow in the midfoot and heel. The uppers are a thin, stretchy material, so not only is it great for problems like hammertoes and bunions, it hugs your foot and creates a sleeker look than most orthopedic shoes. I got these shoes in black and they look nicer on my foot than I expected! They have a good amount of arch support -- so much that when I removed the insole, the shoe's arch support prevented my orthotic from laying flat! However, I was able to wear my orthotic on top of the included insole and that works perfectly. (And I have very high arches/insteps -- I've never had a shoe with enough depth where I can wear my orthotics without removing the insole! Which makes it even more amazing that these shoes don't look bulky on my feet!) My biggest complaint is that the laces are so stretchy, they don't hold my foot in the shoe at all and my heel slips out with every step. I replaced the laces with regular black laces and they work great -- just be aware that you can only replace the laces by cutting off the metal tab of the included laces, and thus won't be able to return the shoes.

I have had these shoes for about a year now, in black. What caught my attention was the reviewer who is a waitress and on her feet all day. I am an esthetician, and I stand all day for my job. I try to look cute with cute footwear (sandals, flats, trendy shoes) but my feet and back are in pain by the end of my long shifts. My legs actually feel very sore and tender, causing my energy levels to deplete and not be as productive, I actually feel tired faster. When I wear my arcopedicos, I have full energy all day and the only thing that makes me tired is lack of sleep, not because my feet/back are sore. Even then, I have way more energy during my shift and my feet/back never feel sore, only my sleepy head. I used to think they were not-so-cute, but I don't even care anymore because I feel great when I wear them. They are amazing, highly recommended for people who have to stand all day. Super light, that I feel like I can walk and stand all day. The only thing tired at the end of the day is my mind. They are made incredibly well, for being almost a year old and wearing them full time, I see no need to get another pair yet. They are awesome. Save your feet and your back! Your feet will be so happy and thankful.

These shoes rock! I just re-entered the workforce (in retail sales) and had to find shoes that I could stand and walk in all day, and look somewhat dressy -- at least not athletic shoes. Nothing was working until I tried these out. They fit well, they are light, and breathable. I have no pain. And I didn't even need to add my orthotics. I highly recommend these shoes, especially for people who have bunions.

I read the other reviews about these running small, so I ordered up a half size and they felt too large. They did not have very good arch support and since I have flat feet the side of my foot rolled over the side of the shoe, so they went back...continuing on my quest for comfortable casual shoes with arch support...

These are really cute and comfortable. I typically take size 8.5 and had to size up 1/2 size. Even with bunions these fit well.

I am a tried and true Birkenstock wearer. Finding shoes wide in the toe box is not easy. I needed shoes that had some class and were closed toe for my occupation. I was pleased that this shoe has a wide toe box. However, this particular shoe has leather sewn around the shoe's opening and it cuts into your ankle, causing a blister or rub. I had to modify by finding some heel protectors on inside of shoe. I will also state that this shoe fits higher in the back of shoe than many others do not. I like these shoes but not 100% the elastic through the eyelets is much too tight. Like one other reviewer I cut them off and got some laces. Normally I wear a size 37 in European sizing but these you must go up one size or your toes will be smashed at the tip of the shoe. This is why the 3 star overall rating because you have to fiddle to get the shoe to work.

I like Arcopedico, and I like this style. I ordered based on the reviews. I too have bunions and a hammertoe, due to unfortunate genetics and years of being obsessed with style. At first try-on, I thought they might be too snug. Then I tried again, and thought they would be ok. The 3rd time, I wore them outside on a nice day, without socks. I went to a local animal rescue to meet a couple dogs, and on the way home, I realized I hadn't thought about my feet the whole time, which means I was comfortable, right? I'm hoping to take them on a trip to Europe in the fall, and I have high hopes! Thank you Zappos for your great service!!

I love these shoes! I got a pair of black ones a few months ago and loved them so much that I bought two more pairs, one black and one black-gray. The black-gray pair seems to be a tad wider than the solid black ones, but both pairs fit like a glove. I originally bought the first pair because of my bunions. With these shoes I have absolutely no problem with the bunions. They were the only shoes I wore on my month-long European trip where I walked 12-14 miles a day. My feet did not hurt afterwards which has not always been the case with other brands.

I bought this shoe because I've been looking for a pair of non-clunky red sneakers. It has limited support for my high arches, but it's lightweight and stylish. I won't be running or walking long distances in it, but it will be fun to wear for light use.

I've not worn this brand before and I am newly dealing w/ a prosthetic brace that has a wider, larger foot orthotic than I had before. Still trying to figure out the right size These laces would not work for me either

You would like to know what I think? Here goes! Arcopedico is without a doubt, the shoe that takes your foot and makes it feel as though you’ve never been so comfortable in a shoe regardless of what foot problems you may have. I have no idea how they do it, but they do it. I have 3 pair and wear them all in perfect comfort. Please try Arcopedico. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but there’s a reason, which you will experience the moment you put your foot in one of their shoes.

I was looking for a pair of sneaker-like shoes that I could wear all day without pain. My only quibble with these shoes - and I am going to make the alteration needed - is the stretch laces. My foot is narrow with high arches. The arch support is okay (I may add inserts) but the laces have got to be replaced. I can't tighten these. I admit it's handy to be able to slip them on, but I need firmer laces. The navy color isn't overly blatant, which was a concern (I didn't want all black) and the shoes look great with jeans. The arch support is decent. (If I need more, I can add inserts.) What I really love about these sneakers is the flexibility of the soles - they are light and you hardly know you have them on! This is my second pair of Arcopedico shoes, and although they are pricey, they do work!

I wear a 39 but ordered the 40 as recommended and the 40 fit perfectly (my regular size = 8.5). The shoes are absolutely comfy -- like wearing slippers. Unfortunately I sent the back because the red were flawed. I reordered the gray black from Amazon via Zappos because the shipping is faster that way and they are perfect!

Zappos suggested I order the size I normally wear in street shoes. However, after reading several reviews about how small they run, I ordered the size I usually get in a running shoe. Big mistake on my part. They were too big all over - length and width. Style wise they were pretty cute.

Based on others' reviews I wanted to love this sneaker. Bought it one size up as reviews indicated.
I give it an A+ for width (for my C-width foot) and for styling. Negatives were that it was too short in the length so my toes were cramped and it didn't have enough padding in the sole - I felt the carpet right through the sole. Sadly, these are going back.

These are exactly what I hoped for: great style, well-made, and very comfortable! They feel like a massage on the arches of my feet. The shades of navy are perfect, rich and dark - darker on the leather, a richer blue on the suede parts. However, these do run small! I expected size 39 to be too big, as I am never larger than 38. But surprisingly, the 39s are perfect and I returned the 38s.

Best shoe I’ve ever worn! The material doesn’t irritate my foot so I can wear them without socks. The arch support is in exactly the right place for my foot. My feet aren’t hurting at the end of my shift.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes. I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a bunion, but these shoes are so comfortable - they feel great. I do try to wear my orthotics whenever possible, and although they do fit in these shoes the orthotics are a bit too wide for them, but since the fabric gives a bit, it is possible to use the orthotics. I will most likely not use them with these shoes though since they don't fit in as well as they do with my other shoes.

Like some others here have said, I found these to be a full size too small, which meant I had to send back the size 11s and order a size 12, which was a little hard on the ego :-P However, the 12s fit perfectly, and as a bonus they actually make my feet look smaller. The style is cute, flattering, and comfortable.

These shoes fit my feet like....well, like a glove! The arch is excellent, and since the sides of the shoes are fabric, they allow my feet to spread a bit during the day, and especially days of a lot of walking. They are very light, and make me want to walk a lot. I got them because for two successive years we have gone on vacations that were restricted (for me) by my feet getting sore and full of blisters. I tried various ways of avoiding or lessening the effect of the blisters, but the upshot was that I couldn't walk as much as I wanted. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give these the rigorous workout that I'd expected because our trip was cancelled because of the pandemic. However, I've been wearing them every day since I got them--no break-in time at all, and not one uncomfortable moment in them. I highly recommend them. And for those who think they're funny looking, I get compliments on them ALL the time!

The Leta is a dream shoe. Light as a feather, so comfy...I have flat feet, big feet, hard to fit feet. The bones at the top of my feet are high, and I love that this shoe isn't tied, but the laces "give" as needed, but fits like a glove. I spent 7 days in New York City, shoes right out of the box, no pain the whole week. When I got home, my feet felt as if they had been on a vacation, rested and happy. I bought the blue ones and I'm so happy with the color and materials. I wear a size 10 1/2, but the color on these made my feet look smaller. I just put in an order for another pair, same color, to keep on hand when my first pair wears out, which I think will be a long way off as they wear so well! I LOVE these shoes!

A friend told me that these are the shoes she takes to walk miles in when touring Europe. I see why! They have enough support and look good enough to wear with jeans or black pants for dinner. I have very wide feet and usually wear a 41. I will order the next pair in a 42 for a smidge more length.
