I loved these slippers, because it is rare to find slippers that are both warm and narrow. I was especially pleased that they were washable. THEN I washed them (in a non-agitating machine, and I allowed them to air dry). One of the slippers footbed became all "knotted up" and I could no longer wear the slippers. Very disappointing! Do not buy these slippers if you are counting on washing them; otherwise, they are great.

The sizing is difficult to understand. I can wear a 9 1/2 - 10. That was too tight for me, so I sent for the 11. The toe area feels better but the ankle can not be adjusted tightly enough. They should have a longer Velcro strip to give a tighter adjustment. But even when attached, it comes loose. I didn't wear them enough to see the problem. When I decided I didn't like them I had worn them so the soles didn't look new. I should have returned them!

Bad design at the heel. If it weren't for the vertical seam that causes a fabric "knob" or bulge at the very top of the slipper these would be like wearing marshmallows. I wore them for 2 minutes and knew they would never work. The "knob" rubs right on the back of your upper heel area. Too bad -- great slipper except for a design flaw. I loved that I had found a comfy wide bootie-style with a sturdy sole. I thought I'd found foot nirvana! Please, Daniel Green, correct this simple defect. I ordered a half-size larger than normal and the fit was good. Wide width was nice.

Was so excited to finally find a pair of cozy slippers. Heard that they ran small, so ordered a whole size larger. Couldn't believe how tight even the larger size was. Made in China, so maybe size for smaller women. Yikes!

These were reasonably warm and didn't let the cold come through the tile floors, but the flimsy soles and lack of arch support left me feeling as if I were walking on the outside of my feet. Will return.

I wear a size 5.5, so I tried the size 6, based on other reviews. It was way too small, so I returned it and bought a size 7. Even 1 1/2 sizes larger it was still too small. The main issue is the stitching on either side of the velcro. It is very constricting and digs into the top part of my foot. The length and width seemed fine otherwise. I am returning these and not bothering to try a larger size. It seems more like a design flaw than an issue with sizing.

These slippers were way too small. I wear a size 8 in NB shoes and a 9 in Brooks. I thought size 10 would fit, too small. Also I have a narrow ankle and the velcro on the strap was not big enough.

Runs extremely small! I usually wear a 10, but I ordered 11-Wide since I like slippers loose. I couldn't even get 1/2 of my foot into these! They look really well-made and comfy, but you need to order two sizes up!

Love the style of the slipper, pretty baby pink. I usually wear a 6 in this style of slipper. According to reviews I sized up to a size 7. Arrived in the usual speedy Zappos way. There was no way I could wear the slippers and be comfortable (with or without socks). I loved everything about the slippers, decided to exchange them for a size 8. They arrived quickly, so sad I had to return them too. Not much difference between the seven and the eight. No complaints...Zappos takes care of their customers. Off shopping for another slipper.

Purchased this item for my 95 year old Mother. She has a high instep and couldn't get it on. Disappointed because she loved the slipper.

This is not sized properly. I wear a 7 1/2 and the size 8 was hard to get on at all and uncomfortably tight once I had squeezed it on. Do not recommend.

Very disappointed. I couldn't even get my feet into these slippers. I liked the other pair of Daniel Green slippers I had which was a nice plain bootie I can just slip on!

These really run small! I ordered a 9M and it was too short. I normally wear an 8M in most shoes. I like it and am going to return the 9M for a 10M to see if it fits better.

Odd fit. Didn't seem long, but sides/top are stitched in such a manner that thought I ordered a wide size, it was a struggle to get my wide foot in the opening. Too much effort for a slipper. Don't think a bigger size would help.

These slippers will notwork for people who need extra deep footwear. I have chronic edema in my right foot due to trauma, which means I need either extra depth footwear, or soft, stretchy material on top. I could not even get these slippers on my feet. The foot opening is very tight and the top of the slipper is quite rigid, not soft and flexible. I would prefer to post this review without having to put any stars, simply because I could not really evaluate the slippers, but the website insisted I click on something. Hence the ones.

The opening where you slide your foot in is too small making it very difficult to put on. If you have any physical difficulties I would not buy this slipper. My wife ordered a full 1-1/2 size bigger than her normal size and they were still too tight.
